      Brilliant 8th birthday party
Dr Chocs provided a fantastic experience for my daughter's 8th birthday party. The kids loved making and decorating their own chocolate products and the staff were absolutely lovely. The chocolate is top quality and they package it up beautifully for them to take home. For kids who love chocolate and being creative, this is a superb party choice.

      Honest workshop review
I’m writing to review my experience at the Halloween chocolate making workshop I visited today, I just wanted to say what a lovely session it was for me and my little boy who is 5. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Lewis was a really brilliant host and was very friendly and informative, we both really loved the session. My son is quite shy but Lewis put him at ease straight away and the whole session was fun and engaging and we ended up with some delicious chocolate at the end of it. If you’re thinking of booking the workshop you really should, thank you !

      Birthday Party Dr Chocs
We just celebrated our daughters 7th birthday at Dr Chocs with a halloween workshop. We had 12 kids who all had an amazing time making halloween chocs. The staff were great with the kids telling jokes and making it all an enjoyable experience for all. After the work shop we were allowed use of the upstairs room for party food, cake & dancing. Would highly recommend Dr Chocs x

Great venue and great hot chocolate!
We celebrated at daughters 10th birthday at Dr Chocs on Saturday and we all had an excellent time. Our daughter had four friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly, polite and showed a real desire to make it a great occasion. Us adults all thought the hot chocolate was one of the best we have had! Well done to all. It is a great venue which should be supported.

      Not great and expensive
We had pre-booked the mother & child workshop for 4.30pm, but I think due to staff shortages they were running late and it was complete chaos. The shop is very small and people have to walk through the workshop area to get to the seating area out of the back. As there is only about 1 metre width for you to stand, it does mean that you have to move out of the way for them to pass. There are no areas to wash your hands and we were instructed to use hand sanitizer. The disposable hair capes are reused, which seems strange. The workshops was only 30 mins long, but you feel rushed. Even with them running late, they were still taking bookings for workshops within the next hour. On the positive side, the young girls running the shop, workshops and cafe all worked hard and stayed cheerful throughout. I would say they need more staff, but I’m not sure where they would have fitted. It wasn’t cheap @ £29.95 per person, so just shy of £60 for the two of us. You do get 3 bars of chocolate (postcard size), 3 Truffles and a hot chocolate stick each.

Make sure you know what you’re doing otherwise you could end up paying more.
The actual chocolate workshop is amazing, the lady who ran our workshop was so lovely and was really good with the kids. There were lots of toppings to choose from for decoration. The problem we had was with a case of miscommunication. We booked on line and when in the workshop it was full so a little bit on the noisy side and the lady was on the other side of the room so I didn’t hear what she said about the workshop we were doing. We did our chocolate bars and then She gave us some trays with some fruit and to dip. We’ve never been before and thought everyone would know what we were doing and guide us so thought this is what we were suppose to do so carried on. It was then that it all got a bit awkward I noticed that there was a bit of an atmosphere and then a man was coming in and getting angry and then the lady running the workshop told us that was our experience over. We then left the workshop to be told by the man (maybe the owner) that we shouldn’t have done the fruit dipping and as a result he would like us to pay for it. Normally an extra cost on top of what I already paid of £16 per person but he would charge us £10 per person. So £50 for the 5 of us. Now I’m sure if we said no we weren’t going to pay there wasn’t much he could of done but as I said it was awkward and he really did make it feel like it’s our fault and we’re not awful people so we paid the extra £50. My kids won’t eat the fruit so this isn’t really something I wouldn’t have choose to pay for. Now I’m sure this is slightly my fault too as I should have read everything and checked everything to know exactly what we were doing (it just says the name of the workshop on the email not details, so would need to read on website) but I assumed we would have been guided as it was all new to us. Such a shame as the experience could have been so lovely but the awkwardness made it not so great for us. I run a days out blog so love to review days out but never quite had this experience before. Shame as would have loved to recommend to our followers. So our advice, if it’s busy make sure you know exactly what you are there to do as the person leading you won’t and you may end up having to pay more.

      Perfect service, perfect chocolate
Every year I get my tailored made chocolate that is unique and of really high quality for my partner. The last couple of years I have bought at Dr Chocs as the customer service and quality of chocolate is superb. I am fussy and look for the perfect gift and Dr Chocs provides, this year Arianna was fantastic ensuring my order was exactly what I asked for, reassuring that the details were all correct and the manager at Dr Chocs deserves praise for his skills as a chocolatier and hiring such great staff

A super fun afternoon for the choc lover
Is the greatest amount of fun especially on a rainy. afternoon. We absolutely loved the chocolate workshop and came away with some really wonderfully bizarre concoctions that both my wife and I came up with. I cannot recommend this workshop enough for the friendly operators and the excellent tuition which took us expertly from from cocoa bean to finished bar.

