- DOMea8500Great experienceMartin was very knowledgeable, he was able to answer all our questions and gave us an excellent insight. Highly recommend booking the tour with Martin.
- KenWalicki00Great Tour! Danny L. is brilliant!Booked the tour at the last minute. It was a cold, blustery day. Danny L. was our guide and was absolutely brilliant. He talked about his own experiences growing up during The Troubles. We couldn’t of had a better guide. He’s highly recommended!
- A123nneli45600Shocking experienceIt was a great, thought a shocking experience. We definitely recommend to do this tour once in Belfast. Danny L, our tour guide, was very friendly, specific and easy to discuss with.
- Sue M00This was by far the highlight of our stay - all 8 of us have found out so much from our lovely tour guide Pody . Top manWe were picked up on time and we were all so impressed with all the knowledge our tour driver had. . Lots of time to stop and get out of the taxi and really look at all the murals on both sides . Would definitely recommend Pody
- Oscar_Retriever00Very informative tourWe had a great tour with Keelan (not sure spelling is right). He took us through the different neighborhoods and explained the current political situation from both the Protestant and Catholic perspectives. It wasn't until near the end of the tour that we realized Keelan was Catholic, when I asked him point blank. He give a very non-partisan tour which was incredibly informative. I highly recommend this tour.
- caitlinmH25MP00Amazing tour and tour guide!Danny L was an amazing tour guide! He was so friendly, informative, and there was plenty of ‘Belfast banter’. If you’re going to Belfast, definitely do this tour! It’s extremely reasonably priced, and I’d definitely do it again.
- 190oliveo00An excellent tourMy friend and I did this trip today. Out driver was polite, friendly and patient. The tour was so educational, informative and a very memorable experience. I was blown away. I would highly recommend this tour. We had no clue if the driver was catholic or Protestant so he did his job well. Thanks so much Pody. You are fantastic.
- maireadm16500Belfast tourAmazing tour today . It was very educational and informative and our Driver Pody was extremely knowledgeable
- Guide1567156214400Mr Taxi Man aka the legendary Danny L.Danny L was a fantastic tour guide and really knowledgeable about Belfast. He was also incredibly friendly and good craic. Would highly recommend the tour and it was worth every penny. Great to get to stop and take photos at lots of opportunities. Thanks again for a great trip. Jane from Belfast
- tesser202300A Belfast must do…!I learned so much about Belfast on our tour with Martin today. Not only was the tour informative and unbiased, it was friendly. I felt at ease asking questions and all were answered. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the modern history of Belfast - whichever side of the walls. Thanks again, we’ll absolutely take another tour when in Belfast next.
- N2112MBclairef00Informative tourThanks to Danny H for a very informative tour. Great way to learn about the history of the city. Would 100% recommend!
- fionabS8004ZC00Cab tours BelfastGreat cut cab tour with Danny H. So interesting and informative and a fabulous guide. 😊would definitely recommend.
- simonrY4867WG00Eyes openedWe are so glad we booked this tour. Tom R had extensive detailed knowledge of the history of Ireland and the triggers for conflict. I was moved by the amount of detail and stories he shared. This is a must if visiting Belfast
- Jen-dav-kup00AmazingHad a great experience with Caolan. He was full of knowledge that he communicated In a professional manner. Answered all questions and really was intent on having us understand and learn the history. He added his own unique flair and was a very excellent driver. He went out of his way to help us with our own driving experiences and above and beyond in giving us well needed directions. Would recommend him 100%.
- conorw51700Fantastic Tour with Danny HWe had a tour in the morning on Friday 6th October shortly after arriving in Belfast - with our driver and tour guide Danny H. The tour was brilliant, everything we had hoped for an more. Completely unbias, the tour was informative and Danny H took us to a series of sites on both sides of the Peace wall. To hear such poignant stories was both emotional and interesting, an experience you can’t get by just watching things on the television back at home. Would recommend this tour and tour company to anyone visiting Belfast. If you get a driver who you think might just be the Irish Tom Jones - you’ve got Danny H!

Just got back from an amazing tour with Cab Tours Belfast.. We had Pody as a tour guide and what an excellent and informative man. The tour was meant to last around 1.5 hours but it easily spread over as we asked so many questions and he gave us a wealth of information on other subjects. Originally, we looked to do a walking tour but it was cancelled due to the pandemic, and in a way we are extremely glad as this tour involves a little walking and driving through what were crucial areas during the troubles. I really would recommend this to anyone as it is definitely no rush and it's information you should know about people who have faced issues in this country. Very informative and things that I will pass on to others. The tour is completely unbiased, not sure about other operators but Pody was great from start to finish and didn't reveal where he was from until the very end. Absolutely lovely person and very kind to us.

