Great tour of the highlights of Glastenbury
Great tour. Tor really knew his history and places of interest to show us. Would have loved to know more about the significant trees in the Challice well gardens.

          Wonderful tour by Tor!
Wonderful tour--included the expected sies like the Abbey, Tor, and Chalice Well, but also less expected ones that were a real treat. Tor was a wonderful guide--he gave us all a great experience!

A dip into the well of Sacred energy
This tour was guided by Tor of Tor on Tour out of Glastonbury. Tor is an amazing guide, very informative, very patient and very flexible. His knowledge of the area, sacred and otherwise, is immense and no question put to him goes unanswered. He is accompanied by his dogs who are engaging and a delightful addition. This is one of the best tours I have ever been on.

The Top Tour of the Tor with our host, Tor! So special!
Absolutely loved this tour with Tor of the Tor! I thoroughly loved this walking tour through the sacred sites of Glastonbury and Tor was an excellent host! He even led us through guided visualizations at each of the sites that really added to the whole experience & made it quite special. Not your average tour. Highly recommended!

          Excellent Tour!
I heard about Tor's Tours via many recommendations on FB threads when people were asking about how best to spend their time when visiting Glastonbury. A friend and I chose the 7 hour Glastonbury walking tour, with Chakra meditations at various stops. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the walk, the sites, the meditations, and all the history and stories that Tor shared with us. The tour ended with a walk up the Tor. I really wish we had started with the walk up that big hill, then the smaller hill, then easier as the day wore on. We were every sort of tired at the end of the tour, but felt completely exhilarated at the same time. Our visit was just two nights, so this tour allowed us to see all of the highlights in the most efficient way, leaving a full day to stroll around the town and do a bit of independent exploring. Truly wonderful. 💖

          Fun, Upbeat and Lovely tour
I had a wonderful time out with Tor and guest on a Stonehenge and Avebury tour! Tor is a comforting and horizon-broadening presence. He made it feel as though we had traveled back centuries and were participants and more than visitors. He is a joy to be around and a fantastic guide, I was on what one might call a pilgrimage and Tor is the perfect facilitator to open up worlds of past and present. He also gave a very authentic engaged and generous reading afterwards. Would tour again. Thank you Tor x

          Disappointing lack of communication
Multiple messages went unanswered, so we did not get to take the much anticipated Tot tour. Tried the Legend London tour with same outfit but again message went unanswered. Disappointing. Not confident to book multiple day tours with them.. Will update if we hear back from the operator.

Awesome Eight Day Tour of England
I having been leading group trips to sacred sites since 1993. We have studied Ethnobotany, Cultural Ecology and worked with the Mysteries of the Ancient Ancestors globally. Tors tours was fantastic and one of my all time favorite Journeys. It was full of Lore and History. I not only loved our travels along the lay lines, but the added Spiritual insights and Magical experiences that were interwoven. The places we stayed and our meals were simple, cozy, non-commercial and comforting. This tour was “The Best”! Thank you Tor and Michael for a delightful introduction to magical England.

          Top Guide to Glastonbury
Tor is the perfect guide for an immersing experience in the Heart of Glastonbury. He not only displays a vast knowledge of the history of the town, but he also has a deep understanding of the spirit of it. Great sense of humour, too! Just loved it.

          Very positive experience with Tor!
A very relaxing and low-stress tour with lots of storytelling and explanations of the history of the area, without it being overload. I went solo and met wonderful people on the tour. Stonehenge is nothing short of magical. Tor is extremely knowledgeable of the area. He is a safe driver. Wonderful lunch stop. Highly recommend!

So knowledgeable, filling in many blanks after going to the site alone.
I appreciated Tor's extensive knowledge, and easy going manner. I loved it when he surprised us with a short flute song while in the Abbot's kitchen. Be ready for a faster paced walk, though he kindly waits for all before sharing information. I'm also grateful for the book he recommended on the history of Glastonbury when I inquired. Thanks again, Tor! You were great!

Tor is an authentic jewel!! His presence made the entire trip. We spent time with him in Glastonbury as well as Tintagel all… His knowledge and understanding and the way that he shares it is a true treasure! The best!
If you’re lucky and time it right, he also gives the best birthday Meditations!

My mother, son, and I had a wonderful 2 day tour with Michael in February of both Glastonbury and Avebury and the ancient stone circles. My 8 year old son is not easily entertained and seemed to be under Michael's magical spell for an entire 8 hour day whilst walking 6 miles in Glastonbury learning about Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdelene and King Arthur and the Knights of Templar. He was determined to hike up to St. Michael's tower on the Tor and once accomplishing that goal skipped happily along with Michael playing games along the way. Micheal was a knowledgable tour guide who exercised a saintly amount of patience with my son and our questions which I truly appreciated.

