Another Great Tour from this Company
Very nice tours that take you off the beaten path in Cotswolds. Steve was a fantastic tour guide. It is a real treat to have a native of the area like him to guide you. We took this and the regular tour from this company back to back and I highly recommend doing both tours. Support this local company.

      Excellent day traveling the Cotswolds
We enjoyed a seven hour tour throughout a large portion of the Cotswolds. Our guide, Dave, was excellent! What a gentleman. His knowledge and enthusiasm of the area, and his desire to share that knowledge with us was first rate. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is a first time traveler to the Cotswolds. We were able to see things that we would’ve never been able to find if we were on our own. Cheers!

      Fabulous tour
Thought about trying to see the Cotswolds on our own. Glad we didn’t. Dave was a fabulous guide. We saw more out of the way places we would have never seen. Dave’s knowledge and stories of the area kept in engaged for the full 8 hours. Highly recommend this tour.

      Delightful day outing to Cotswolds
Lovely and enlightening day. Tour leader was so knowledgeable and gave us plenty of good instructions and time to explore multiple villages in the Cotswold. Our coach was lovely and comfortable. And our driver Steve actually dropped all of us at our respective lodging at trip end. Couldn’t have been a better day.

      Amazing tour
It was an amazing experience. We saw so many village, were able to spend decent amount of time in some of them. Steve, our driver was exceptional and very accommodating. The tour operator is very organized and emailed clear instructions. If you want a day tour Go Cotswold tour is the only way to do it. Take train from London Paddington to Moreton in Marsh and the tour will pick you up from station. We absolutely loved it.

Absolutely brilliant. Great tour, wonderful places and exceptional tour guide. I'm a travel agent in Turkey and I came to try it myself, It's far better from the tours from London, I booked a train from London to Moreton in Marsh, once I arrived I found the minibus waiting for us on time taking us to the best real spots of Cotswold, You dont need more to see. I'd recommend it to everyone and now I can help my clients to send them to Go Cotswold without a doubt. Just a small note for the people who book train from London, book a return train of 16:51 pm, because tour is almost finishing at 16:10 - 16:25 - and the guide is returning you back to the same station, so you'll be almost on time. Far better if u booked "open return ticket" - thanks go cotswold for such amazing tour.

Thank you SO much for this amazing review, Mohamed! It was a pleasure to have you and your family on our Cotswolds in a Day tour and I'm delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful time! We didn't know that you were a travel agent, but now we do, we hope we can show some of your clients around the Cotswolds in future too :-) Thanks for sharing your train travel tip. For the benefit of future tour guests who may read your review, we actually always recommend that you either purchase a flexible train ticket, and/or to plan to depart *after* 17.00. You travelled with us in January, which is a very quiet time in the Cotswolds so it sounds like your tour group were very efficient and got back a little earlier that day! However, at busier times there is more traffic on the roads and more people around, so we often arrive at Moreton-in-Marsh around 16.45-17.00. We usually make it in time for the 16.54 train back to London, but we can't always guarantee this. If you have a flexible train ticket then you won't need to worry about missing your train :-)

I did the ‘Cotswolds in a day’ tour with Colin as our tour guide. He was so friendly, informative, and gave us such an interesting and facinating commentary along the way, telling us about each place we visited and interesting facts and history, as well some very funny stories. He also chatted to all of us individually and remembered our names so easily.
Being a first time visitor to the Cotswolds and the UK, it was a really special day and one I won’t forget. I highly recommend this fantastic local company, communication was brilliant from the start, and if it wasn’t for an email alerting me about a rail strike, I wouldn’t have known and I might have got stranded in another town, so I really appreciate that as it enabled me to change my travel plans ahead of time. Thank you so much!

In the Cotswolds for the first time so we wanted to do a tour to have a good look around the area & visit some of the best villages & beauty spots. We weren't disappointed, so glad we chose this tour as it was exactly what we wanted.

Our guide Mark was exceptional, very knowledgeable, well paced & full of interesting facts about the Cotswolds & the places we visited. We went to stunning villages, had plenty of time to look around, have lunch & stroll by the river, in Bourton on the Water. The facts sheet & simple map they give you at each village ensures you make the most of your time there. Highly recommend & good value for money.

This tour was the way to go. Tom was very knowledgeable about the area as he's from the cotswolds. The van was prompt at pick up and easily distinguished by the company logo (Go). We made it to 5 villages, including an overview at Dovers Hill for a high view of the surrounding valley. Plenty of opertunuties to grab a bite to eat in most villages. The weather was quite warm so Tom made sure to start the vans AC as soon as possible prior to boarding. Thank you, Tom!

I highly recommend this tour. They provide maps for the bigger villages with points of interests marked. Great souvenir! There are also a few opportunities to get cotswolds and village specific souvenirs! We picked up a few.

