About
First, we pass by around Dunvegan Castle and see the pretty flowers and plants in the gardens. The castle has a lot of history. Then, you can go to Claigan Coral Beach. It's a beach with white sand that looks like coral. It's a nice place for a walk.
Next, you can visit the famous Neist Point Lighthouse. It stands on the edge of the sea and is a good place to take pictures. If you like whisky, you can try some at the Talisker Distillery. They make the drink there and can tell you how it's made. The Cuillin Mountains are very big and are a beautiful part of Skye. You can also go to the Fairy Pools, which are small waterfalls and pools of clear water that look like they come from a fairy tale.
Lastly, there's an old bridge called the Sligachan Bridge. It has old stories about it. Walking over the bridge gives you great views and makes you feel like you're part of Skye's old stories.

- D3718HWdank0 contributionsVery disappointingI'm reluctant to give a poor rating but I feel I owe candor to my fellow travellers. Clunky unless you start at the beginning and follow in the prescribed loop. Disliked the narrator's voice and, in any case, a Scottish accent would have been better. Most disappointing was the vapid content. And the gratuitous safety warnings were irritating.Written 3 August 2024
- LPom0 contributionsDisappointedDissatisfied. Very clunky interface that’s not intuitive at all and hard to move around. Doesn’t move with you. Still looks for a gps signal even though I downloaded in advance. Also - only one part of Skye- misses many great sites. Don’t recommendWritten 21 July 2024
- 12davideh0 contributionsHistory comes alive through your car speakersExcellent narration brought Skye's past to life as we drove. The app's audio quality remained crisp throughout, and the balance between commentary and quiet drive time was perfect. It sparked fascinating conversations between us and deepened our appreciation of the island.Written 7 July 2024
- K4521IOjanetm0 contributionsAccessible touring for all abilitiesThe app provided great info on accessibility at each stop, including terrain difficulty. This helped our group plan our stops effectively, considering one friend's mobility issues. It made our trip inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.Written 7 July 2024
- 859RebeccaS0 contributionsExpensive driving directions. The audio tour is mostly driving directions and safety tips. There is very little information about the history and culture. That might be fine for some people but I was expecting more given the price. Also, the audio came late so we had just passed a turn when it played. It is scary to turn around on the Scottish roads so we just kept going, missing a few of the sights.Written 6 July 2024
- car0lwp0 contributionsStress-free navigation around SkyeThe app's clear audio prompts for upcoming turns meant the driver could focus on the road while still enjoying the commentary. Brilliant for those winding coastal routes! It made our family road trip so much more relaxed and enjoyable.Written 5 July 2024

- annahE5687AA0 contributionsTech-savvy touring at its finestAs a solo traveler, this app was my perfect companion. User-friendly interface made navigation a breeze. Loved how the GPS-triggered audio started automatically as I approached points of interest. The app's battery usage was surprisingly efficient too. It felt like having a knowledgeable local friend guiding me around the island.Written 26 June 2024
- darrelll2250 contributionsDisappointedThe guide was ok, hitting the top spots to visit but I’ve subscribed to better ones elsewhere. This one could narrate on some more local history during long periods of driving. I thought Trip Advisor had developed this app but it just took me to the app provider where I saw the same trip guide for half the price so I’ll be contacting Trip Advisor for a refund of the difference as they have a low price guarantee. This one only covered half the island whereas the provider had 3 trips. One for north one for south and a whole island tripWritten 5 May 2024
- l0uisip0 contributionsA Virtual Tour Guide in Your PocketThe wealth of information provided on each stop along the way truly enhanced our experience.
