- 388marvint0 contributionsAmazing experience for young & oldLoved the experience. Really nice staff and a cosy and lovely atmosphere. Made tons of different type of chocolate with lots of ingredients to choose from. Really good value for money and all chocolates tasted deliciousWritten 28 August 2024
- cherylmO1897YY0 contributionsA little piece of heaven! What a gem! We went before and after a trip to the theatre. There is a delightful little garden at the back where we had great coffee and delicious ice creams. The staff were lovely. It was difficult to choose from their many flavours, but I bought some of their wonderful spicy chocolate, which went far too quickly. I’m going to bring my granddaughters to have a go at making their own chocolate.Written 4 August 2024
- robertevans480 contributionsnot to my tastewhen we walked into the shop it looked super ,and i was looking forward to it a bit more, we were told to go upstairs so we did and waited ,and waited ,and waited, after about 15 minutes the man came up with a tray with a map with little dishes on with piesec of chocolate in he explained where each dish was from and told us what was in them some with chilli and others with salt, you get the idea and he said we got a drink my wife had a tea, i chose a warm milk shake ,he asked what was my choice i told him to suprise me as im a chef i was up for a challange he asked if i minded chilly and cinnamon yes i said bring it on,when the drinks came back i was ready for a suprise that didnt happen then after our drinks we sat and waited another twenty minuetes for some one to tell us what to do next so i went down and asked he said it was over and he hoped we had enjoyed it no i told him it was dissapointing and i was expecting more ,oh he said and that was it so i would not recomend it i=to our friends or anyone elseWritten 15 June 2024

- laurakU7469OX0 contributionsBrilliant 8th birthday partyDr Chocs provided a fantastic experience for my daughter's 8th birthday party. The kids loved making and decorating their own chocolate products and the staff were absolutely lovely. The chocolate is top quality and they package it up beautifully for them to take home. For kids who love chocolate and being creative, this is a superb party choice.Written 17 December 2023
- James N0 contributionsHonest workshop reviewI’m writing to review my experience at the Halloween chocolate making workshop I visited today, I just wanted to say what a lovely session it was for me and my little boy who is 5. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Lewis was a really brilliant host and was very friendly and informative, we both really loved the session. My son is quite shy but Lewis put him at ease straight away and the whole session was fun and engaging and we ended up with some delicious chocolate at the end of it. If you’re thinking of booking the workshop you really should, thank you !Written 31 October 2023
- 35Sam20 contributionsGreat funGreat fun and you get to take away a goody bag of all the chocolates you have made. We went as two adults and two kids. The workshop included making bars (with flavours and fruit/nuts), dipped fruit, truffles and a hot chocolate stick. The chocolate itself is also good quality. Would recommend.Written 30 October 2023
- Guide677964724650 contributionsBirthday Party Dr ChocsWe just celebrated our daughters 7th birthday at Dr Chocs with a halloween workshop. We had 12 kids who all had an amazing time making halloween chocs. The staff were great with the kids telling jokes and making it all an enjoyable experience for all. After the work shop we were allowed use of the upstairs room for party food, cake & dancing. Would highly recommend Dr Chocs xWritten 29 October 2023
- 613sophies0 contributionsLovely hour in the heart of Windsor xxHad a gorgeous hour making several chocolates and bars with my ten year old son. It was just lovely doing something a little different in the hart of Windsor with him 1-2-1. Life can be so busy and we normally tag along to days out with family and friends, so just nice being the two of us. The lady who took our work shop was really informative and went at our pace . Admittedly it was a little pricy so will only be a one off for us but , we took home two lovely bags full of treats so I really can not moan . . Thank you x xWritten 13 October 2023
- Huw2104650 contributionsGreat venue and great hot chocolate! We celebrated at daughters 10th birthday at Dr Chocs on Saturday and we all had an excellent time. Our daughter had four friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly, polite and showed a real desire to make it a great occasion. Us adults all thought the hot chocolate was one of the best we have had! Well done to all. It is a great venue which should be supported.Written 8 October 2023
- salice440 contributionsAwesome workshop, amazing chocolate, attentive staffMy friends organised this event as part of a surprise birthday weekend away. It was so much fun! Lovely chocolate and really efficient staff running the workshop. We felt so welcome and loved every minute of our experience!Written 19 September 2023
- AlisonS2010 contributionsNot great and expensiveWe had pre-booked the mother & child workshop for 4.30pm, but I think due to staff shortages they were running late and it was complete chaos. The shop is very small and people have to walk through the workshop area to get to the seating area out of the back. As there is only about 1 metre width for you to stand, it does mean that you have to move out of the way for them to pass. There are no areas to wash your hands and we were instructed to use hand sanitizer. The disposable hair capes are reused, which seems strange. The workshops was only 30 mins long, but you feel rushed. Even with them running late, they were still taking bookings for workshops within the next hour. On the positive side, the young girls running the shop, workshops and cafe all worked hard and stayed cheerful throughout. I would say they need more staff, but I’m not sure where they would have fitted. It wasn’t cheap @ £29.95 per person, so just shy of £60 for the two of us. You do get 3 bars of chocolate (postcard size), 3 Truffles and a hot chocolate stick each.Written 11 August 2023
- conniesA9426WT0 contributionsSimply Amazing Thank YouThe chocolatier factory was simply amazing, the chocolate was so rich in flavour and a reasonable prize, it was a unique and sensationally experience. They also have amazing customer service we were stuck in Windsor and they helped us unconditionally. We are planning on booking it for my brothers birthday party and would highly recommended it to anyone who wants great hospitality and amazing chocolate. We made 3 chocolate bars with unlimited topping so if your in the area please take a look for yourself.Written 21 July 2023
- sngyork0 contributionsEmbrace it, have fun and love itWhat a great place to visit and do the workshop. We had no idea what we were going to do other than create some chocolate! What a great experience, the guys who looked after us were fantastic; the knew their stuff and guided us. They focused on the desire of the customer. Whilst we were there, a lady and her two daughters were setting up a party and they did not suffer any lack of attention because we were there; the guys expertly divided their time between us and them. Having tried the chocolate since we got home, it was delicious.Written 21 May 2023
- Amanda T0 contributionsDisappointed ☹️Didn’t do a workshop used the cafe and then brought chocolate the cafe was lovely friendly staff we then brought chocolate to take home the chocolate was grainy and bitty it wasn’t smooth and wasn’t pleasant to eat but the King Charles bars were very nice sorry was so disappointedWritten 20 May 2023

