Laughed a lot, learned a lot.
Fabulous and funny. Learned a lot, laughed even more. Felt like I was on the fun table at a wedding, compared with other nearby tour groups. Highly recommended.

A must do before your leave this magical city
Priceless experience of Edinburgh with an unbeatable comic twist. Daniel was absolutely fantastic! Great laugh like we hadn’t had in a long time, we actually learnt something new about this stunning, majestic, full of pride and history city and visited places that were not that obvious, all coated by great stories, told by a great gentleman who made us laugh to the our pants. Good luck Daniel and thank you for the unforgettable experience! X

Laughed till I cried learning Scottish history
Incredibly knowledgeable guide who knows how to make it funny. Well scripted tour guide who is able to off the cuff jokes and jibes at the expense of the people in the group. Very funny have not laughed so much during a 2 hour history lecture. It works because Daniel knows his Scottish history and how to pull out the parts that lead to a good joke. It is important to not be too sensitive and be prepared for some fruity stories. Will definitely do it again next time I am in Edinburgh and this time being the family.

    An Edinburgh must-do
This is a must do when visiting Edinburgh. Funny and informative about the city and its history , there was a mix in our party and made everyone feel included. Some performers feel ' stale' with repeated performances but Dan provided loads of laughs delivered as if it was his 1st tour , well done and thanks

    Laughing from start to finish
I had a wonderful time on this tour. From the beginning our guide had me laughing and I enjoyed not only the jokes but the history aspects he shared as well. I would recommend anyone traveling to Edinburgh to check this tour out. Bonus, you get to meet the Bonnie Prince.

    Excellent!
My partner booked this tour for us and I’m so glad he did! Daniel was a great guide who made the experience informative but full of laughter; it was a great and fun way to learn about the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Doggo Bran was an absolute highlight too.

    Highlight of the weekend
A great two hour tour from start to finish. Daniel entertained and informed us in equal measure. He doesn’t check off all the highlights of the Royal Mile and that’s a good thing. He’s choosy and you should be too. You will not be disappointed with Daniel as your Edinburgh tour choice.

    A Hebrides view.
A Hebrides view. Utter anarchy but hugely enjoyable. MQS will never be the same after the tour. Thank you. I’m not sure if that lovely American couple will ever be the same again. Totally recommend this. Al

Daniel was a great guide, extremely funny and so knowledgeable. The trip was a meander around Edinburgh with stops to enlighten us on the history and architecture of some of the city’s sites. We learnt so much and had plenty of belly laughs along the route. Daniel got to know each and everyone of us in the group and made it a great 2 hours of fun. Highly recommend this tour, we did indeed encounter a few other guided walks along the route but none was as raucous as ours. Thank you Daniel we had a ball. You Really made our trip to Edinburgh a memorable one. Dave and Tracy

A great tour of the old town which incorporated interesting information and facts about the area with comedy perfectly. Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, remembering everyone’s names and tailoring elements of the comedy to what he had found out about you, which elevated the experience. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to find out some more about Edinburgh and has a good sense of humour.

Great fun tour of Edinburgh where you'll laugh and learn at the same time. Daniel knows his stuff, it's incredibly affordable, and he gets a good crowd of varied folk along. We really enjoyed it and would definitely do it next time we're back in Edinburgh. He takes time to know a bit about you and remember your name, involving everyone individually in the two hour tour. Highly recommended.

We booked a last minute trip to Edinburg between Christmas and New Year, as were meant to be overseas but could not travel due to restrictions. We looked on Trip Advisor and read about this tour and thought we'd give it a go...and we were so SO glad we did!

From the moment you meet Daniel you are captivated by him and his extremely quick wit. He gets to know everyone in the group by name, and asks you how you met/what do you do for a living etc...which he then expertly weaves into his tour and hilariously refers to along the way. His knowledge of the history of Edinburgh is excellent, he is exceptionally articulate and full of interesting facts. What he excels at is relaying all this to his audience with as much hilarity and filth as you can take. If you are easily offended then this is not the tour for you. As we were making our way around the city, we saw other tour guides with their groups all looking ver serious indeed. I was so glad we had not picked one of those as would have fallen asleep within minutes. We laughed for the whole 2 hours we were with him. It was a fantastic way to explore the city and I would strongly recommend you book this tour. At the end of it I wanted to go to the pub with him and carry the mood on. The fact that he had his beautiful Goldendoodle, Brahan, with him, was all the better! We're now looking at coming up for the Edinburgh Fringe when he is on as he is just simply THAT GOOD!

My wife and I weren't too sure what to expect but we found this tour to be a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Daniel is, as well as being a very funny person, very knowledgeable and although he didn't bombard us with facts, dates and figures we did learn a fair amount in between hilarious stories and general fun poking. My wife and I haven't laughed so much in a long while. Hoping to return in the summer with our adult kids (young kids not allowed owing to some of the content of the jokes and banter.) Thank you Daniel and keep up the good work.

This is a really enjoyable way to visit buildings and monuments and find out stories about Edinburgh and Scotland that I otherwise have not have known about. Daniel cleverly tells his stories in a funny and memorable way so that it becomes meaningful; he does not reel off a bunch of facts that make no sense for the audience, you can tell he has put a lot of thought into how to make the historical stories interesting. He provides excellent tips for where to go while visiting. He interacts with the group and makes sure to learn everyone’s name.

If you want a fun, informative tour led by a personable, professional comedian through a beautiful city... then book this immediately. This made our day. It was a small group, he learned all our names and had a terrific energy. We were all laughing and learning and the pace was perfect. You'd be silly to book anywhere else for a tour.

Daniel took us on a funny tour of the key sights of Edinburgh, giving us his local knowledge and insight, with the odd decent and not so decent joke thrown in for good measure! :D
Starting by getting to know us all and taking the p*ss slightly, as every good comic should, we felt at ease and enjoyed the interactive style and delivery.
Highly recommended if you want something different to the usual bus tour.
COVID: Dan wore a visor at all times to comply with Covid-19 restrictions.

I've never had a tour that managed to keep me engaged the entire time, but this one certainly did. At the start of the tour while we waited for others joining the group, Daniel spent time getting to know the names, countries and occupations of everyone attending, and not only remembered all the info, but used it to crack jokes and make references throughout the tour. It made it feel really inclusive and custom.
His knowledge of the city was exceptional, I originally booked it to help my Spanish partner and her brother learn a little about our capital city (I'm Scottish myself, from Glasgow), but I ended up learning as much as them!!
Even if youre Scottish, in fact, even if you're from Edinburgh, I would thoroughly recommend the tour.
The energy was fantastic, Daniel was extremely engaging, and everyone in the group had sore cheeks from laughing. I'll be telling all my friends and family, if you're in Edinburgh, it's a must!

The only walking tour to do in Edinburgh. The right side of wrong in humour, just bloody hilarious and peppered with Scottish profanities that will make you howl.

Daniel took the time to get to know all 6 of us and remembered detail about us which he intertwined into his comedy sketch.

Lots of historical information but delivered in a comedy sketch. Not a follow me flag in sight and we was the only tour belly laughing round the city.

What a lovely guy, you won’t regret it.
