    Walk and talk
Fabulous experience and not too gruelling. Saw our country at its best for someone who does not walk very far.

A tantalising taster of all that Brum has to offer
Incredibly informative tour guide Dee with plenty of enthusiasm and humour! Due to heavy rain towards the end (out with her control) we had to have the shorter explanations but this only means our appetites have been whetted and we need to return to the city. Dee is obviously very proud of her home town and this is why she is in the best job :-)

    Good walk
Great guide Peter, enjoyed the sights and his knowledge of Birmingham. A good way to see some of the history and not too long.

The tour was filled with lots of history and fun facts about Birmingham. The guide was easy to talk to and made it quite easy to converse about any questions related or not related to Birmingham.
The back stories about Birmingham were very fascinating and made it clear that Birmingham has a very diverse history and interesting history, which is reflected in the varying Architectural building styles littered around Birmingham City Center.
Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a good back story about Birmingham's history and development through the years

Pete met a small group of us on a blustery morning in Cathedral Square (Birmingham Cathedral/St. Philip’s). In the hour-and-a-half tour, he conveyed the history of various industries and trades in the developing city and showed us notable sites in the business district, canal area and Victoria, Chamberlain and Centenary Squares. It was a good introduction to Birmingham.

Thanks so much for the tour! Our guide was Arthur and he was full of information and enthusiasm, he is clearly very proud of his city. The tour was just the right length, went through the city’s main squares and was a great way to get my bearings and learn about the industrial heritage of the city, as well as some of its famous characters. Definitely recommend the tour, especially if you’re spending a few days here.

This tour is not a Brummagem - Pete, your guide will explain what that means. What a great walk through the heart of the city - Pete was an excellent guide, and did a great job making sure everyone in the tour group of 13 people could hear him. Great history, and wonderful stories about Birmingham!

Our guide, Dee, gave us a fantastic overview of Birmingham through the ages. The tour lasts an hour and a half, and it's a leisurely amble through the streets, so very relaxed. You'll take in a lot of the main sights of the city, and the tour is also a good opportunity to get your bearings, so I'd recommend taking it as soon as you can after you arrive.

Carlos, our guide was very knowledgeable about Birmingham and the history of Birmingham. We were a mixed group of 7 and the tour was around 1,5 hours.
Carlos showed us the highlights of Birmingham center and gave us a condensed history of its past and greatest times.
We can recommend this walking tour to anyone wanting to know a bit more about Birmingham and see how the city centre has evolved.

We had a great experience! The guide, Arthur, is a lot of fun, very well informed and clearly cares a lot about the city and its history.

There were nine of us, from Iceland, and we all enjoyed the tour tremendously. Would definitely recommend!

Pete was great, very knowledgeable and took time to speak to everyone in our large group. We are from Shropshire and wanted to learn more about our nearest big city. There were 19 in the group from all over the world, it felt like we were all able to chat together and learn from other’s experiences.
Pete we got to the Wellington pub on the Saturday night, we loved the atmosphere, better than all the wild bars.
I still need to get to the library rooftop though as we did not make it yesterday and it is closed for Easter today. I’ll add it to our next trip.
We have loved staying in Birmingham. Staying in the Mailbox area was easy for access and parking in the city, as well as being near the canals and easy walking distances to everything. We have seen areas you don’t see when just coming to shop in the bullring.
Booked to come back to see Jools Holland in December and will make a weekend of it again.
Thank you for showing us your great city and good luck with the tours throughout the summer.

Were really looking forward to this walk, went on a previous one and it was brilliant! Was our wedding anniversary so booked the walk especially, as we don’t live in Birmingham also booked overnight accommodation. We had an email the day before at 10am saying don’t forget your booked walk followed by at 10 03am an email to say it had been cancelled. We were very disappointed as was looking forward to the walk and also left us with accommodation we had to pay for as couldn’t cancel so late in the day. Dosent encourage us to book another walk as feel let down at the last minute and left with accommodation we didn’t really need!

Hi Colin, we are so sorry that you felt let down by our cancellation - unfortunately our guide had a family emergency that morning so wasn't available to take the tour, hence the late cancellation. We hope you still had a nice visit to Birmingham for your anniversary.

Despite the rain, enjoyed our walk round. First time we’ve actually stayed in Birmingham and it gave us an essence of the history of the city and its surrounds.
I just wish I was younger and could have walked a bit faster, but all well !
