This was an excellent tour, the castle was very interesting with its period items and architecture. The Culloden Battlefield archives building was full of history and the battlefield gave a sense of what the battle may have been like. Much like visiting a US Civil War battle site. Well worth our time.

Sarah was an excellent tour guide! She took us to all of the places we wanted to see and more. She provided us with so much of knowledge and history about the places we went. She spoke so emotionally and proudly of her Scottish heritage, she made us proud of our Scottish ancestors! We loved our time with her and wish it was longer.

Richie was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable on the area and the book and series Outlander😀. He even ensured we saw Nessie. I was nervous booking an excursion not provided by the cruise, but no longer. The experience was so much better with a small group and we were able to see more. Better value than ship excursions.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Absolutely AMAZING! BEST DAY EVER! Go Highlands Tours was INCREDIBLE! We’ve done several private tours around Europe over the years & this beat them all! We had a large group of 8 (with ages ranging from 19-78) all strong headed women with 1 male. George was the perfect guide to handle our crazy group. Lots of character & stories of his childhood growing up there. We hit so many sites & learned so much history & stories of their culture. We laughed so hard & saw so much. George knew everyone & by the time we left we felt like family. It was hands down the best money we spent! All of us agreed that it was our favorite tour & would love to go back & do it again. We are all sad to leave this sweet country that we have felt so welcomed in. Thank you Go Highlands Tour for an AMAZING DAY!!!

All though the sun was not shining had a great time with Sarah who took us to Dunrobin castle, Dornoch and more (truly appreciated the more). She pointed out sites that you might not have looked at originally.

Omg we had George for our tour !!! He just made my day. He is funny and wow the knowledge this man possesses. He made my dream trip to Culloden memorable. And he had me laughing all the way through the Clava Cairns If you book with them ask for George. He was by far one of the best tour guides of our dream trip. We will not forget him anytime soon.

We booked directly with Go Highlands for three custom days for our family of six. Alastair was super helpful during the planning phase and put together a terrific itinerary given our interests. We were delighted when Alastair arrived to pick us up in a comfortable private van. He's a terrific guide and shared his love of the Highlands, the history of the areas we visited, and his own personal stories which were quite interesting and entertaining. On our third day, George, Alastair's business partner, took us out for the day and we had a really fun day of Scottish culture and great story telling. He too was a wonderful and entertaining companion for the day. We will definitely book with them again on our next trip to the Highlands.

George's of Go Highlands provided us with a great small group excursion to Outlander sites in Scotland. We had a great time listening to his stories and visiting the sites. Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Urquart Castle and Loch Ness. Great tour that got us back to the ship in Invergordon right on time.

Sarah did an amazing job. Information was very thorough and fascinating. Really liked the Loch Ness Center stop for the gin tasting and a bite to eat.

from reserving to the returning to ship, all were handled beatifully nice. Also our guide, Alistair, was really cool guy. Easy to talk to and lot’s of knowledge about the area. Car was clean and good.

Our guide was Alistair, who was really excellent tour guide. Wide knowledge and passion for all things not only around Inverness but also Scotland. Highly recommend! Also the sites we visited were really good, I think we got most of our cruise stop in Invergordon

Alistair our guide was most informative and entertaining. We had a great time. Small group. Due to weather we opted to change some of our plans which worked for all of the group.

We booked our tour directly with Go Highlands Tours. fast and easy booking, at an affordable price. When arriving at Invergordon port with Aida, we were surprised of being the only guests for this tour. So Alastair made it a remarkable private tour for us. He showed us all around the interesting and fascinating places, had a lot to explain and really some in-depth knowledge on the history of the Scottish clans and the riots against the British. We had plenty of time, no stress at all, a nice and clean car. Alastair made it a remarkable trip for us and I would recommend everyone to book there - we also met George, the other owner of Go Highlands - and he seems a one-of-a-kind man. So, both guides are great. We´re certainly coming back to Scotland. And- by the way- the weather was quite okay !!!

George with Go Highlands was the ultimate tour guide! He gave us a lot of history, showed us specific areas that were of interest to us, catered the day to our wishes, and we had wonderful conversation with him all day. This was such a wonderful tour. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were on a smaller can with our family or 4 and one other couple. It was the perfect mix between driving around and time to explore. Our tour guide made small adjustments based on our interests. I would highly recommend!
