Amazing learnt so much history about Scotland.
My friend and myself visited Scotland for 4 days and Graham took us to lots of hidden gems, lochs and villages, off the tourist trail. Graham's knowledge is amazing, we learnt so much. The whiskey tasting and his singing was an added bonus! Also, we saw the Flying Scotsman on its journey to Perth, from the side of a loch. ! Nothing was too much trouble for Graham, I have already recommended him to friends. I recommend Graham 100% if you want to see Scotland off the normal tourist routes with fun and knowledge thrown in!

Graham gave us a custom tour. It was beyond our wildest dreams. Between the beautiful landmarks, lochs, country side, his knowledge of history to every animal and bird we saw. It was great to be one on one with him. We even had a Scotch Whisky tasting while Graham singing an old Scottish song to us. He had waters, delicious biscuits, candies, fresh strawberries and raspberries for us in the luxury car. This is a must do trip in Scotland and no one better to do it with than Graham.

Fantastic tour with Graham. He customized our Highlands journey based on our interests, amount of time, and since we toured as a family. We learned so much based on his exceptional knowledge of the area and history, plus he was warm and funny throughout. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Recommend without hesitation!

From the get go Graham was so accommodating to my 1 year old boy. Helped me with the car seat and pram and had strawberries and water set out for everyone! His knowledge was impeccable & could answer every single question asked without hesitation. Brilliant tour, stunning scenery, great company, comfortable seating, would highly recommend for anyone of all ages.

Graham was our Tour Guide for a full day tour of the western highlands. My 21 year old son and I had him as our personal tour guide. He took us to such incredible places we would have never found on our own or with a large tour group. He knows the area well and knows the history. He went out of his way with personal touches to make sure we were happy! We loved our experience!

We did 2 private tours with Graham. The first one, we had no idea what to see or where to go so we put ourselves in his hands. It was wonderful day long tour where we saw parts of Scotland we would never have seen on one of the bit group tours. The second tour we gave Graham 3 places we would like to see and he peppered that tour with a few other interesting places. He his a great historian. He also is well versed in the beautiful fauna throughout beautiful Scotland. Could not recommend him more highly.

Graham was lovely, absolutely amazing! I had a private tour from Edinburgh to Inverness and told him that I love scenery, nature and history. Well he brought me to so many wonderful places with jaw dropping views and such great history. I got to know him along the way as well and he is an exceptional person! I would recommend Graham 100 times over and over. I will be back to Scotland and I will be calling Graham for another tour!

I was very i impressed with Grahams knowledge and enthusiasm for the area.
A sincere man with a good sense of humour.

He took us to Angus and Royal Deeside in his very comfortable transport.
Blue Door walk at Edzell was magical with river in spate it was like going into a secret garden with an amazing gorge and stunning majestic trees.

        Dunnottar Castle was spectacular.

I will definitely be going on another of his tours.

We were in London on holiday and decided to go to Edinburgh for a few days to do an Outlander tour. The tour we were going on, called us the morning of to tell us that there had been a problem with the coach, so they were cancelling us. We still went to the site, to see if anyone else didn't show. Everyone showed up for the tour, and we were getting ready to leave, when one of the tour guides heard our dilemma, and very generously offered to take us the next day on his off day. His name is Graham Dawson and he totally saved the day! Not only did he pick us up at our hotel, but also very generously dropped us off at the train station.
We started out driving to Linlithgow Palace, which is where the scenes from Wentworth prison in Outlander was filmed. It was really great to see the grounds, I could even pick out where certain scenes had been filmed. Our next stop was Midhope Castle, which is the fictional Lallybroch from the show. They were closed, but we were able to get some great pictures of the outside. Our 3rd stop was in Culross Palace, which was Cranesmuir in the show. We were able to take a full tour, and see where multiple scenes were filmed in the show as well the garden that Claire frequented. It was a completely beautiful palace, and village. Our last stop was Falkland, which was supposed to be Inverness from the first 2 seasons. Graham was full of amazing and some times funny, anecdotal tales from Scotland, along with informing us of different facts that we had not heard. He completely saved the day and we are so grateful that he took the time to give us the tour. I would highly recommend using Tailabout Tours if you are going to Scotland. We can't wait to go back!

Haste ye back both. I am so pleased that I could help you to 'get about' and we squeezed so much in during what was necessarily quite a short day. Thankyou also for your very generous comments. Be safe and I hope that we can meet again soon.....so much to see in this wee land of ours. G
