Incredible experience - really enjoyed learning more about Leeds and spotting features we wouldn’t normally see. The browser app was really easy to use and worked smoothly on mobile data the whole time. The addition of historic pictures and maps in the app made the whole experience more interactive. Absolutely worth the money (£20) and would do again in a different city.
Only points to mention:
- Whilst the suggested time is around 2 hours, it took us a lot longer than that, factoring in rest stops, etc. A definite positive, but one to keep in mind!
- Start and end location is around the Art Gallery. This is currently the site of an ongoing Palestinian protest - and when we went, the site of one of the riots - and as a result, one of the first clues was impossible to find and the last few were inaccessible due to the riots.
Overall, really enjoyed the experience and would recommend!
Only points to mention:

Just done a virtual treasure hunt in Leeds. Some of the clues were tricky some easy, but we had a great time exploring parts of the city we would never have seen before. Great way to spend a couple of hours. And the rain didn’t put us off.

Loved the game! It was challenging yet engaging. Probably not the best doing the more city centre parts on a sunny Saturday but we got to see all the sights (artefacts and people! 😆)
Having just moved to the city, it was a great way to encourage us to get out and explore. We booked a dinner for when the hunt ended and it made for a lovely day.

I I actually did this as a solo. had to contact the organizers to arrange it and it might be much more fun with a group. But it works well and I was interested in a guided tour around leeds-rather than just wandering aimlessly for three or four hours. because it is self-run,
you can pop into anything along the way that takes your fantasy.

We did the treasure hunt as a team activity & enjoyed an interesting afternoon wandering around Leeds. The clues were just challenging enough to keep us on our toes (we did ask for a few clues along the way). We would do another treasure hunt in the future :)

We decided to visit Leeds for the first time and embarked on a treasure hunt. We’ve learned a lot about the city and really enjoyed it. With a sidetrack visit to Armouries museum (not in the hunt) and dinner, we’ve spent all day completing it. Great way to explore new city.

This was a fun way of discovering Leeds. There were clever riddles, lots of interesting information and helpful hints if we got stuck! We completed the treasure hunt in four hours with a leisurely lunch but you could take less time or longer if you wished. I’ve lived in Leeds for 60 years and I saw and learned loads of things that I didn’t know before. I’d fully recommend.

Loved this treasure hunt , clues were perfectly pitched. Fun for kids and adults with nice drinks stops factored in.
It took just the right amount of time also , had a fab day and it was good exercise.

It was really fun, we enjoyed every clue and information. WhatsApp like gameplay was also enjoyable. Can only criticise two points, the last clue was not there, no matter where we look we were unable to locate it, and hints were useless. It was a little upsetting as it was the final of the game. We also wish that there were more clues, 14 wasn’t enough.
But, in the end, we would do it all over again. Had a nice walk, see beautiful buildings and learned about the history. If you don’t have any plans, or don’t know where to go in Leeds, or just for fun, definitely worth to try.

I'm so glad you had a fun time on Treasure Hunt Leeds. I'm sorry to hear that something was up at the end for you. That sounds a bit frustrating! We monitor the games closely and modify them if we hear see that a clue is inaccessible. That said, I can see other games found that last clue ok, which sounds strange. Perhaps there was something obstructing it temporarily while you were playing.
Anyhow, great to hear you enjoyed the walk and learning a bit more about the city.

The treasure hunt gave us a good flavour of what Leeds has to offer. The clues were a good level and we had lots of fun. It takes in all the sites and you don't have too far to walk either plus there's plenty of time to stop and have food/drinks.