To continue our journey in the spirit of the Knights of Templar in the quest to find the holy grail, my mother and I signed up for another 2 day tour in November of Dartmoor and Cornwall, this time with Tor. We were excited to have a different perspective by Tor leading our quest and had the most magical visit in both places. Tor's recommendations for both B&B accommodation and food and drink in Tintagel were spot on and the November weather cooperated! For me, the highlight of the tour was Wistman's Wood in Dartmoor where I went in asking for guidance on my life's purpose and left with a vision that included some life changing information that I plan to put to good use! Merlin's Cave at Tintagel also cannot me missed. Please note, bring Wellies! We did not and had a wonderful adventure however they are advised (the water is very cold barefoot!!). St. Nectan's Glen and the Mother Waterfall was another magical opportunity to look inward discovering the holy grail existing inside ourselves. Tor was patient and kind, engaging, and of course intuitive giving us a first class experience of these sacred sights. Many thanks and we look forward to returning for another tour in the future!

First of all, let me state plainly and clearly that my wife and I are American. We are not wealthy, but work hard for our money and enjoy spending it on experiences. We thought that Tors Tour of King Arthur’s Cornwall would be magical and illuminating. It was anything but. The first red flag happened at the very outset of the tour when we were to meet Tor at 10:00am outside our B&B. He was half an hour late as his van broke down and he had to rent a car for the tour. Upon arriving late, he said he had texted my wife to let us know - there was no such text or trace of attempted communication. Being a professional guide to far-flung points of interest, wouldn’t the maintenance of his vehicle be paramount? He also had his dog in the back and although I don’t mind dogs at all, we found that our tour had more to do with Tor playing catch with his dog while walking ahead of us rather than telling us stories about the landscape or history of where we were. What if we were allergic to dogs? Too bad - is the sentiment that comes to mind. Truly, I found that if I didn’t ask Tor pointed questions about where we were, he wouldn’t have engaged us at all. I am well aware of Arthur’s history and the magical Ley Lines that cross the landscape, but it didn’t seem as if Tor’s mind was on the job at hand. I asked many questions that he either didn’t answer fully or deflected entirely. He seemed incapable of saying, ‘I don’t know’. He did speak about a new app he was developing and was very excited about that. The places he took us to were lovely and that is true. However, there were mistakes and misses at every turn which surprised me for someone who had been giving this tour for as long as he has. The morning we were to go to Tintagel we were to be picked up at 10:00am. The night before he told us that low tide was at 7:30am and that he would pick us up then. This seemed a rather late development when I assume anyone could have looked up the tides before the tour and adjusted the schedule, especially a guide getting paid 245.00 for each of us. As it was, Merlin’s Cave was awash in the ocean due to violent weather. I do not hold Tor responsible for this at all. Truly, had this tour cost 50.00 each I would have thought all was as it should be, but 245.00 per person is no small sum and yes, I expected more care for the price. I felt that Tor was not really interested in giving the tour his all and that it was a money-making hobby while he developed his app and other more interesting ideas for himself. I have just read some reviews from earlier dates, 2012, 2013 on his website and they are all glowing, so I am flummoxed as to what has happened in the meantime.
Our B&B hosts said he was very knowledgeable about everyplace on the tour, so I was perplexed that it was so difficult to get him to tell us anything. I felt his attention and interests were elsewhere and that the tour was nowhere near worth the price of 245.00.
Everyone has their bad days and this was certainly one for Tor. We had other tour guides in Bath and also Stonehenge and the difference between their affable knowledge and attention to us and Tors lack was astonishing. I couldn’t help but think that he didn’t like us personally for some reason. At the end of it, I felt I had paid such a hefty sum in order to be present while Tor walked and played ball with his dog. When he charges 245.00 per person, I don’t feel he can afford that kind of lapse in interest, or he should be doing something else.

I sincerely apologize for your less than enjoyable tour experience. Please know that I always put forth my utmost effort to ensure every tour is exceptional. My dog Nettle is usually a delightful addition, but it was unfortunate that my vehicle's clutch malfunctioned the night before your tour. Despite taking the best possible care of it, the rubber seal on the clutch inevitably degraded over time. To make amends, I would be more than happy to offer you a complimentary tour, and I'm confident you'll have the same wonderful experience that our other customers have had.

This tour was absolutely amazing, inspiring, beautiful, breath-taking, life changing, and a spiritual awakening for me. If you're a fan of King Arthur and Merlin you will absolutely love this; but even if you aren't, the sights of true wondrous natural beauty will make it well worth it regardless. Tor is incredibly kind and down-to-earth, making this tour even more of a joy. I also had the pleasure of traveling with his dog Nettle who is a total sweetheart and was also very good for my animal loving soul. I have not a single negative thing to say about this experience. I would do it again in an instant. Very highly recommend. :)
