Little Huwie was amazing. For such a young guy, he is a great tour guide. It was a great experience with fantastic views, learning local history and learning a few new skills. Highly recommended

Great afternoon canoeing the aquaduct. Harry was an excellent guide who made us feel at ease on the water. The weather was great and the waterways weren't busy at all.

We had the best afternoon canoeing along the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct with Hugh (Hughie) as our tour guide. It was a fun new experience for us both with beautiful views and Hughie made it even better with funny games to bring the group together. We’d both definitely love to do it again and will book more things in through Bearded Men adventures. Time keeping was great and everything was well organised. Thank you again ✨

Our tour guide, Mike, made us all feel welcome and relaxed (having never canoe'ed in this century!). My wife and I joined four other couples in two-person canoes to paddle along a really lovely winding route along the canal to and from the aqueduct. Clear instructions and guidance was given to ensure as safe and as enjoyable a journey was possible. The aqueduct itself and the surrounding views were amazing and topped off a fantastic couple of hours. We will definitely be booking one/some of Bearded Men Adventures other activities.

Going over the aqueduct was brilliant and amazing views either side. I went with my husband and another couple. We would all recommend.

Little Hugh was great taking us up the canal and across the aqueduct, all in all about 2 hours of canoeing 🛶 beautiful day for it and would do more activities with bearded men adventures!

Despite it being cold, we had a really memorable experience. I took my 11 year old and the team were so considerate of making sure he was safe and as comfortable as possible. We had Sol and Ben as our leaders and they were incredibly cautious and professional throughout whilst making sure we had lots of fun. So grateful to them and everyone there. Would highly recommend, especially with kids!!
