      Unforgettable Journey Through the Highlands!
Our 12-hour tour to the Highlands, Loch Ness, and Glencoe was nothing short of spectacular! My friends and I had long dreamed of visiting this breathtaking region, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. The journey took us through some of the most stunning landscapes we have ever seen, with planned stops to soak in the views and capture photos. However, what truly made this tour exceptional was our guide, Phil. Not only did he navigate the winding roads with skill, but he also filled the trip with charm, humor, and warmth. Phil went above and beyond—sharing fascinating stories about Scotland’s history, cracking jokes, playing beautiful music, and even singing and dancing for us. One of the most magical moments was hearing him perform the Scottish national anthem—it was a privilege to experience it sung by a true Scot. This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we are so grateful for the memories we made.

The three sisters 🗻 Nessi🐊 and Ben 👦
We took our trip the day after the big storm, Eowyn. Because of the unpredictable weather, I didn’t expect much, but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The journey was long, but Ben, our tour guide, made it enjoyable. He planned plenty of breaks for us to stretch our legs, take photos, and use the restroom. Along the way, he shared fascinating stories, historical events, and mythical tales, keeping us engaged throughout the day. The scenery was breathtaking. Mist clung to the mountains, and the vibrant greens stretched endlessly, creating a view I’ll never forget.

Great Guide, Amazing Views, Well worth it
Me and my partner from Cardiff had a great day being driven around and through some of the best sights in the Scottish highlands. Our Guide, Tony, was great and gave so many insightful facts into the history of the land and provided many stops to take photos and for breaks. He was also hilarious and really made the journey fun, despite being the brunt of the English jokes and my Welsh partner being let off the hook. Great tour that I would recommend, cheers Tony.

      Really Enjoyable Tour
It was really nice. Ben was really informative and engaging when telling stories about places we went through. He even stopped at another place just to get us to see Hairy Coo as we can not saw one in Callander.

      Ben should be promoted.
I have to give 1 star because Costumer Service was absolutely awful, not only not helpful but also not nice. On the other hand, our driver/guide Ben was the only positive. He is reliable, knows a lot, funny, witty and attentive. Maybe people in customer service should learn from Ben, while he is not sitting in a comfy desk he has 10 times better customer service than the actual company. Thank you Ben. Company sucks.

      wonderful snowy highland tour!
Ben did an absolute lovely job of showing us the highlands - he actually started sharing interesting information about Edinburgh before we even left the parking spot! The route was really well planned to begin with, and Ben also very kindly stopped a few extra times to let us stretch our legs and take some photos (the highland coos were extra magical)!

      Great tour, great guide
Alastair was our driver/guide and he really brought the history of Scotland to life. In between explaining Scottish history and providing insights into the various spots we visited, he entertained us by playing tunes over the PA that all had a Scottish link of some sort (Alastair has promised me he will add Rod Stewart to the playlist!). I really recommend this tour if you want to tour the Highlands (and visit Loch Ness) in comfort.

      Amazing Day!!!
Absolutely worth every penny. Ben, our driver and guide was incredibly knowledgable and enthusiastic. The landscape was spectacular and he stopped so we could take photos throughout. The boat trip on Loch Ness was fantastic. Would highly recommend Stewart Tours and Ben made it fun with lots of laughs throughout the day. Sara, from London

This tour was exceptional! The sights were beautiful but what really made this trip stand out was Scott, our tour guide, and his incredible storytelling. Throughout the 12-ish hour trip, Scott kept everyone on board entertained with lively stories of Scottish history, funny jokes, and a great soundtrack. Scott’s storytelling was full of knowledge and deep feeling, which really held our attention throughout the long & twisty roads. My partner & I attended this tour during the last half of November, and the weather was great. Chilly but not frozen, plus there was plenty of heating inside the comfy charter bus to stay warm in between stops. We recommend bringing cash for this trip because some of the stops have stores where you can pay to feed “hairy coos” (the endearing term for Scottish longhair cows). These little bags of veggies are paid for with cash only. For lunch and bathroom breaks, we stopped about every hour and a half - two hours, so not too terrible at all. We would definitely recommend this trip to solo travelers, couples, and families alike! Guaranteed that if you get Scott as your tour guide you will fall in love with the Highlands and Scotland as a whole, if you haven’t already.

Went in December so the daylight hours were limited and the Jacobite Train wasn’t running. Still a great day with great views. We drove by the Kelpies, stopped for ~30 minutes about 1.5 hrs in at a small gift shop/cafe for breakfast. Then drove around to Glen Coe (quick picture opportunity) followed by Fort Williams (1 hr) for lunch. We stopped by Fishy Fishy (very good, very quick) and saw a double rainbow as a testament to Scottish weather. Afterwards was Glenfinnan (1 hr) where we had enough time to walk to the monument and up to/around the viaducts. After that it was dark so we just had a 30 min stop at Pitlochry before heading back to Edinburgh. We got back around 7:30 PM.
Our guide, Benjamin, was informative and had a great appreciation for the Scottish Highlands / History (more so than on Harry Potter).
The bus itself did not have a lot of leg space for taller individuals, but was clean, had USB charging ports, and was otherwise comfortable. Saw a lot of sheep and an occasional highland cow.