Photo opportunities were plentiful. I uploaded over 150 photos to social media when we returned.

After our other tour of the Cotswalds was cancelled at last moment we were devastated until we found Go Cotswalds which was cheaper and ended up having an itinerary much better than the one we were on originally.
Mark was funny, informative and very friendly and picked us up right in front of the train station.
You can tell the itinerary was very thought out and it covered everything you needed to see to get the true Cotswalds experience. We loved it!

Colin, our host guide for the day, arrived in a very comfortable Mercedes’ mini van. One of the benefits of this mode of transport is that Go Cotswolds can take us to destinations and beautiful little towns and villages in the Cotswolds that the larger buses are either not allowed or cannot access because of the size
    Of roads and lanes.
Colin had really interesting stories and whimsical anecdotes about the places we visited, suggestions of things to view on the stops we made but left us free to choose what we visited and where we took food/drink breaks. Having worked in travel trade for many years I was curious to see how good this tour would be. Both myself and fellow travelers (one, an incentive travel planning professional for one of the worlds largest incentive travel companies) were very impressed with the tour, the history imparted, the knowledge of every aspect of the places we visited and interesting places we passed en route to stops. Colin was welcoming and friendly, called everyone by name, took time to check everyone was happy, even got us back to our drop off on time despite major traffic congestion en route because he was very familiar with all the back country roads. A happy accident because we got to see additional hidden villages on the way home. I will be using Go Cotswolds for all my visitors to our home nearby, more pleasant and relaxing than trying to do it myself. I think the venues chosen cover the flavors of the Cotswolds from major market towns to little hamlets - all stunning and individual in their own right. One piece of advice - you may want to stay longer in the area to revisit some of the towns - the independent shops in some of them are worth a trip back! Thank you Go Cotswolds and thank you Colin for a marvelous day out.

We had a fantastic day out with Tom as our guide. It was all very informative and I think we learned a lot about the Cotswolds that we would have ever known on our own. It was great having our own personalised local. We felt very safe concerning the extra requirements of Covid restrictions. The company has put in a lot of effort and we will recommend them to others.

Last year we made the miserable decision to rent a car form Bristol and drive thru the Cotswolds. Three words- DONT DO IT. Loads of traffic, road challenges, low visibility for driver (ME), and parking fun. Instead for our 30th Anniversary we decided to take a tour and boy are we glad my wife chose this one. Fantastic tour guide (Colin) with tremendous knowledge of the local towns and villages, great delivery, even better timing, and just enough history to keep you interested and engaged. Oh and yes he is a superb driver. They take you thru the perfect compliment of towns, all those us Californians were looking to see and the ideal amount of time in each town to go and discover. Our favorite is the mystery town and I wont give it away, but there was a local church serving tea and cakes to the locals and we were so happy to take part of that gathering. And try the lemon cake. Our only suggestion is to lay back and relax and enjoy the ride as the views and villages are magnificent. We caught a down pour of rain at Arlington ROw that cleared out the crowds and we were able to get no crowd shots minutes after it stopped and a double rainbow to boot. Love Stow and Chipping Campden so much we stayed in those towns. And the crowd on the bus were all so very nice and friendly. THiS TOUR IS AWESOME!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of your Go Cotswolds tour, Don! It was a pleasure to have you and Julie on our tour, especially as it was for your anniversary (congratulations!) and I'm delighted to hear that you had an awesome day with our guide Colin! I'm also super happy that you took part in the coffee morning at [Mystery Village] Village Hall - we love to support our local organisations and contribute to the local community. I'll have to try this lemon cake myself next time I'm there!

Perfect trip from beginning to end! The Cotswold villages are a must day trip and have to be seen to be believed!
Tom, our tour guide, was also amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and added so much color to the entire experience. The process was flawless. We were picked up directly at the train station and off we went.
Tom provided detail about the rich history and background of each village. He also gave us clear maps to take with us when we stopped to walk around a bit on our own. We met several very nice people in our group and enjoyed a wonderful shared experience. At the end of the trip, we went directly back to the train station…it couldn’t have been easier.
My only regret was that we arrived back at the train station with little time to let Tom know how much we appreciated his obvious caring and dedication to making this a memorable trip for us all.
Couldn’t be happier to leave a positive review!

Thank you so much for your lovely review Fred! It was a pleasure to have you both on our tour last week! I'm delighted to hear that you had a great day, not only with our guide Tom but also with your fellow passengers - for us, meeting new people and sharing experiences is one of the much-overlooked and underestimated perks of group travel compared with 'going solo'. We're so grateful that you took the time to write this review and share your experience with the Tripadvisor community too - it will be really helpful and reassuring for future travellers considering taking one of our tours :-)