First of all, I need to say the owner was lovely. The chocolate is also delicious and palm oil free. The owner also bought us a few bits of chocolate to try when drinking our hot choc as we told him we'd not tried any during the making. Plus the staff checked a couple of times to see if there were any allergies, and we did enjoy it, but....

The girl who did our workshop was pleasant enough, but not particularly engaged (we had a chance to compare when another couple started and the woman they had was much more engaging, encouraging them to taste, talking to them about the type of chocolate which we had none of).

We started by making the shells for our bonbons, just 3 each which was a surprise as you get given a whole tray mould. We then moved on to making our 3 bars, where you 2/3 filled the mould (not to the top as in the pics online) with white/dark/milk chocolate and are left to decorate them as you like (no help given with combos etc. I did ask if I could make a half n half bar, but there was an emphatic no (despite half n half and marbled bars being mentioned on the website). We then filled and finished our bon bons. Next was dipping 2 truffles and 2 bits of fruit (a choice would have been nice) in a tiny cup. A little more choc would have helped as you couldn't fully dip the truffle.

The above too just around 30 mins, not the advertised hour. We went up for a hot drink whilst our chocolate set. I think it needs to be made clearer you're not doing the chocolate making for an hour.

We went to collect our chocolate and asked about the goody bag that was listed on Groupon, but apparently that's a mistake on Groupons part.

We didn't want to fuss as it was my daughter's birthday. We did enjoy it, but it just felt rushed and we were in and out pretty quickly. With a few tweaks and a bit more clarity about what to expect this could be an excellent activity.

A great Christmas present for a friend. We arrived over an hour early but were accommodated by the incredibly friendly staff. The workshop was a lot of fun, just the two of us and our instructor. We enjoyed a lovely hot chocolate in the cafe upstairs whilst waiting for our creations to cool and be packaged up for us. My only - minor - criticism would be that the three chocolate bars were all put into one cellophane package whereas when I did a similar workshop elsewhere, each bar was packaged separately so no potential cross contamination.

Hi Darsh. Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. Glad that you enjoyed it. We just try to reduce the use of plastics, although our bags are recyclable. We package each person's 3 bars in a bag, so there should be no cross-contamination with anyone else's bar if that makes sense!

We booked the chocolatier workshop through Groupon and had a great time. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was nice and quiet. The staff were lovely and very knowledgable. We made three bars, bonbons, covered truffles, ate samples and drank hot chocolate! A great afternoon!

The chocolatier factory was simply amazing, the chocolate was so rich in flavour and a reasonable prize, it was a unique and sensationally experience. They also have amazing customer service we were stuck in Windsor and they helped us unconditionally. We are planning on booking it for my brothers birthday party and would highly recommended it to anyone who wants great hospitality and amazing chocolate. We made 3 chocolate bars with unlimited topping so if your in the area please take a look for yourself.

Today my friend and I did the chocolatier course and we had such good fun, the gentleman who ran the course was so
welcoming and made it so enjoyable
Lots of different toppings and spices to put on your 3 chocolate bars and we made 3 moulded truffle chocolates, dipped dried mango in chocolate and made truffles on a stick.
Whilst the chocolate was setting and being packaged we had a lovely creamy hot chocolate and cookie in the garden area.
A real fun filled hour with such friendly staff , definitely go along and enjoy

Had a gorgeous hour making several chocolates and bars with my ten year old son. It was just lovely doing something a little different in the hart of Windsor with him 1-2-1. Life can be so busy and we normally tag along to days out with family and friends, so just nice being the two of us. The lady who took our work shop was really informative and went at our pace . Admittedly it was a little pricy so will only be a one off for us but , we took home two lovely bags full of treats so I really can not moan . . Thank you x x

We had a great time at Dr Chocs Windsor Chocolate Factory. My kids were entranced with the sights and smells of the chocolate factory and couldn’t believe it when told they needed to try toppings before choosing (chocolate buttons, raisins, almonds, coconut, you name it). Staff were amazing, explaining everything carefully without dampening the fun. Can’t recommend it highly enough

We - group of 6 girls - booked an 1 hour workshop to celebrate my sister's soon to come baby, we had an absolutely amazing fun time. So much fun making our own chocolates and trying all the different ingredients. Staff was very informative and help full !!
After finishing the workshop we sat in their back yard garden for hot drinks before we head off for lunch.
Loved the individual wrapped gift bags with our creations we could take home.
Would definitely recommend this experience and come back again:)

    Thank you !!

Great fun and you get to take away a goody bag of all the chocolates you have made. We went as two adults and two kids. The workshop included making bars (with flavours and fruit/nuts), dipped fruit, truffles and a hot chocolate stick. The chocolate itself is also good quality. Would recommend.
