this was an amazing experience! The museum was fantastic! full of really interesting facts about the time leading up to titanic right through to the sinking and beyond. By far my favourite was the final exhibit which was incredible and i stood at the top of the stairs just watching it unfold in total awe! amazing!! i have to also mention the staff… every single member of staff from the customer service desk, all through the exhibit, in the shop and in the coffee shop were fabulous! polite courteous and obviously very proud to work there they are assets to you and need to be commended for their attitude and customer service. thanks to you all!

      Amazing festive afternoon tea
Just amazing from start to finish. Very attentive staff, well organized, gorgeous place. They had a kids station that my kids loved it. I didn’t like a couple of the savory options but that is down to personal taste, not the quality of the food offered. I’m planning to go back next year if they offer the experience, totally worth it!

      Great Titanic Museum
My husband and I visited here on a quiet Thursday afternoon. We arrived 15 minutes after our scheduled pre-booked time but had no issues getting in. I've been to previous Titanic museums, but this one is definitely my favorite that I've been to. Other museums seem mostly focused on the passengers and the wreck while this one begins with the history of Belfast and how the Titanic began, including information Thomas Andrews and the shipbuilding. After the history, you learn about the Titanics' first voyage in 1911 out of Belfast. Then you finally dive into the passengers and the wreck. It was very well laid out. This museum had a lot of great photos and some artificats, such as one of six life jackets remaining. Some interesting interactives as well here, including a ride. There is a giftshop and cafe. The outside looks marvelous.

      World Class Interactive Museum
Titanic Belfast is one of the best museums I have ever experienced. As you approach the museum, you will be amazed at the outside structure, built to the exact height of the Titanic ship. The Titanic experience museum tour can be done on your own with the supplied audio guides. The museum has many modern, interactive exhibits along the way, including a "carriage ride" where you can see what it was like as the famous ship was being built in the Belfast shipyard. Try and budget at least 3-4 hours so you can really soak in and enjoy this incredible attraction. The gift shop is fantastic as well, so plan to bring home some special souvenirs from Titanic Belfast!

      Visually impaired
Great museum , if you are a titanic enthusiast then this is a fabulous day out for you ….we had heard great reviews so decided to make the trip up north take in the museum and go shopping after as a family day out ….. However , if you are visually impaired I would only recommend it if you have someone to help lead you , I have RP and I’m immensely impaired in dark settings , with low lights I can manage once I have someone with me to lead me if need be , there was one section I think it was after the section where they have a big wall with a list of all the survivors and perishers names you have to go down a few staircase’s, I can manage stairs if they are illuminated slightly and have the safety fluorescent strips at the edge of each step but one staircase was completely in darkness and the black strips at the edge of each step were not visible to me to the point I’d to be led down and at the bottom a male staff member clearly saw I was having difficulty and led me to the lift and advised me to use that to take me down to the next level which I was grateful for ….. I understand that they want to create an ambience and let people feel the atmosphere that may have existed on the boat at that time but maybe take into consideration visually impaired people that are essentially blind in the dark …. Maybe just a few small spotlights with a low wattage can make all the difference on those dark staircases …. Other than that it’s a great place and highly recommend for a day out .

Very informative and emotional. You’d have to be made of ice not to have empathy with the victims and the workers.
Well worth a visit One of the best ways possible to spend a rainy day in Ireland. Allow at least 2 hours to spend on the walk around. The standard of displays are as good as it gets. And everything works no out of order notices or jumpy media. The only complaint it the poor signage for parking, by luck alone we found the last spot in the large unmarked car park just past the centre. That was at 11 mid week on what appeared to be a fairly quiet day. Information on bus routs from the city centre on their website would be of great benefit.

      Fantastic experience
I was in Belfast on business and had a spare morning to fill. I’m really glad I visited what an amazing exhibition. The whole experience is well laid out with lots of different way of presenting the information. It conveys the story so well to the tragic unfortunate end which I found very moving. All the staff were courteous and informative. A must see if your in Belfast.

      A MUST GOING PLACE
Step into a world beyond the screen, where the story of the Titanic comes alive. After a captivating two-hour tour of the museum, you'll find yourself completely immersed, leaving behind any fleeting memories of the movie. The exhibits are stunning, the staff is incredibly courteous, and the storytelling is unparalleled, making history feel personal and profound. Discover the real Titanic: a tale of ambition, tragedy, and human spirit. This is a must-visit experience that you won't want to miss!

      Wonderful exhibit with fascinating information
This is an amazing attraction. The history behind the Titanic is fascinating. Because of our tour, we were only allowed to spend two hours here. I wish I had 5-6 hours here because the galleries offer so much information. They have a nice gift shop also.

