Have been to the gin school on 2 occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Andrew and Josh have been fantastic hosts and Marcela provides an outstanding lunch with delicious food and substantial portions.
Andrew provides a thorough history of gin, combined with the gin tasting experience and entertaining anecdotes from across the years. The day concludes with the opportunity to make your own bottle of gin to take away with you and enjoy with family/friends.
This is a fantastic way to spend a day and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a gin or two! Makes a great gift.

The old school is literally that, a comfortable, warm, cosy place full of atmosphere ably assisted by the 500 bar.
As others have previously stated, Andrew's knowledge on gin (and most other spirits) is encyclopedic. He conveys his knowledge/know how in an easy-going, humorous yet informative way. The history, tasting and composition of your gin takes place in the morning. Followed by a very tasty Mexican lunch prepared by Andrew's partner Marcela. As Marcela is originally from Mexico the food couldn't be any more authentic. The afternoon is for distilling. In a group of two, this is where the team work pays off. At the end of this session you will have your own gin to take home and share. We followed this with another Marcela prepared evening meal which was excellent. Frequent trips to the 500 bar are a must. There are so many gins for sale here that you will feel like you're in the proverbial 'sweet shop'.
At 18:00-20:00 I was also booked onto the rum masterclass. Yet again, Andrew's knowledge came to the fore. We enjoyed an informational journey through rum's past and present. Sampling some very fine rum, both light and dark.
Did I enjoy it enough to do it again? Too right I did.

Had the Gin school experience and our instructor Andrew was extremely friendly on top of possessing an encyclopaedic knowledge on the history of gin, recalling facts, figures and dates from memory at will and delivering it in a way that not only made it extremely interesting, but funny as well. All washed down with copious amounts of Gin and Tonic, from the 500 odd different gins at the bar. A fascinating explanation of how the gin “explosion” came to be from its early beginnings in the 16th century and how tonic came to be its perfect partner, this is an absolute must for gin lovers anywhere.
A fantastic lunch was also provided before moving on to the really exciting stuff of making, flavouring and distilling your own bottle of Gin (which We’ve had the pleasure of polishing off!) I cannot heap enough praise on this place. From start to finish, a fantastic day, copious gin, great food and a bottle of your own made to take home…. What more can you ask for?

Great Gin experience. Could not recommend enough.
Enjoyed every minute of the day. From the very beginning, when you are welcomed with a glass of gin to the very end when you leave with your creation in a bottle of gin.
Andrew and his wife, the owners, are amazing and very warm people. They will welcome you with impressive knowledge , a great sense of humour, and absolutely amazing food.
My husband and I enjoyed this experience so much that we are looking into booking another experience with Gin Jamboree, maybe whiskey one 😉

This was bought as a birthday gift and was a wonderful day from start to finish. We were immediately welcomed with a G&T before beginning the theory part of the day. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable but delivered the history of gin in an engaging manner and was thoroughly entertaining. A chance to sample more gins before starting mixing our own. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. After lunch we distilled our Gin (during which we were offered another G&T) before bottling, labelling and sealing our own 70cl bottle of gin to take home!
We had the most wonderful day and would totally recommend this experience to any gin lover!
Thank you Andrew and Marcela for a fabulous day.

A warm welcome right from the off from the Brilliantly knowledgeable Host Andrey and a house Gin and tonic to boot.
Andrew has an extensive experienced and humourous delivery of the history of the Gin industry
This is a 5 hour experience including a great Lunch by the in house Mexican cook . Not only will you learn the theory of making the Gin but actually create a unique Gin of your own to take home
Thanks again Andrew brilliant day

What an amazing day!! If you love Gin, you will LOVE this experience at Gin School.
We were made to feel very welcome right from the start - and given a 1st G&T straight away!
Josh kept us supplied with Gins throughout the day; Andrew was a very knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining host; supported by excellent staff providing a delicious lunch.
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day, and the opportunity to distill our very own Gin to take home!

I want to know why school couldn’t have been like this before - might have concentrated more 🤣 We learnt all about the history of gin, the history of tonic, how gin is actually made and the rise of the popularity all delivered beautifully by Andrew. I could listen to him for hours. We then got to sample lots of gin! 😁 before putting our new found knowledge to the test.
We got to make our own gin to our own flavours. Thankfully while it was ‘stewing’ they provided a much needed lunch which was beautifully cooked by Marcela which was a lifesaver.
Back to our mixtures and we put it through the still, taking off the ‘head’ (my god that bits rough), before distilling the main part, checking for alcohol content and bottling, sealing and naming!
Very happy with my creation - only time will tell what it actually tastes like but I have high expectations ☺️
The experience is 5 hours in total but it absolutely flew by and well worth every single penny. The best Gin experience I’ve ever done.
Thank you team for an wonderful day and your hospitality throughout.

What an amazing day! I had this bought for a present by my daughter, we went together and had the best day! The food was absolutely amazing, I live near a Michelin Star Restaurant and food was definitely of that quality. I would recommend this experience to everyone. You make new friends and learn so much about about Gin and The best way to drink it. The bottle of Gin you make yourself is brilliant. I really loved my day and will recommend to everyone.

Fantastic! Had the best day and we will be back for sure. This was bought for us as a Christmas present and I have to say, it was one of the best gifts I have ever received.
The day started as all good days should, with a G&T which was followed by a short history of Gin Jamboree and of gin. We then had a gin tasting session before mixing our own blend of gin!
We then got a very tasty lunch, followed by more gin!
It was a fabulous day, had the right balance of education, practical implementation and of course gin!!
They have a wonderful array to choose from, brands from all over available to try and a huge selection to purchase from.
Highly recommend to all who enjoy a G&T
