Must-do highlands tour from Edinburgh!
Oct 2021 • Couples
Very highly recommended tour! Our guide/driver was Jamie Stuart who was absolutely wonderful! He provided excellent and detailed, knowledgeable commentary about the major sights, and associated history, while also using music ranging from heavy rock to folk music that was relevant to the particular element of the journey! The tour of places visited was outstanding! My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of this most memorable trip! My Canadian wife came away with a much broader understanding of Scotland.

Brendan the hero!
After a terrible experience with Gray Line Iceland, we were really sceptical that we were allocated this company in Scotland. However, we were relieved when Brendan picked us up, was super friendly & just did all he could to make us have a great day. Brendan was professional throughout- he was faced with many obstacles including a rude passenger talking on the phone throughout some of his commentary - he took this in his stride! The drive was super long & if anybody else was driving us it probably would’ve been too much, but he made this go quickly. He made great recommendations regarding where to purchase food etc & we witnessed him go above and beyond for the passengers on board.
Toilet on board was useful! Not the cleanest but very handy following overdoing the coffee!
We had a great day.
A credit to your company & the subject of a great selfie as well!

Brilliant Tour Brilliant Guide
This tour was amazing. We were lucky as we had a large coach and only about 15 customers so loads if room but coach was very comfortable anyway. The best part by far though was our driver /guide Jamie who was absolutely fantastic. He has a huge knowledge of Scottish history and geography and filled a 12 hour trip with masses if information which made the trip so informative and enjoyable. When he took a break from talking he out on some very eclectic and appropriate music which was a really nice addition to the trip. He was by far the best guide we have ever had on a tour of this nature and he was also a really good and safe driver. He also made a few unscheduled stops at quieter and more visually beautiful spots as well as all the scheduled ones. He was worth the cost of the trip on his own. Easy pick up 3 minutes from our hotel which was helpful because of the early start. A great day out and 12 hours just flew by. Thank you Jamie!!

Wonderful trip.
Sep 2021
Despite the weather being at times awful the driver/ guide Brendan gave us a brilliant day out , very informative and entertaining.
It was a long day, 7.30am - 8pm but worth every penny and I enjoyed every minute, as my first solo trip I was a little nervous, but Brendan and the other guests made it a great day.
Would recommend this trip, virtually Scotland in a day.

Worth every penny!
Writing this review minutes after being dropped off by our INCREDIBLE tour guide, Jamie. He was informative, entertaining and helpful throughout our day from 7:30am till 8pm. Would highly recommend this day tour for all looking to get a feel for the highlands. My sister and I also went on the cruise tour at Loch Ness which is the perfect way to get a feel for the lake (great fish and chips there as well).

Would like to take this opportunity to thank Jamie once again for his professionalism throughout the day and I would definitely be requesting him again when I come back to Scotland. Love all information provided. Especially about the different whiskey distilleries, references made to game of thrones & outlander and recounts of Scottish history.

If you do a trip with Gray Line make sure you get the driver called Brendan. For 12 hours he was unfailingly cheerful, informative and entertaining .... and his singing is quite unforgettable.

Our tour guide Brendan was great and had some really good stories and facts for us. Kept us entertained the whole way.

Had a few stops on the way and saw the beautiful Glencoe. Loch Ness was amazing and loved the cruise.

Fantastic day out in the Highlands
Fantastic tour and great value for money. Our tour guide, Brendan, was friendly (with a good sense of humour) and very informative of the history and areas we visited. He also knew some great spots for photos opportunities. All in all a great day exploring the highlands and Loch Ness and would definitely recommend this company. PS - Brendan can hold a tune or two 😉

Great memorable day
Our guide Dougie made our day memorable from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable and very funny. From pick up to drop off there was nothing he didn't seem to know. Even 350 miles driving in 12 hours later and he was still on top form. Thank you Dougie and thank you gray line for a fab day
