        Andrew is the best!
We booked with Andrew for 2 different days during our cruise of the British Isles and it was the best 2 days of our trip. We wanted a glimpse of the tourist attractions but were more interested in the scenery and places the tourists don’t usually see. Andrew did not disappoint. His knowledge and love of Scotland is apparent right from the start and his sense of humor kept us all laughing. Scotland won my heart and I have Andrew to thank for it!

        Don't miss this tour opportunity!
Andrew is simply an amazing guide. He picked us up and took us on a one of a kind all day tour. There was a storm coming in that kept closing places we wanted to visit. Andrew kept coming up with alternative places to visit. These places were off the beaten path and so interesting! I can't say enough good things about Andrew! He is a great storyteller. I learned and laughed!

Perfect way to see the Highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Andrew is knowledgeable, fun and not a d*ck 😂 (inside joke). We felt so blessed that we were in his care for three days in the Highlands as he made history come alive, showed us things we would never have found by ourselves or in a tour bus and was never intrusive or boring. His strengths include tailoring the itinerary to your needs. He picks the EXACT time to be at a destination without the crowds, is punctual and friendly. We can’t recommend him enough. Book him as your personal guide when in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

        Excellent tour guide
Andrew was an excellent tour guide. We had a 2 day private tour with him. So knowledgeable and funny. If you are looking for someone to show you around Scotland, he won't disappoint. He truly knows his history. We even got to sample whiskey!

        The BEST Scotland tour!!
There aren’t enough stars to give Andrew, 5 is no meaty enough!! The tour was incredible. Of course the sights and the highlands are breathtaking and we went to unique places where there were no other tourists. But the reason why you want to book this tour is Andrew! He is hilarious, you won’t stop laughing. And he is one of those rare people you meet in the world who is full of a joy for life (and for Scotland), and a genuine good person. Also did I mention hilarious??! We already miss him! We learned and saw and laughed so much. He truly made our Scotland trip. Thank you Andrew!

        Incredible tour of Scotland!!
You must take a tour with Andrew! We went up into the Highlands and saw incredible scenery, an abandoned village, standing stones, and so much more. You will not only see amazing places but Andrew tells you the history and lore of all the places you go. He is a wonderful storyteller with a great sense of humor. His tour is the highlight of my trip! I feel I really got to see a part of Scotland only the locals generally see.

        Bravest Scottish Man Award!
Andrew took a bunch of slightly mad Yorkshire girls around the beautiful sites of Scotland and survived. A fountain of knowledge and a friendly face we all had a great time. An asset to keeping scottish heritage alive and would highly recommend. Thank you Andrew and I dare say we will be back!

        Sterling castle
Well to be honest it wasn’t great didn’t have the feel off a castle. Some interesting bits but have seen a lot better. One of the food places was ok but by the time you paid for the food it was cold and it was cold in there as well. But we hadn’t been there before so the only really good thing I can say is the views where nice

        Unforgettable Four Days in Scotland!
It takes a gifted storyteller with an intimate knowledge of his country’s history — and a profound passion for his country — to enable a newcomer to experience Scotland in the broadest sense in a short period of time. Andrew McIntyre is that person. With a mixture of kindness, sincerity, honesty, and an infectious sense of humor, this man is a born tour guide. My sister and I spent four days touring The Isle of Skye with Andrew and always felt we were in capable hands. His expert driving skills were greatly appreciated as we were able to sit back and enjoy the impossibly beautiful scenery while listening to his tales. I had only a couple of things I absolutely wanted to see on this, my second trip, while my sister had many. Somehow, not only did Andrew remember all of our requests — and accomplish them — but also threw in a few surprises of his own. When weather concerns necessitated a change in plans, Andrew’s ability to quickly present a new agenda was impressive. We will always appreciate the lengths to which Andrew went to make this tour unforgettable. If you want a world-class tour guide who will leave you with cherished memories, Get Off the Beaten Path in Scotland with Andrew McIntyre. You will not be disappointed.