The Outdoor Titanic Tour was FABULOUS!
The tour given by Pip was beyond words. He took us on an emotional journey, not just a story. He made us understand that the Titanic wasn’t just a big ship, it was a dream in the order of the Space Shuttle. He gave us a very deep understanding of the world in which it was created and made the people come to life. The actual building of the museum is incredibly impressive and his tour helped me understand how much the city deserves such a beautiful memorial to their history.

      Outstanding Museum
I had read a lot great reviews about this place and it definitely lived up to its reputation. It was extremely comprehensive in its coverage of the Titanic. It was very well done with a variety of A/V exhibits. I was told that it would take about 2 ½ hours to tour the facility and they were right. The only issue I had was at the beginning for the exhibits about Belfast and the Industrial Revolution. I found it difficult to determine in which order you should see the exhibits. Other than that everything was perfect.

      Emotional Stories Told With Passion
This experience was truly amazing, not only does it tell the story of the Titanic but the people of Belfast. We also did the discovery tour and highly recommend it. Our tour guide Pip was perfect being a local guide and sharing his passion for not only for the Titanic but for the people of Belfast. Pips stories were emotional and heartbreaking telling of the people on board and those who built the ships. He was perfect and I'd love to do a tour again if he was the guide, I can't recommend him enough

A truly memorable experience! Me and my dad had the White Star Premium ticket, which includes the Discovery tour, SS Nomadic and the galleries in the main building.I would recommend this ticket as you get to hear and see all the building and surrounding areas, as you have the original drawing rooms across the way and the original slips where Titanic and Olympic were built. If you are interested in Titanic history, I would recommend getting there as early as possible as we needed more hours to do everything! The Discovery Tour was amazing and this was thanks to our amazing guide Rob, he is the most informative, helpful and cool guy. His knowledge was amazing and if your willing to listen, to learn the truth behind Titanic and her sister ship Olympic, it´s the best tour and more information that I have ever learnt! (And i´ve been to Florida, Vegas and Spain-Alicante exhibitions!)
If your looking for dug up artifacts, your gonna be disappointed, but that´s the point of Titanic Belfast. It is not an exhibition, its an experience. It gives you the back ground of Belfast, how the 3 Olympic Star liners were built, the people who built them, the passengers and crew who sailed in Titanic, the stories of the survivors and the deceased. There art artifacts, but they are for example; contracts of when Harland and Wolf were made and original pencil designs by the men who designed Titanic!
It´s a beautiful memorial to the people who were linked with the White Star line and the Belfast shipping yard with personal stories from all different travelers and workers. I would strongly recommend going to visit Titanic Belfast if your travelling to Belfast and visit with an open mind.
Be willing to learn, all you think you know about Titanic may not be true...

The Titanic museum is a must for anyone visiting Belfast.

Firstly the outside of the building is so impressive. The building is HUGE - it stands at 126 feet tall! The building is the same height as the hull of the Titanic ship - and thats without the funnels, they would add another 70 feet.

Benches are set out in the grounds, in the pattern of the morse code message that was sent on that fatal day. Plus both the Titanic and SS Normadic's outlines are etched on the floor, together with the map of the journey taken. It is definitely worth a stroll outside of the building so you can get the enormity of the ship.

The inside of the museum itself covers 4 floors, with gift shop, cafe and restaurant (the bistro was closed during our visit). We decided to buy audio guides, so we could go round at our own pace and were very pleased we did. At £4pp per guide they were well worth it and helped to bring the museum to life. It was from the audio guide that we learned more about the outside of the building - this could have easily been overlooked.
We spent about 5 hours looking around and really enjoyed it.

If you get the chance visit at night time too! The building looks magnificent, as is lit up. We stayed at the Titanic Hotel, which is literally next door to the museum. It was so lovely to see the museum over dinner or breakfast, it really is such a fabulous sight.

Oh and not forgetting the SS Normadic. This is a short walk from the museum and as your ticket covers this is worth going to have a look at the vessel used to move passengers onto the Titanic.

We spent more than 3 hours here & it was fantastic! We bought the ticket that gave you access to a self tour around the museum which we did first it’s about 1-2 hours; then a guided tour which was about 1-2 hours also with an amazing guide (I think Shelia?) a tour of Nomadic and then a family photo. We also stopped off for a drink at the Hotel Titanic which has to be one of the most lovely bars I’ve ever been to. Brilliant, go & visit!

We spent over 4 hours here doing the exhibition and tour of SS Nomadic. There is so much information starting with Belfast's industrial past, particularly Shipbuilding. The history of Harland and Wolf and then the story of Titantic, how she was built, launched, her tragic maiden voyage and its aftermath; and finally the underwater discovery of the wreck in 1985. Great if you like history, otherwise I guess you would skip through the galleries in about 1 hour just looking at the photos. For children the highlight will be the themed ride (Disneyland style) to experience working in the shipyard. The building itself is iconic and the corners designed to represent the bow of the ship, with triangular aluminium plates representing icebergs. Creates some lovely light effects when the sun is shining and is worth visiting for its architectural merit alone. SS Nomadic is also worth visiting - but be careful, last entry is at 4pm and they are ushering people out by 4.20pm to close at 4.30pm. This is included in the Titanic exhibition ticket, so plan your time to visit, particularly if you have a timed entry in the afternoon. We visited the exhibition at 12.30pm and only got around just in time to visit SS Nomadic at 4pm - but we were reading the stories and information as we went round.
Earlier in the day we did the separate 'Discovery' walking tour which is recommended as it gives you an overview of the site and its history. Jonny our guide was very knowledgeable.

