- 213mollyb0 contributionsAwesome trip! This day trip was so much fun! The causeway is incredible, definitely a must see when visiting Ireland. Visiting Belfast was also a highlight as it is a wonderful city. Luke was a fantastic tour guide. He was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. Thanks Luke and Fred for one of my favorite days in Ireland!Written 29 February 2024

- lauraaP5822RJ0 contributionsFinn McCool tour was okThis was 1 of 2 Finn McCool tours of the total of 5 tours I did over my 2 week vacation. This was the better of the 2. I booked this one because when I booked it the description included Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge. This was a major site I wanted to experience. The day of the tour is when I found out not only were we not going to be able to cross the bridge, but we also weren't even going to stop there! The tour guide (Ryan who was very good as was our driver) was telling tales (Blarney) the entire tour so we thought he was joking. I posted the question on a Face Book page for people travelling to Ireland to ask questions. That is when I found out that the bridge has been closed to tour busses for over a year!!! I received a request from Finn McCool Tours on how hard Covid has been on their business, how they are working hard to rebuild their business, etc and to please write a review. I would think that with them trying to rebuild their business, they would have accurate information on what the tour does & doesn't cover. The guide & driver were awesome and totally made this tour passable. My overall suggestion is to confirm before booking, there are so many tour companies, you will not miss out if you don't "book right away".Written 19 September 2023
- W7023DSlauriew0 contributionsParts were good and parts weren't.The meet up place listed for Belfast (in front of "Top Shop") doesn't exist. We we were told by locals it went out of business yeats ago. I was disappointed that the Carrick-a-rede bridge was closed, we were not allowed to walk it. The bus didn't even stop at this location. The time at Giant's Causeway was sufficient although you need a separate ticket to get into the visitor center where the Cafe is. The stop at Dunluce Castle was ample time also. As for our driver. Handsome Thomas, & guide, Ryan. We're fantastic!! They definitely made the experience 💚☘️Written 12 September 2023
- 703arnie0 contributionsGood tour but packed bus and innacurate Meeting PointThe sights were great but some inaccurate info in the description. This tour starts in Dublin and by the time we got to get on the bus in Belfast there were only scattered single seats left and no way for a couple to sit together. The meeting point spot description in the directions is very wrong. The address is not at 31 Chichester St., but in front of the building at 70 Chichester St, which is across the street. The instructions say that it is outside the entrance to the Top Shop, which has not been there for a few years, although it is a short way down the street across from the Garrick Bar. If it had not been for a gentlemen at the desk inside 31-35 Chichester St., who directed us across the street (as he has been doing for a long time) to the exact pick up spot, we would not have found it, as there is no sign. FIX your instructions.Written 10 September 2023
- Scot21040 contributionsA Must Do Tour!Fantastic trip to the the giants causeway! It’s been on my bucket list and for good reason! Our tour guide was fab, knowledgeable and really funny!! The weather stayed kind for the most part too!! Would really recommend this!!Written 27 August 2023
- Christy S0 contributionsEnjoyableThe pick up point was quite confusing as it said to meet outside Topshop but Topshop is gone. The meeting place is a city bus stop and no one from the tour company is there until the bus pulls up right at the meeting time. The tour stops are nice and Quig was very knowledgeable about the history. I wish we had been told that there was a bus to take you down to the causeway as it is a very steep walk. I’m not sure how much it costs because we didn’t realize it was an option until it was too late. Also, be prepared if you get motion sick. Because the trip starts in Dublin and then picks up in Belfast, most of the seats were full and we ended up in the rear of the bus. There are many winding roads so I was miserable for most of the tour. Not the fault of the tour, but I really wish I had taken some anti nausea medicine. The tour drives you through much of the beautiful countryside. It is a lot of riding and a lot of walking. Bring a lunch. The stops are quick and you won’t have time to order in a restaurant. We enjoyed the distillery tour and tasting.Written 17 August 2023
- macman6040 contributionsLook for emails from the company that may adjust your departure time.Very good tour - especially for Game of Thrones fans (not me, though). The Giant's Causeway is really dramatic. There is a bus that will take you up or down (or both) ways for those who have trouble walking. Cost is 1 euro each way. (Our guide gave us a couple of euros as we hadn't changed any money.) Titanic Experience is awesome. Our guide warned us that we shouldn't read everything because there wasn't enough time. He was right. We had 1.5 hrs and really needed at least 2.5 hrs. So, keep that in mind if you want to see the Titanic Ex. We didn't stop for lunch. This is a great tour for Belfast. Our guide wasn't very talkative although he did give us the basics. In response to another review: Finn Tours looks at the official port arrival times for cruise ships and will adjust the schedule to go as early as practical. We were originally scheduled for a 9:30 am start (after a 8:30 am ship arrival time). Finn thought we were docking at 7 and tried to move our tour up. They were very responsive to email and we eventually settled on 9 am. But, a few guests didn't see their emails, so we left at the originally planned 9:30.Written 20 July 2023
- Inspire1101190 contributionsLeft Us WaitingFinn Tours changed the meet time from 9:30 am to 8:30 am & didn't contact me. 1 email day before tour still says 9:30. No call, voicemail, text, or FB message. I had sent a FB message to them 3 weeks before tour & was told I would get notified of changes 1 week before tour. They are refusing to give me a refund & have been extremely rude about the whole situation.Written 14 July 2023
- annmariemB7130QQ0 contributionsPleasant trip, poor customer serviceGiants Causeway and Dark Hedges are something that must be seen. This part of the trip we thoroughly enjoyed. The driver Anil and tour guide Noel were also very pleasant, amusing and knowledgeable. What was disappointing is the trip we booked and paid for was not fully delivered. A snippet below of the booking confirmation which clearly shows our trip to include the Glens of Antrim and total duration of the trip being 9 hours...A snip below of our booking confirmation... Giant’s Causeway, Glens of Antrim and Dark Hedges tour from Belfast 2 Adult When Saturday 01 Jul 2023 9:15 AM - 6:15 PM Duration: 9 hours We were picked up at 9.15am and shortly after 3.15pm we were dropped back off in Belfast. When I approached the driver back in Belfast he said he knew nothing about the Glens of Antrim and should take this up with the tour company. Our first email sent on Monday 3rd did not deliver for some reason and when I followed this up today, disappointed to have not received a response, I was informed the initial email wasnt received. I therefore explained again my reason for contact and was informed I was wrong, the trip was not 9 hours and I should update my cookies!! William has very poor customer services, obviously his back was up because we asked to be compensated for the short comings of the trip, of course he wouldnt entertain this stating it was our fault and if we wanted a different trip we should have paid for it. We just wanted what we did pay for and I told him we would therefore be submitting an honest review. This he deemed as being blackmail!! and refused to further comment.Written 7 July 2023