The tour started in beautiful Edinburgh, and continued through the Highlands. The guide Keith is amazing and creates a fully immersive and interesting experience. He told very interesting stories and complemented it with soundtracks that were perfectly timed with where we were. The scenery is absolutely amazing and the beauty of Scotland Highlands is stunning. Plenty of stops as well as to make the drives not too long. My favourite part was all the history I learned, again thanks to Keith and his stories. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to explore Highlands and learn the history as well as take in the sights.

We enjoyed the trip overall. Our tour guide Ben shared a lot of interesting information about Scotland and especially Scottish history during the trip. One or two gags caused exhilaration. We liked the stopover at the viaduct the best, here we definitely recommend the more "difficult" way to the viewpoint. From here you have a great view.

I recently took a tour from Edinburgh to the Highlands, ending at the stunning Glenfinnan Viaduct, home of the Harry Potter train. Our driver and host, Anthony, made the experience unforgettable.

He had us all laughing with his hilarious stories and kept the vibe upbeat with an excellent selection of tunes.

The tour was well-organized, the scenery was breathtaking, and Anthony’s commentary added a unique, entertaining touch. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Scotland with a side of humor!

Incredible day trip with a soundtrack of brilliant stories that enriched the whole experience. Alastair was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge about the historical and cultural context of the sights we saw en route as well as the places we stopped. The Coos were an absolute highlight, and the sight of the Jacobite train crossing the viaduct did not disappoint. Terrific fun, we took loads of photos and made so many memories. I'd highly recommend this tour if you're looking to immerse yourself in your surroundings.

Perfect trip! Far exceeded our expectations. The photo stops were well chosen and worth seeing, Glencoe in particular was surprisingly impressive. The Glenfinnan Viaduct was also unforgettable and we also saw the train. Our guide Scott was very likeable and funny and told us lots of interesting anecdotes during the trip. I also really liked his choice of music during the bus journey, some of which was Scottish traditional music and also a bit of Harry Potter soundtracks. We also felt well looked after and safe throughout the trip. The return journey ended with Scott tuning Five Hundred Miles and the whole bus singing along. An all-round perfect day trip that was worth every penny and that we would do again and again!

Never having been to Glenfinnan before, i decided to go on this tour on a rare day off.
Despite the (at times) very heavy rain, the driver/guide made this a great day out.
His knowledge of the history of the places we visited was top notch & all given whilst driving.
A very patient & calm attitude when some of my fellow passengers didn't make it back to the bus on time - everyone was waited for & yet the tour still ran ro time . . .
I was impressed with how comfortable the bus was - plenty of space.
I hope to do this or another tour again sometime soon in the sunshine.
I'd have no problem in reccomending Stewart Tours.
An easily booked, educational, comfortable & fun day.
Better weather next time i hope !

Very informative tour with beautiful views.

    Driver: 10/10
Anthony isn't Scottish, but he knows every bit of earth on the tour. For each area, castle or place he knows the history, legend or history of it. Besides, he can film locations for every Fimfan. He humorously packs the whole thing in short intervals and runs music in between so that you can feel relaxed about the Highlands.

    Bus: 8/10
The seats are comfortable, the windows are not tinted too dark, so that colorfast photos can be created. A second door facilitates quick entry and exit.
However, ATTENTION: for all those who need the entire belt length on the plane. Checks beforehand if there is a belt extension. The strap goes over the upper body and over the abdomen. Those who have more to offer there can run into problems. I sat like a turtle in there as the belt pushed me down at the shoulder and neck and as a result I constantly bumped my knee into the front seat.

    Tour: 10/10
The tour starts early in the morning and ends late at night. You can hear a lot about the story from Edinburgh, but it remained impressive: Whoever holds Sterling owns Scotland.
For Harry Potter and Outlander fan a very good tour.
But James Bond and GoT can also see something there. And if you like Highlands, this is a great way to get started, whet your appetite or just take a little trip.

Had a great experience on the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Highlands tour with Anthony as our guide. The bus left on time and was a comfortable coach, with air conditioning and storage above for bags, as well as an outlet on the seat in front of you. At twelve hours, this was the longest tour I have done in a single day but it was worth every minute. Anthony regaled us with interesting stories, folklore, and history throughout the drive, and broke up his interesting facts with Scottish music. For anyone who may find history dry, Anthony delivered complex history in an interesting and fun way that made me eager to hear more. I have a better grasp of Scotland’s rich history after this tour. It may seem that some of the stops at points of interest are short but they were really the perfect amount of time to take in the scenery, explore, and take photos. For all the places you visit on this tour it wouldn’t be possible to stay for extended periods without some things being cut out. I think the tour has found the sweet spot between allowing us enough time to take in a stop while not cramming too much into a day. I would book with them again and am interested to see what tours they offer in the future. One thing that made this tour stand out that I haven’t seen other guides do is that Anthony created a short passenger playlist. You weren’t obligated to provide a song but it was a fun way to hear music you might not otherwise. I would recommend this tour if you want a great visit to the Scottish Highlands. Thanks for the great experience Anthony!
