Wow, what an amazing full day trip. Awesome value all round. Small group, nothing was to much trouble for Graham our tour guide or Will our driver. Graham provided running commentary all day long and went well above to ensure everyone had a great day. Wish we could have done more tours with this provider, we only had the day, but this was definitely a highlight of a 3 week trip in the Uk and Scotland. Thank you to the team!

Wonderful Tour of Oban, Lochs and Inveraray from Glasgow
Yesterday, Sunday, we had this great tour. An all day tour with Graham as our docent and Will driving us through breathtaking countryside, singing folk songs, and having local food and a tasting of Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. The Castle in Inveraray with majestic gardens was more than I expected to see in relation to the Clan Campbell. One of the best experiences ever! Enjoy and be sure to tune into Graham’s storytelling!

      Beauty and awe
The driver/guide was outstanding in his knowledge which he conveyed with love, pride and humour. But the tour would have stood up regardless of the guide because the country is outstanding in historical interest and natural beauty. I love fishing ports such as Oban where we stopped and sought our own lunch near the jetties and could watch feries departing for Mull. A splendid day. Good idea to get about Scotland by train between main centres and take small coach tours through the mountains and to places of special interest such as Glencoe.

Highland Experience Tour 3-Days with Davie
We signed up for the 3-day tour with Highland Experience simply because they were the only company whose schedule could accommodate our itinerary. My husband was traveling to Glasgow for business and I tagged along for a mini vacation before he had to go to his conference. After a nightmare flight from the US, we really needed some fun. We were picked up in Glasgow just a few blocks from our hotel and on time. The small bus seated 16 and we joined a very international group from China, India and the US. Davie asked the group’s opinion many times while explaining and/or recommending various options at each stop. It took about a day for everyone to feel comfortable chatting with Davie or the other passengers, but he continued to encourage sharing opinions as he provided Scottish history, music, background for our stops, etc. Davie was a great driver, very safe, and his former police background certainly made his passengers feel that he could handle any problems that might occur. We saw many beautiful vistas, waterfalls, memorials, several castles, cruised Loch Ness (but did not see Nessie),Culloden battlefield, a full day touring the Isle of Skye, SkyeSkins sheepskin tannery and several other stops and towns. Davie customized the trip to make the most of the scattered rain and managed to keep us dry 99% of the time. We spent 2 nights in the town of Portree on Skye in the lovely Coolin Inn B&B. Davie’s commentary, philosophizing, and Scottish storytelling greatly enhanced our trip. He kept his cool even when some of the group went AWOL and missed the boat (literally!). He kindly went back to collect them when protocol said he could leave them to their own devices. The language barrier definitely makes his job more complicated, but he handled the problems with good humor. The busy itinerary for this trip definitely felt rushed sometimes, but gave a good overview of a beautiful area. I am sure we would have missed some of the sights, had we tried to tour it on our own. Now we know where we want to visit for a more extended stay. Thanks so much !

1 Day tour to Highlands, Urquhart Castle, and Loch Ness
John was our tour guide. Weather on our day was not great (snowing and raining). He did a great job talking and keeping us entertained. We would recommend a 2 day trip over the 1 day to really experience and see the highlands properly. We felt rushed at the castle. There was not much else time spent off the bus, except to eat lunch and bathroom stops.

Isle of Skye 3 day trip
We lucked out with amazing weather for our 3 days trip. The driver Fergie was great. Spent 2 nights in a nice and clean B&B that was all organized for us. Made it for a very easy and enjoyable trip. Would recommend this tour!

      Amazing Trip
I booked 2 days tour from Glasgow from 25th Aug 2018. Got enough time to explore most of the places. The mini coach was quite comfortable. The driver Tom is a good person and having good knowledge of surrounding. I would like to give extra 1 star for him. Hope the next trip will be 3 day's tour.

Great itinerary, homely and welcoming B&B, knowledgable and entertaining tour guide!
We joint this 2-Day highland experience from Edinburgh with no idea what the highlands and Scottish history are. But Sergiu was such an amazing guide who managed to entertain us with jokes while opening us with the history of Scotland. The tour was really a great way to enjoy the best of the Highlands in just 2 days without any haste. What's more, we really liked how they could also offer to drop us off in Glasgow at the end of the trip (something not many tours offer)!

      Highlands experience
We had a great trip to Highlands. The star attraction I must say was our driver cum guide James. He was such a great story teller with rich knowledge of Scotland history. He explained significance of each destination minutely. It was fun listening to his tails. He was very polite and supportive of everyone's needs. The places covered during the three day trip were chosen well. On the last day we felt Inverness could have been added for short halt rather than the battlefield. Ruchika and Anurag from India

      Amazing fantastic tour
We were on the two day Loch Ness tour and it was amazing! The tour was perfect for all of us my parents, my husband and my two teenage kids. We all had a fantastic time. I would recommend people to take a tour with Highland Experience Tours especially if Sergio is their guide. Sergio was funny entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. The highlands are truly amazing and the views are breathtaking! We will be back and we will book again with Highland Experience Tours as everything is taken care of.

My 20-something children said this was their very favorite thing in Scotland. It was because of our tour guide, Fraser. His stories and engagement with us made the Highlands come alive. He included music in the tour and told us about the music and stories about different places we stopped that really kept us interested the entire trip. It was so beautiful and we enjoyed the castles we stopped at plus our lunch at Oben. Highly recommend this way of seeing the Highlands.

The bus trip was most relaxing and the scenery fantastic. Our driver was also professional and the bus clean and very comfortable. Well worth the journey and the entrance into Oban was something quite spectacular.

Beautiful day seeing splendid Inveraray Castle and some of the most picturesque ruined castles in Scotland,. We drove by lochs, enjoyed lunch in the pretty fishing port of Oban, and visited the barren valley where the massacre of Glencoe occurred in 1692. The driver, Grant, was entertaining and knowledgeable, never tedious, and he knows that he need not talk all the time. Some quiet time for reflection and enjoyment of the scenery and atmosphere is welcome. Also happy with Grant's wide range of Scottish music. An excellent day. Good va.ue for money.

Comfortable coach, on time and friendly driver. Would have liked a little more commentary but accept safety first as some of the roads were small and windy. Sadly did not get to final scheduled destination on time which only have left 40 minutes to see around the whole castle which, at an additional cost of £10 (subsidised) was not worth it.