Went on the black cab tour would definitely recommend doing this trip if you are visiting Belfast. Was so easy to book through our hotel and our tour guide Isaac gave such a good insight into the history of the city and made us feel very relaxed during our tour. Great price and a great experience!

We considered ourselves quite well versed in the history of the areas but we still learned so much throughout. Danny was an excellent guide who delivered on his promise to give a balanced account on what has happened and what is still happening in this part of the world.
If you find yourself in Belfast and have any interest in getting to know your surroundings then this tour is the must do activity. 35 quid for 90 minutes of history with such a knowledgeable tour guide is great value for money.

Danny was our tour guide, and he was excellent. He asked us how much we knew of the troubles, and how much we wanted to know (as some details can be quite harrowing), so he could give a tailored tour to suit. Danny asked at every stop if we wanted to get out and gave a wee walk around, or the option not to, and he had plenty of newspaper articles to further explain the background of the places we visited. We also got the chance to write on the peace wall, and he was happy to take photos for us, too. The taxi tour is a highly recommended thing to do when in this city, and both the wife & I thoroughly recommend this one

We've just left our cab tour of Belfast with our driver, Pody, and couldn't be happier with the experience.
An impartial view of both sides of the divide in Belfast from someone who lives here. Pody was great, stopped and took us walking on both sides, explained the finer details of the murals and the historical sites that someone not from Belfast wouldn't know and he had a great sense of humour as well.
Pody explained that Cab Tours Belfast is a mixed tour company with equal numbers of Catholics and Protestants so you get probably as impartial a tour as you could get.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a tour of Belfast about the history of the troubles.

This tour is a real eye opener. Being a Catholic from the south I was very weary going into Shankill but our driver made us feel very safe from the start. John, our driver was so friendly and his knowledge was amazing. He didn't rush us at all and allowed us to get out and take plenty of photos. I recommend this tour to everyone and if you are lucky enough to get John you'll come away smiling. YNWA 😜

I booked a two hour (approx) black cab tour of Belfast around the Shankhill Road/Falls Road which was quite simply informative and interesting. The driver (Marty) was quite unbiased about things that had happened in the time of the Troubles. We drove around the respective areas and viewed the 'peace wall', Murals on both sides and other notable sites en route. There was no heated emotion, just fact based discussion from a man who lived and grew up in this area in the troubled 70s/80s. I left with a sense of newly informed respect for the NI peoples and optimism for the future as there does appear to be a change for peace and acceptance in what is one of the friendliest countries/cities that i have ever visited. I grew up in Central Scotland watching the 'Troubles' on the news and never understood it, this tour helped to scratch the surface a bit more. I would recommend to read a little on the historical contexts before visiting Belfast which can only help understanding. I hope that it continues to improve for everyone in Northern Ireland. Recommended.

We booked the cab tour on a recommendation from our hotel to fill the time on our last day before heading to the airport.
We were so glad we took the advice.
Our tour guide, Isaac was the most friendly, knowledgeable and funny guy who gave us a completely unbiased history of Belfast and the conflicts between Catholics and protestants.
We would recommend the tour to anyone who is fortunate enough to visit such an amazing, friendly city.
Thank you Isaac for a brilliant tour yesterday. maybe we will see you again sometime! 👍

I’m certain there’s an extra charge - if the facility is available. The pick up is in central Belfast, but as a previous commentator said we were met at Crumlin road gaol for our tour. We also continued onto the gaol tour after - which is separate but also worth a visit.

Mine was £60 I was a solo.traveller but two people could off went. Best black taxi I used. With tour guide stevie. It's definitely well worth doing it. I booked mine on the app with zilch. You can also go into the tour centre were you can book cheaper options some were £45. So much information going on one of these cab tours I want to take my son over next year as I absolutely loved hearing all the information seeing the peace wall and all the murals Bobby Sands one up close all the history behind everything and seeing how far the country has come to gain peace. I'd also recommend the bus tours the hoo to new hoo off. Set outo as early as possible as it's definitely a full day if nor two as these so much information. Plus go into the city hall there is a lot off information in there as well.

Hi it’s great people taking photos of murals and seeing Belfast but do they realise the killings and bombing that are behind them such we had to live in they might want a photo but should think of the innocence people that was killed along with children and babies just look behind the picture

We are very aware of the history and our driver was honest in his telling of all the fighting and loss of life. My husband’s parents were born not far from Belfast. We thought it important to see the area in person to further our knowledge of the history. I felt the tour was respectful and honest.

We stayed in the city centre so there was no extra charges, you can put in the request when you write to them, they will tell you the charges, at the end of our tour we requested that they sent us to the titanic quarter , they charged an extra of 5 pounds per cab.
