      Wonderful tour host!
What a fantastic tour of Leeds. Sarah was so knowledgeable and informative and made everything fun! Two hours went much too fast! It was the little titbits of information i.e. the owls etc that gave the tour its colour. Leeds is a lovely vibrant place!

      A must
Very interesting and informative. We had never been to Leeds before. We were staying over in Leeds to see New Order at the Arena. The tour left us more knowledgable and impressed with the City as well. Myself and teenage son really enjoyed the tour.

Wonderful, informative tour. Our tour guide was lovely, easy going but knowledgeable and there was just the right level of detail. Leeds has a fascinating history and lots of amazing buildings, it really made our weekend to have that context.

Fascinating introduction to the history of Leeds
As a newcomer to Leeds we booked this walking tour on our first morning in the city. It was a great introduction to the city - taking us around the city centre and explaining the history of the city as well as special details we would not have noticed or known about without an experienced guide. Tour was small which meant we could ask lots of questions. Appropriate social distancing measures in place - if you are attending remember to bring a mask as you get some great extras e.g. Corn Exchange

      Enthusiastic guide and very informative
Claire was super, really enthusiastic and passionate about Leeds. I am from the local area and have visited Leeds many times, however there is so much I didn’t know about Leeds. It is was an informative walk around, a great mixture between history and little stories that really helped to bring the character of Leeds alive. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Leeds.

      Excellent
Sarah our guide was so enthusiastic and informative. £10 well spent. We were given a great insight into the history and development of the city. She pointed out minutiae and beauty that we had not noticed. This tour has certainly enhanced our visit to Leeds and it’s gracious buildings.

Our guide, Jenny, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic ensuring she gave us as much information about the history of the city. Despite the weather being very cold, the time went very quickly.

There are quite a few surprises about things that began in Leeds, things we certainly didn’t realise but you will need to take the tour to find out more details.

    Would recommend without hesitation

We were lucky enough to be the only people on this particular tour. Sarah was extremely knowledgable about the history of Leeds, talking us through the key events in the development of Leeds as a settlement, town and then city. Some very impressive architecture was covered in the tour, both civic and industrial.

Really enjoyed this tour! We were worried that it might be a bit dry, but not at all. Sarah really set the city's history in context in a clear and interesting way, and was full of quirky facts and fascinating info, without overloading us with too much history.
Also, having already spent 2 days in Leeds we thought we'd seen most of the interesting bits already and this would be a bit of a 're-run', but it turns out that we had actually missed a lot.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Leeds :-)

The weather wasn’t kind but Sarah was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Leeds she made it come alive so we didn’t think about the rain. Sarah was excellent at keeping the group together and engaged whatever the age group. So don’t worry about the weather, take a brolly and learn something new!

Did the tour with Sarah on 8th October. Despite just getting over a cold she was very enthusiastic and knowledgable. She kept the tour lively and interesting mixing the history of the city with tips on shopping, eating and places to see. She clwarly went the extra mile using a tablet to show us all pictures of the city in the past to compare it to what we could see today. We also took her recommendation to take the short water taxi to Leeds Armoury which, as she said, was only £1. Great way to be introduced to the city and very good value. Thank you Sarah and hope you do get to Dublin one day!

Great orientation to the city on our first day of a short holiday. Well worth doing as we saw some places such as the Corn Exchange that we wouldn't have found on our own. Our guide Sarah was professional, knowledgeable, and provided a fascinating history of this lovely city. She pointed out details on the construction of buildings that added so much to my appreciation of the beautiful and varied architecture.

Fantastic tour. Sarah our guide was very knowledgable and friendly, a great way to see a city when you’re limited on time. No way would we have been able to see half of what we saw if we were using a guide book alone. Thank you Sarah!

We had been in Leeds 4 days when we went on the tour. It was absolutely wonderful to hear the history not only of the city of Leeds but of all the buildings we had looked at and wondered at. Sarah put an identity on these landmarks.
She has an easy way of giving information and does it with wit too.
Thanks to her tour it taught us to think how our towns and city have developed around the country.
