The guide was ok, hitting the top spots to visit but I’ve subscribed to better ones elsewhere. This one could narrate on some more local history during long periods of driving. I thought Trip Advisor had developed this app but it just took me to the app provider where I saw the same trip guide for half the price so I’ll be contacting Trip Advisor for a refund of the difference as they have a low price guarantee.
This one only covered half the island whereas the provider had 3 trips. One for north one for south and a whole island trip

We understand your concern about the pricing. The tour was booked in Austrian Dollars (AUD), while the price displayed on the app is in US Dollars (USD). After conversion, the prices are indeed the same. This information was conveyed via email to you about this.
Additionally, we have clearly mentioned that the provider is Trippy Tour Guide, and our app includes a detailed map and list of stops, which are visible here on TripAdvisor clearly. We're sorry for any confusion regarding the expectations.

The self-guided tour allowed us to take in the beauty of Skye at our leisure. The provided information enhanced our journey, making it educational and enjoyable.
I would recommend checking the email after the booking as you need to download a SEPERATE APP . We got confused at first but the support was helpful & guided us perfectly

As a solo traveler, this app was my perfect companion. User-friendly interface made navigation a breeze. Loved how the GPS-triggered audio started automatically as I approached points of interest. As a first-time visitor to the Isle of Skye, this self-guided tour made my experience incredibly enjoyable. The audio tour is mostly driving directions and safety tips. There is very little information about the history and culture. That might be fine for some people but I was expecting more given the price. Also, the audio came late so we had just passed a turn when it played. It is scary to turn around on the Scottish roads so we just kept going, missing a few of the sights.

We tried it. The route guidance to the starting location went well. At start the map kept spinning. We got quite a story, but the instructions on how to drive were not clear. English is not our native language and we had to pay close attention to the road. Driving with a car. The combination of concentrated listening, driving and unclear directions made us decide to stop after 3 attempts. But probably not a problem for the nation of English people
