Eugene was a fantastic guide and delivered a really great walking tour. The tour was interesting and informative. It covered a wide range of subjects from history, the Welsh language, Welsh culture and food. I’d thoroughly recommend!

Eugene was friendly, confident and very knowledgable about Cardiff. I got to know the history, culture and geography of Cardiff city centre with some gems along the way. Also got some tips on places to eat afterwards. Advertised as “free”, but gratuities (“whatever you think appropriate”) are appreciated. There was a local citizen on our tour who thoroughly enjoyed learning more about his home city!

Really enjoyed the tour. Very interesting and got to see some of the main sites. Eugene was very knowledgeable and managed the large group on half marathon weekend well. Was helpful to stop and regroup when providing information rather than trying to pass it on as we walked. Definitely recommended. Thank you.

Interesting tour with ‘I never knew that moments’ lasted a couple of hours. Castle park was my favourite bit. Not sure asking where everyone was from was needed & also mentioning something then saying we’ll talk about that in a bit all the time was slightly annoying 😂. Thanks anyway, would definitely recommend

Great tour and guide. Whether you are in town for a short a long time, it's a great way to start your trip. You will learn about the city and get ideas of what to do during your stay.

We really enjoyed the free walking tour. The guide (Eugene) turned up at the time he said he would and was really informative and friendly. Two hours was just about right and there were a few stops where there was the option for some of the tou party to sit down (if they wanted). I would recommend getting the walking tour in early in your stay, as it really helps you to find your way around the city.

The tour was brilliant and Eugene made it so relaxed and chill. I didn't feel the time at all. Would really recommend it. :)

Eugene is a terrific tour guide, knowledgeable, amiable, and able to adjust his pace to the group. We learned a lot about Cardiff and had a great time. The fact that the tour is free, except for the well-deserved tips he collects at the end, make this the best deal in Cardiff, and maybe Wales. I can't recommend him more highly!

I had booked a city tour in the spring, that I had to cancel. Eugene was kind enough to message me periodically to let me know that he was hoping to run jt during the summer months, and checked with me that the date he was hoping to do it would suit myself and my friends. Talk about going above and beyond! We booked for the Cardiff Arcade & Indoor Market Tour, which was very interesting and full of facts. Eugene took the time to speak with each of us in turn, remembering each of our names, which made it feel we were being guided by an old friend. He is a lovely man, who obviously loves what he does. Myself and my friends would highly recommend and will definitely be booking another of his tours again, soon.

Me and my daughter went on the city group tour today. Eugene was an excellent guide, he walked at a relative slow pace so everyone could keep up and even phoned a guest who dropped out, to check on their wellbeing. He interacted with all nationalities and made everyone feel welcome. Totally recommend.
