worth its weight in gold if you plan to visit the castles and other places of interest.especially edinburgh castle which is very big and has some beautiful views from the walls

We got 2 passes and it was worthwhile no queuing to get into both Stirling and Edinburgh castles and added to that also got into Doune castle with it a bargain, when we travel again to Scotland will get them again

The explorer pass is a great deal but there is a better option - read below.
