We were only in Glasgow for a day and half and our 5 hour tour with Elsa really covered it all! Elsa is so knowledgeable and has all of her history down pat- it’s really impressive. The tour was a good pace, taking the time to look at things and learn a lot about Glasgow and Scottish history. Highlights included George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, the necropolis, a lovely little cafe by the cathedral and a tour of the “smug” murals across the city center.

Thanks to the lovely Elsa, we enjoyed an enlightening and very engaging tour. Although the weather proved extremely volatile (snow, sunshine and rain) Elsa remained a patient and upbeat guide. This tour was a great way to learn more about the city’s geographical layout, as well as it’s fascinating history. Glasgow we shall return!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 hour walking tour with Elsa. She was very kind, had great energy and was very informative - could answer all of our questions. It was very rainy and windy on our tour and by the end we were completely soaked, but we had a lot of fund despite the rain and learned a lot about Glasgow. We left feeling like we'd learned a lot and understood the city a bit better. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to dive a bit deeper into the historical context on the city.

Our private tour was a great way to get our feet wet and immediately get a taste of the Scottish culture and history. Zhanna, our guide was amazing. She handled our multigenerational group perfectly. Our driver was fantastic as well. I highly recommend a private tour to get all of the bits of knowledge that you won’t hear on a city bus tour.

We arranged to go on this tour in between arriving in Glasgow on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper train and before checking in at our hotel. This was a perfect way to spend our first morning in Glasgow, as it meant we could get our bearings on where the main points of interest were and where we might want to revisit in greater depth later.

Our guide, Elsa, was knowledgeable and friendly, belying the fact that she was (it turned out) very new to giving this tour. She had taken account of our request on booking to take regular seated breaks due to my wife's disability, and we really appreciated that she explained clearly what we were doing next, how long it would take and how much effort it might take.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting an introduction to Glasgow.

We had a fantastic tour of Glasgow with Zhanna. Since we were not very keen on walking, we had requested for the tour in a private car. We were very impressed with Zhanna's knowledge of Glasgow history. Very memorable tour & we enjoyed a lot. Highly recommend to book the Glasgow City tour with Zhanna.