        Real Deal
We thoroughly enjoyed Andrew’s guidance thru the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. He took us to places we never would have visited on our own and he provided amazing history and folk lore that truly made our adventure unique. He’s the real deal if you want an authentic Scottish experience.

        11 out of 10!
Andrew was our tour guide for 2 day-trips around Edinburgh, and up into the start of the Highlands. We initially hired a tour guide to help us get over jet lag, by forcing ourselves to go on an 8-hour sightseeing tour so that we wouldn't go to our hotel and sleep. Andrew picked us up from the airport after our overnight flight and was a perfect gentleman. He set expectations, he asked us questions to sus us out and he adjusted what we would see on the fly. I can't recall everything we saw in those two days, -- Blackness Castle in a downpour, which only added to the black ness, a charming fishing village, a loch at the start of the Highlands, St. Andrews, and much, much more -- but what I can recall is those two days in a van with Andrew were a true highlight of our time in Scotland. He was funny, witty, charming, engaging, and a great storyteller, we were laughing so hard many times, and he has an evident passion and a love for Scotland, he adjusted what we would see as we talked and he got to know more about us. He answered all our questions about Scotland with patience and humor. I can't speak highly enough of Andrew and what he showed us around Scotland. There were many, many times later on in our trip when we had questions or weren't sure of things and we'd say 'If only Andrew were here, we should have hired him for our entire 10-day vacation! Our only regret -- we didn't take a group photo with him. I know I speak for our entire group when I say I can't recommend him enough. He was truly an 11/10.

Wish I could give 10 stars!
Our day with Andrew was absolutely perfect! He is a terrific guide with such a wonderful sense of humor. From the moment he licked us up, we knew our group of 4 woukd get along just fine with him. He told us so many stories and made our time in the Highlands so memorable. I honestly wish we had booked him for all of our tours!

A trip that gave me memories for life
Just came back from a wonderful guys' trip to Scotland. The journey became more remarkable because of Andrew. He made our trip extremely comfortable with no rush, stopping wherever we wanted, customizing as needed, and constantly asking for feedback, innovative places, and ideas to make things memorable. He took us to places that regular tourists don't go or know about. He finds his way to facilitate our requirements. His knowledge of Scotland and its history will give a sharp challenge to any historian. He will ensure you have a trip you remember for years to come. Most importantly, his smile and being a wonderful person will give you the comfort of being in good hands and a trip with no worries. I highly recommend taking trips with Andrew as then you are not only just having fun and going for a trip, but also you will be building great memories that will stay for years to come.

Stop looking any further. This is it. Book Andrew and enjoy Scotland.
Andrew was our guide and driver for a custom five day trip all across Scotland. He curated a trip based on our needs and he listened, reacted, and adapted the tour as we experienced the most breathtaking natural beauty, historic sites, and he seemed to know exactly where to take us to make the trip truly one of a kind. He knows his roads, he knows his history, he’s smart, witty, courteous, and hopefully he is available for your trip.

        Trip of a lifetime!
Just got back from an awesome 4-day tour of beautiful Scotland with Andrew. He took the time to learn what we liked and tailored the tour to us. The sites we visited were absolutely amazing, including castles, lochs, waterfalls, cliffs, ancient stones...(too many places to recount here). Andrew is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the sights and he is passionate about his craft and loves what he does. He is also a super nice person, who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your time with him. I highly recommend anyone considering going to Scotland to reach out to Andrew and book with him.

Andrew took us on a breathtaking scenic two day tour of Scotland visiting many stunning lochs, glens and castles of Scotland with an overnight stay in Oban and a cruise to see some very cute seals Andrew was an excellent tour guide with so much local and historic knowledge of all the areas we visited, friendly and entertaining, nothing was too much trouble.

Highly recommended and would definitely book with him again.