Me & my friend planned to come here while staying Belfast visiting family. We decided to make a day of it and also have the Afternoon Tea as well as visit the museum.

We pre-booked both well in advance and are glad we did as it is very popular. We had the afternoon tea first and were really impressed with everything. All the staff we met were very professional, friendly and made us feel really comfortable and welcome. We were given a glass of Prosecco on arrival and were then offered Tea/Coffee. The waiters were more than happy to take photos and even offered without us asking which we really appreciated.

The afternoon tea consisted of Sandwiches, Scones and Cakes. A good selection of cakes and sandwiches, it didn't look like a lot of food but we hardly touched the cakes but they were boxed up and we took them home.

There was a live jazz band & singer playing in the background which was great and really set the scene. The grand staircase was amazing and very popular for photos!

We then headed to start the tour, we decided to get an Audio guide each and were glad we did as the information was really interesting and helped understand the tour. The tour was lengthy and well worth the money, started from the very beginning and there was a lot of background history on Belfast which was great.

The ride element was different and we both thought was pretty cool! We were in the tour for about 2 hours and both left impressed and full of knowledge!

Both the Tour & Afternoon Tea were great and we recommend both!

My boyfriend and I recently went to the Titan museum. I wasn’t as good as I’d hoped for but still worth going to. Fairly priced for what you get in my opinion. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We opted not to get the audio guide but I feel that was a mistake and I would recommend an audio guide. Worth going to non the less

A small amount of social distancing when entering the building and going into the exhibition. Once you are in the exhibition it is very overcrowded and there are long queues. A lot of people are not adhering to social distancing measures. Face masks are not compulsory for the amount of people inside the building. Limited staff to monitor social distancing. Was told when booking that numbers are being limited but the exhibition seemed very over crowded.

For the price of the exhibition and for what you get for the price paid, not impressed.

When complaining staff seem to have the same standard response and actually nothing seems to be being done about the issues or complaints.

With an interest in Titanic that stretches back to when I was a child in the 1970s, this is a museum I have wanted to visit for a very long time.

The museum is stunning from the outside and is, in itself, a work of art and beauty. As a photographer, I wanted to take photos of it illuminated at sunset and it did not disappoint.

The day before I visited the interior of the museum I called into the gift shop to purchase the official souvenir book. For some unknown reason the English language version was only available in softback yet the many different language versions were available as hardback (admittedly for £2 more). I asked in the shop if they had any English hardback books available, but they did not. I bought the book in advance of my visit primarily to make sure that I did not miss anything in the museum. The book shows many photos of Titanic and Belfast but very view artifacts directly associated with the great ship.

The following day I went to the museum and found that the majority of the exhibition is photos with lots of small text under them. The first few rooms were very crowded as people struggled to read the incredible amount of text panels. There are a few recreations such as the full size replica of one of the lifeboats and there are a few highlights such as the launch ticket from 1911 and the menu from the 14th April 1912. I queued for around 15 mins to go on the museum's Titanic ride which was OK but told me little.

I knew in advance that the museum did not have any artifacts which had been taken off the sea-bed. The museum say that is for 'ethical' reasons, though I suspect it may be to do with cost. The museum would certainly be much better if they had some artifacts from the thousands of items that have been taken off the seabed.

The best exhibition I have ever seen in my life was the Titanic artifacts exhibition at the Maritime Museum in London in the late 1990s. I wasn't disappointed that Belfast didn't have those type of items, but I did expect them to have much more 'original' content than they did.

The visit to the Nomadic was interesting and is included in the admission price for the Titanic Belfast museum.

Overall, I had high hopes for the museum but I was slightly disappointed at what they had to offer. I am pleased that I have finally got to visit it, but just think that a great building, which is a sort of monument to the most famous ship in history, should have better content than they do.

Difficult to separate out as we all found the whole thing well organised and quite immersive, The building is impressive and I would recommend hiring the audio commentary to get the best out of the exhibition. Also don't think the exhibit is only inside, I highly recommend the walking around the rear of the building where the Titanic and Olympic was actually built. I would also go over to the Nomadic which is the actual tender that ferried passengers out to the ship before it left on its tragic maiden voyage. We spent about 3 hours there. There is underground parking and if you use the cafe you get a voucher reducing the cost of the parking, We took a taxi which is quite cost effective from the centre but there is cheap public transport using the "glider" in both directions.