Giant’s Causeway is a must see! Brian was our friendly and knowledgeable guide (we loved his retelling of the legend of the creation of the causeway and the way the whole experience was organized, comfortable, & seamless.) The titanic museum was well done and I am glad we saw it though it was just an added bonus to our goal of seeing the beautiful countryside and Dunluce, Giant’s Causeway, & The Dark Hedges. Our guide must have used fairy magic to keep track of the group so well!
This tour is well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Finn McCool tours again!

Our day trip was a great day out for a family of 11 aged 10-70 years. The trip included several stop offs for photos opportunities and our tour guide was brilliant, giving us lots of historical facts along the way. The Giant’s Causeway was such a brilliant experience, the wardens were there to keep everyone safe without being intrusive. Well worth the money.

Great experience, Noel Marko was an excellent tour guide and host. The giants causeway was a great experience and we enjoyed popping into the pub at the end. We also saw the dark hedges and got some photos and we really appreciated Noel’s knowledge about the city and the surrounding areas.

Six of us from the USA booked this tour with Finn Tours from Belfast. It was about a 20 min walk from our hostel. At the bus stop we met our tour guide, Patrick and our driver Marco. Patrick was very enthusiastic and entertaining throughout the entire trip and Marco handled the bus expertly. Patrick was very informative to some of the historical aspects of the area. And also gave us some good advice as to where to eat and grab a pint or two after the tour. Highly recommended. Five stars.

We flew over from Manchester on a day visit purely to go to The Titanic Experience. It’s a great place, very interesting and extremely well presented. The ride following the construction of the ship was particularly good. Unfortunately we made the mistake of going during school holidays as the place was very overcrowded, it seems unlimited numbers are allowed in. It was impossible to engage in most of the many interactive displays and even trying to read some of the information boards was difficult.
Would certainly recommend a visit but would be avoid peak times

Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed The Titanic Experience and found it fascinating, especially the ship construction ride. We understand how visiting during school holidays can feel crowded—sometimes it’s worth remembering that others might feel the same because we’re all there enjoying it together! We appreciate your advice on avoiding peak times and hope you can return for a more relaxed experience. Thanks again for choosing us!

The tour lacked much of the history and culture of other tours we tried. Felt a bit unprofessional; guides had trouble getting people on to their correct bus, and did not seat people very well. Halfway through the trip, some were expected to give up their seat in order to give seats for people joining up later. Could be managed and planned far better.

The Titanic experience was a must for anyone who wished to get an in depth knowledge of the terrible fate of that great ship and the human errors which caused so much loss of life. The layout was very simple to follow and the voices from the past giving details left you with a feeling of just how the disaster unfolded.
The Giant's Causeway is a natural wonder which shows the power of nature at the early stages of the creation of the world in which we live.
The National Trust Centre is well worth a visit.

The Titanic Experience was outstanding. It was very well laid out and easy to tour. I did the Discover Tour which I would highly recommend. It is a one-hour walking tour around the outside of the museum. The guide, John, was very interesting and engaging and the tour was highly informative. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was visiting Belfast.
