Had a fantastic couple of hours doing the Treasure Hunt around EdinburghTook us a while to get to grips with the clues but throughly enjoyed it I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting a city for the first time. We have been to Edinburgh before and this took to places we hadn’t seen on previous visits We will definitely be using this again on our next city break. Paul and Ian were both on hand for any problems

Did this as a solo traveller. A great way to explore the old town while searching for details that you would easily pass by if just wandering around. Very easy to follow the trail - you get directions and clues on your phone and you input your answers before you can continue . you can ask for hints if you get stuck .the trail can be done at you own pace and you can stop as often as you like . This makes you notice the details in buildings you would never have seen before Would highly recommend to solo travellers , couple and families .

I'm so glad you had fun playing Treasure Hunt Edinburgh. The city's is full of fascinating history and details, it was a lot of fun making the game.

So interesting getting to see parts of the city and spot things you might not otherwise notice. One of our group lives in Edinburgh, and even she learned things! A great way to see the city... and get your step count up! I've also done the Leeds one, and both have been great. I'd definitely do more in other cities.

This is the 3rd of these treasure hunts that we've done. They are such a fantastic way of following a great route through a city to find places you might otherwise miss. They also always recommend somewhere to stop and have refreshments. It was good fun, and some of the clues are usually tricky, so it is also a good challenge.

Fantastic fun, so informative, see areas of the city that you might not see - we certainly did and have visited the city on many many occasions, encourages you to be aware of your surroundings and to pay attention to what should be obvious. Would think it would be suitable for most ages. Would highly recommend as you do this at your own pace.

A self guided tour of Edinburgh you can complete in your own time, following the clues and maps given by Captain Bess. A fun and different way of exploring the nooks and cranny’s of the city while discovering little things you might normally miss. Took me and my husband about 2 hours with some stops along the way. Really enjoyed it and would recommend especially for those who are a fan of escape rooms and puzzle solving.

My friend was visiting me in Edinburgh for a weekend so I booked this treasure hunt.
It was really great fun and a fantastic way to see the town. If the streets are busy, this is still easy to manage as there are some back street short cuts away from crowds.
The clues are fun and not too difficult, not too easy.
As well as clues, you learn some fun facts and stories about the areas.
It's lovely to be able to do at your own pace, allowing time for coffee/lunch stops, shopping, photos etc.
I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Edinburgh - it's suitable for families, couples, groups or even on your own!

We had so much fun! We already saw all of the touristy stuff in Edinburgh, so this tour was the perfect way to explore the city on our own timeline, being able to stop whenever we wanted. We discovered unique hidden spots, were challenged by the clues, and had a blast!

We did the Edinburgh treasure hunt as family with my partner and 3 kids. This was after I had already done the York Treasure hunt as a team building day with my work colleagues. I would highly recommend these treasure hunts for both of these types of occasions. You can work as one team or 2 teams competing against each other and the game is very engaging and intuitive. It's a great way to explore the cities and see the sights without the kids moaning about walking around. They absolutely loved it and found the whole thing quite magical. The route and the clues are very well thought out and provide a good challenge without being impossible. Would highly recommend

Great experience! Perfect way to get to know the city on a very fun way! I recommend it 100%! Thanks to the treasure hunt we learnt so many cool facts about the city and we got to walk around and see the most famous attractions!
