Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is probably one of the best walking tours I’ve ever been on. The guide was a resting actor and he delivered a fantastic tale of history, culture, comedy even places to eat. Loved every minute of it

My mom and I did this as an extra to a larger tour we were on, and it became our favorite part of an entire week of Scottish highlights!
First off, amazing idea to have historical tours led by actors! Second, the walking wasn't strenuous at all, and the information was phenomenal! I would (and have) recommended this to friends and strangers alike!
To get a local's perspective of the good, the bad, and the ugly truth is this historical city is everything a tour needs!
I would have taken the same exact tour the next day if we hadn't had to be in Loch Lomond.

I booked this tour last minute, and the customer service was great with Gordon. Our guide Martin was fantastic and gave us a great tour despite the very Scottish weather of wind and rain. Humorous and applicable personal anecdotes and I appreciate that he included the history that is difficult to hear, but important to know. He also gave us recommendations for what to do around after the tour. Great tour, very personable and very much recommend.

Outstanding history tour! Ian is a fabulous guide & story teller using the facts to paint a picture of events that created history in Glasgow. It came alive with his style & presentation.

Highly recommended! Our guide Martin is very proud of his city, warts and all. Shared a number of insights of Glasgow's and Scotland's its origins, its heroes and some its dark sides of the city's mercantile success. His stories and knowledge was very entertaining. You'll learn a great deal of Glasgow with this experience.

We were a family of 3 that took the city centre tour. We all greatly enjoyed it - Gordon is passionate about his city of his birth and has a thorough knowledge about the place and its history. The walk was at a good pace and at all times there was great light hearted interaction.

Martin was an amazing tour guide! His energy and enthusiasm for Glasgow were infectious. His was able to project his voice so that our 20 person group could hear every word. And we were hanging on them—his knowledge about the political, social, cultural, and economic history of Glasgow was fascinating. I highly recommend this tour!
