- Angelaab610 contributionsBirmingham treasure hunt excellentBirmingham. Throughly enjoyed the who experience. You get to learn so much history that you would normally pass by. Been disabled wasn’t sure if I would be ok as was just me and my adult son, but apart from maybe the canal which with a wheelchair be careful as a bit tight it is easily wheelchair accessible. The whole thing is so well thought out with hints if stuck and at the end a map and your score. So many places you can stop and have a drink be it alcohol or tea coffee. For me with the whole covid thing been outside is a bonus. Did Liverpool the other day and that was amazing but I did have to sit a few stops out with my wheelchair but didn’t spoil it for us. Can’t rate it enough. Intend doing York, Chester and Manchester in the near future. Then the others further afield with overnight stops as live in South Yorkshire . Thank you for the fun Angela and johnathonWritten 6 March 2022
- 289kirstens0 contributionsGreat exploration and puzzlesThis was a great way to explore different areas of Birmingham city centre. Knowing the area well it was wonderful to discover and learn new things about a place I had grown up in. We loved working out the puzzles and following the treasure maps we had a really good time. Can’t wait to do one in another city.Written 23 August 2020
- 373sherilynna0 contributionsAmazing day of family funWe did this on one of the hottest days of the year, but still we really enjoyed it, had loads of pub stops along the way. We let the kids take the lead and they really enjoyed feeling like they were in charge and even though they got us lost a few times, the hints always got us back in track. Really great!Written 11 August 2020

We went on this treasure hunt as part of my boyfriends birthday. We both are currently live in Birmingham for university so know the area quite well. The treasure hunt took us around the city, making as explore and look more closely at details around the city.

Great few hours despite the rain. The kids loved looking for clues and we went to parts of the city we’d never visited before. Would have been great to have had a bit more historic info as we went as we loved it when we got some. Great activity. Can highly recommend. Loved being on the canal.

Excellent fun and an brilliant way to see some of the nice parts of Birmingham.
We have great fun, walked a surprising distance and saw quite a lot of Birmingham. In some cities you can visit and not feel you have seen much of the city, this hunt really took you through a number of areas.

I'm so happy to hear you had fun exploring Birmingham Michael. It's always a nice challenge to design a route that takes in the best of the city.
Fancy another go? We're in more cities!

Nice and fun way to explore the city. Lived here for nearly 10 years and even after being city centre for most of it learnt a lot of local history and saw things I would never have stumbled across by myself. Really recommend for an afternoon where you just fancy a wander and a natter with someone

We completed this treasure hunt as part of a hen weekend (mainly family) and it was a lot of fun. We had been out for a boozy lunch so people were a bit disappointed we weren't just going straight to another pub, but as soon as we got past the first clue we were hooked! It took us to places in Birmingham that we wouldn't have naturally gone, we learnt loads about the history of the city and the pirate theme kept us all entertained! I would really recommend this as a fun activity for anyone to do, although I hope you get as lucky as we got with the weather!

Fab, fab, fab!
My daughter and i visited Birmingham one chilly Sat in Jan and i wanted an activity that would keep us entertained but moving around and exploring a bit as we were seeing a show in the evening.
This fit the bill perfectly and even kept my usually walking anywhere adverse 10 year old happy! We strolled, stopped for cake, searched, stopped for coffee and found things in the city we normally wouldn’t have. Such a great idea and I’ll definitely be doing more on our travels!

We don’t live far away from Birmingham at all and pop in and out of the city fairly often. We had a few hours to kill on this occasion with another family and in a bid to keep the kids entertained decided to do this treasure hunt. It was a brilliant experience, really well organised with simple to follow instructions. We loved how we could follow this on our phones without the need for any really detailed maps etc. This appealed to the kids too - in today’s digital world this is a huge bonus! We walked around areas that we thought we knew, but in fact learnt so much about Birmingham that amazed us! Who knew about the pen museum?! We’ve walked by the ‘Hall of Memory’ umpteen times and not really picked up on the detail of the sculptures and the significance. The hunt was fabulous to make us all really stop and think about our local history. We stopped along the way both at suggested ‘watering holes’ and others that we came across. It was fab to stop and start the trail at our convenience. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn and see a little more of Birmingham’s history!

This treasure hunt was interesting, fun and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Birmingham is a city we were not overly familiar with, but because of this trail we came across some lovely places that we wouldn't have necessarily found if we had wandered around the city aimlessly on our own . The use of WhatsAspp messages is unique and there are lots of facts provided along the way. The canal area was our favourite part of the hunt, there were also plenty of places to stop off for food and drinks. I would highly recommend giving this a go, you won't regret it.

We played treasure hunt Birmingham with some friends when we were visiting Birmingham and it was great fun! The route showed us some lovely bits of the city I’ve not seen before like down near the canal and showed off the best of Birmingham. It was a great thing to do with our friends as the game lead us round and meant that they could relax and not have to play host for us. We had fun solving the clues and spotting all the unusual things that the game pointed out. We took it at our own pace and had a great time catching up as we went round.
We played in the summer when Covid restrictions were lifted, but it would be a great game to play with social distancing as everyone plays it on their own phone and it’s all outside.

There seems to only be an option to pay for two people to do This. Is it not possible for one person to do it alone for The price of one?
