We took a Hybrid tour with Craig which consisted of seeing- Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness,Dunrobin Castle , Loch Fleet, Dornoch a lunch stop and a stop at the Glenmorangie Whiskey Distillery and got to see Highland Cows up close when we mentioned we would like to see some. Craig is a former officer and is very knowledgeable of the area. When Craig realized my wife had problems with her knees he was very helpful of dropping off at easier spots to walk from. We had a great 8 hrs with Craig he got us back to the boat with plenty of time. We would highly recommend to anyone to take his tour.

My husband and I and our two friends hired Craig to take us to the Isle of Skye from Inverness. We were on a tour but our tour itinerary did not include Skye. This trip with Craig was the best day of our 8 days in Scotland. He suggested all of the most beautiful stops along the way and on Skye and the views were breathtaking. In addition to knowing all of the best spots, he was entertaining and gracious. He was a delight to spend the day with.

We had the most wonderful day with Craig! We toured all over the Highlands and he was kind enough to customize the trip to our request. Craig is kind and funny and has the best stories. While we did see a lot, one day really isn't enough time to spend in the area. When I do return someday, I will reconnect with Craig because I know it will be another great day. Highly recommend!

This was a great tour done with 5 couples. Craig was very knowledgeable and very accommodating for our large group. I would highly recommend. He was punctual picking us up at our cruise port and customized the tour for what we wanted.

We contacted Craig the day before our desired tour and he arranged a perfect experience. He is knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and can really get you to what you want to do in the area. He arranged a distillery tasting and a tour at a second distillery. Got us to a lunch and our working sheepdog demonstration. It wasn’t a good weather day (cold rain most of the day), but Craig was prepared with umbrellas and a cozy warm and comfortable van. He helped us figure out the best train back to Edinburgh and got us to the station with perfect timing. It was a great day. Lots of fun and tips about Scotland travel. Recommend HIGHLY!! We had a two day tour with Craig. It was incredible! He made sure we were on time to every activity and helped organize reservations, find us our specific interests (falcon shows and any hairy coo’s!) and much more. Truly a delightful experience that made us feel at home in the Highlands. Craig went above and beyond- we truly can’t recommend him enough!

Craig promised an Outlander tour and he DELIVERED! My girlfriend and I are huge Outlander fans and wanted to visit sites that are referenced in the show and books. We visited the stones that the author used as a model of the stones in the book, we visited Culloden, Fraser site and the beautiful countryside where the show is filmed. Craig was interesting, recommended a great place for lunch and got us back to our ship in plenty of time. Craig was on time, met us at the dock as promised and provided interesting information as we traveled through the highlands. We even tried to spot Nessy! A great day with a wonderful tour guide. Our trip with Craig was superb. He was so accommodating and helpful in designing a custom tour that would work for us and our time requirements. He was knowledgeable about the sights, giving us interesting information without overdoing it. He made thoughtful extra stops to show us things we wouldn't have thought to ask about. He guided us to nice shopping and eating venues instead of pushing us to tourist traps where he would likely get a kickback. And, all the while, he was extremely polite, funny and thoughtful. We highly recommend asking for Craig should anyone want a driver and tour in and around Inverness!

We (family of four - 2 6-year old kids) had a great tour with Craig today. After leaving the ship, we found Craig easily because he held a big sign with our name on it. 2 booster seats were also available for our kids. Our tour guide and driver (we felt safe at any time in his modern and clean van) was very flexible and let us decide what to do. He gave us a lot of information about the area and Scotland in general. We can highly recommend this private tour and especially our tour guide. Craig was a wonderful and knowledgable guide for our whisky tour to Speyside. We thoroughly enjoyed all our stops and appreciated Craig designing a tour that matched our interests.

We are on a cruise ship and our port was Invergordon. After taking a short tram to the parking lot, the guide met us (at this port it is not possible for the guide to meet you at the ship, but the tram only takes a few minutes). We had an all-day tour that the guide customized for us. We saw Lochness and Dunrobin castle along with a lot of other things, including a waterfall that salmon jump into to get to their breeding grounds. You have your pick of castles to see - the guide will do whatever you want and explain them - but we recommend Dunrobin. It’s beautiful and very well maintained, and includes a wonderful falconry show including hawks and peregrine falcons (the answer to the trivial question is these falcons are the fastest creatures on earth reaching 250mph). We highly recommend this tour and this tour company/guide (Craig Dale).

Our family had a great time on our tour. We saw many of the famous Outlander sites along with Loch Ness and even had time to stop for lunch and a whiskey tasting! Easy to meet up with driver right out of the port and great conversation along the way. Would highly recommend to anyone whether on a cruise or not. Much more affordable than shipboard options and better value as well.
