Loch Lomond, Stirling, and Glengoyne Distillery Tour from Edinburgh
From US$43.52
The glittering lakes, windswept glens, and rugged mountains of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park lie just two hours west of Edinburgh. On this tour, take the scenic route and enjoy optional extras such as a visit to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, a cruise around Lake Lomond, or a tour and tasting at the Glengoyne Distillery.
What to Expect
After pickup from central Edinburgh, set out on the around 1-hour drive to Stirling, traveling by air-conditioned minivan. On arrival, explore the historic town, where highlights include the Wallace Monument—dedicated to the real-life ‘Braveheart’, William Wallace—and the royal fortress of Stirling Castle, which you will have time to visit if you wish (entrance fees not included).

Continue along the dramatic Duke’s Pass into the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and stop to take photos of Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest lake. After admiring the stunning scenery of the national park, make a final stop at the Glengoyne whisky distillery where you can tour the distillery and sample a dram of whisky (own expense).

Your tour ends back in central Edinburgh.