We came for a chocolate workshop led by Kinga and what a treat a delight it was. Kinga was kind and welcoming from the minute we walked into the shop. My son was made to feel very at ease and went happily into the kitchen on his own for the workshop. The process was well explained, lots of really good quality chocolate for the children to make with all tastes catered for. My son had a delightful time making his bars and putting his toppings on. While he waited for the chocolate to set he was able to enjoy an ice-cream that is made on site, this was delicious. There is a lovely outside seating area and upstairs if weather not as good as when we came. Someone had waffles while we were waiting and they looked amazing, will definitely be back to sample them next time. Highly recommend a visit.

Is the greatest amount of fun especially on a rainy. afternoon. We absolutely loved the chocolate workshop and came away with some really wonderfully bizarre concoctions that both my wife and I came up with. I cannot recommend this workshop enough for the friendly operators and the excellent tuition which took us expertly from from cocoa bean to finished bar.

Booked the 30 minute mini chocolatier workshop for 4 of us via Trip Advisor.
It was supposed to be a private session but when we arrived they also had two people for an express workshop at the same time.
It was cramped and impossible to social distance in the small workshop.
Really disappointing experience. Had I known they would add two people to our session I would not have booked. Made it really hard for our family to relax and enjoy the session.

Hi Margo
We really apologise for how you felt. We have 2 tables in the factory as you might have noticed and technically (according to hospitality sector guidelines), can serve a group of 6 on each. But as the space is limited, we are taking only 6 bookings at any time and making wearing masks mandatory for anyone above 11 years. The Govt guidelines clearly say that if it is impossible to maintain social distance (like in an office, you can wear masks). We think you were given a full experience with your own Mini Chocolatier experience as the other 2 were only Express and would have finished in 15 min. We still apologise and hope you understand that it is half-term and we are trying our best to keep everyone safe while making it enjoyable for everyone.

I visited the Dr Chocs with my wife and daughter in December. We hadn't pre-booked but they were able to accommodate us after a short wait. My wife and I enjoyed myriad of toppings for added flavorings with ginger on extra dark chocolate being my favorite. My daughter loved making the chocolate bon bons. The workshop was carried out by Juan who is very knowledgeable.
We are a family of chocolate lovers and the workshop capped a great day out in Windsor.
