- Littletk0 contributionsGreat guideDavid was an excellent tour guide We had originally booked for the 1pm tour but he messaged the day before asking if we could change to 10am tour as weather wasn’t going to be so good in the afternoon Worked out well as he was right! Got to see all the main sights of the city, and got to hear lots of stories and facts Well worth it. Thanks David…Written 30 December 2023
- managerblackhorseinn0 contributionsThe best way to explore Belfast! We spent a fantastic 3 hours on Sunday morning exploring Belfast on two wheels! If you are planning a visit to the city I would really encourage you to book one of David’s tours. From start to finish it was fun and informative and a really refreshing way to see the city. The tour is suitable for all ages and David is extremely knowledgable about Belfast. The time flew buy and we explored bits of the city which we would never of found on our own. Thanks David!Written 7 February 2023
- LiverpoolCycleTours0 contributionsAn absolute MUST do in Belfast near the Titanic museum! The BEST way to see MORE of this amazing City!Fantastic tour of Belfast with David! Really loved this experience and the way he did the tour. Bikes were great and we navigated through and around the city with ease. The stop for a Guinness was a bonus and of course he knows all the best places to go to after the tour too such as Maddens (great for live music), Sunflower, Kelly's, Whites Tavern and of course The Crown! His knowledge of his home city of Belfast is outstanding and I've been telling everyone I meet to do his tour first! First class tour! :)Written 10 December 2022

- David B0 contributionsBrilliant Belfast Bike TourA fantastic way to explore the city with a knowledgeable and fun guide in David. The tour gets the balance between Belfast's past, present and future absolutely spot on. A nice short pub stop towards the end of the tour was a nice touch as well. The bikes are easy to operate and the route is nice and flat with lots of cycle lanes and pedestrian used areas. Highly recommended!Written 27 October 2022

He felt like a mate at the end but always kept the tour on track between the chats. I wasnt ready for it to end :-) I saw so much of the fantastic and fascinating Belfast. David recommended great restaurants and other gems of Belfast for me and my brother. A real joy of a tour and guide. Thank you David!!!Written 17 September 2020

The cycle tour was the perfect mode and speed to get to know the major highlights, history and lesser known shortcuts through this remarkable city. The guide, David was a pleasure, in knowledge, humour, and company, to learn from and lead a group of mixed experience with urban cycling.

This was my second tour with Belfast Bike Tours, and like last year, the first half of the route was around Belfast centre, and what really struck me was how one minute we were out in the open (at the Game of Thrones studios and where the Titanic was built) surrounded by the open air & sea breeze, and only minutes later we were winding through the high-sided cobbled streets of the Cathedral Quarter. It really is something you can only do on a bike.
The second half was different to last year; this time we saw the beautiful Botanic Gardens and Queens University, which again were such a different experience, but still only 5 minutes ride away from the City Centre.
All in all, this is just a must do. In a car or on a tour bus, you just couldn't get to all these places through the narrow and intricate routes, and on foot you just couldn't get round in a day as there is so much to see.
Massive well done (again) to Belfast Bike Tours on providing a unique and incredible experience!

This was a great way to explore the city with David who was friendly, knowledgeable and a good laugh! We did it on a Sunday morning which was lovely and quiet but highly recommend doing it when you first arrive at the city as it is the perfect way to find out all the best areas to visit in Belfast. The cycle around the wall and memorial was moving and poignant and it was really interesting to hear first hand how the troubles have affected the people of Belfast. The city is mostly flat so it was an easy ride and we finished with a pint of Guinness - what could be better? Thanks so much David for a great 3hrs - it was the best thing we did in the city.

A bike tour can be a great way to see a city, and Belfast Bike Tours is no exception. Dave's style is very personable and having no obvious set patter, he just talks about the things you're interested in. He also knows how to take some good photos.
There's no rush and being on the flat, it's all very easy going. The bikes are in good condition and easy to adjust size wise.
So if you fancy a fun way to see and learn about Belfast centre and the Titanic Quarter, try this. It's far better than a bus tour. We know, now we've done both.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Belfast. My husband booked a weekend away for us as it was my birthday and decided to book us onto this bicycle tour. When we turned up it was just the two of us and David and we went on to to have the best two hours of fun, cycling around beautiful Belfast and seeing all the sights. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and our tour guide David was brilliant, so friendly and good fun! I highly recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting Belfast, it is the best way to explore the city by far!

We had a brilliant time doing this. The tour was really well organised and very interesting. Our guide also tailored it to our group, taking into account where we wanted to end the tour for lunch. All in all, I recommend this tour to anyone who fancies experiencing Belfast in a different way.

Perfectly paced, and extremely safe, this is without a doubt, the best way to see Belfast!
The tour took us through the several distinctive quarters of Belfast, stopping at key points along the way.
The tour is exciting, and unexpected, and our tour guide David had such a depth of knowledge.
The bikes are super comfortable, and the ride is for any fitness level.
I thought I had seen most of Belfast on my first trip, but taking a Belfast Bike Tour on my second visit to the city has shown me so much more.

My husband and I turned up a few minutes before the start of the afternoon tour and David (the bike tour guide) was very friendly and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about all things Belfast and made some great recommendations about things to do in the city and the surrounding areas. It was a wonderful way to get our bearings right (as it was our first day there) and see the city on two wheels. Highly recommend it!

I did the bike tour with David our guide and another lovely guy (Dustin) who was visiting from the USA. Absolutely enjoyed it - was well worth the investment. David was a font of knowledge about all things ‘Belfast-onian’. We cycled all over, taking in the harbour & Titanic Museum, Game of Thrones related spots, the pretty Cathedral Quarter with its quirky pubs and church, the City Hall, and the Peace Wall & Troubles memorial were sobering remnants of Belfast’s history. Was a great way to spend a morning and David puts you at ease and checks in on you regularly. The bikes were ideal for getting about on the virtually flat pavements too. Being an electric bike rider, it was no problem at all to ride and there’s plenty of breaks.
Do it…you’ll see so much in a short window of time that you wouldn’t normally have access to by car/bus, and you’ll love it!

We would love to do the tour this Friday, 9/13. We are taking the train from Dublin to Belfast that’s scheduled to arrive in Belfast at 11:20 am. Would we have time to drop our bags (4 carry on’s) at the AC Hotel or safely leave them somewhere else, and make this bike tour at noon?
