Good Trip to Blarney Castle, Cobh, and Jameson
Oct 2019
This was booked through us through our travel company, Brendan Vacations. The tour guide was fun and willing to answer questions we had. Stops included Blarney Castle, Cobh, and Jameson. The price included entry into each. We went by Fota Wildlife Park but I don't remember having the option to stop but the 7 of us on the bus were all planning on Jameson so that might have been why. We had about 2 hours at each stop and lunch was on your own at Cobh. The driver made sure we knew where to meet him each time so no problems with that.

HI there Brittany, Thank you for your review on our tour. Yes we do go by Fota and have a stop there but the time in the day only allows for 3 stops of the 4 available. So if you were visiting Jameson then that is why we would not stop then at Fota Hope to see you again soon on one of our many tours Regards Paddywagon Team

Bus ride round Cork
Jun 2019 • Couples
We were visiting Cork for the first time and this seemed the easest way to see the sights ,it was just over one hour long and had plenty of pick up points.

charming Irish seaport - the last one visited by the Titanic

For first time visitors wanting an easy way of seeing the sights, the Hoppep Bus line was a quick tour of the hills and attactions of Cork City. The Hopper Bus has a pickup point within sight of the railway station (if you are arriving by a cruise ship) .

Bus ride around town
We did this because we didn’t know anything about Cork and it’s a pretty large city to get around. We rode the whole route which was just over one hour. Learned all about the city and sights to see. The bus driver was fabulous and helpful. It was worth 15 euro to learn about the city and history. It helpful us figure out where to hang out as well. You buy tickets on the bus. Just find a stop and get on. The bus website is good and helpful too.

Total rip-off
Oct 2018 • Couples
Bought this tour to see Cork. While advertised as a hopper bus, driver refused us entry at some near our hotel. We were sent all the way across town to the opposite side of a closed bridge. When we finally made our way to the office, we were told that the noon tour bus had left (11:45am was the time). In addition, the later tour would not be held as the driver was to be off work at 4. No refund was possible, but they would arrange a tour in Galway (our destination the next day). Then, woops!, all Galway tours ended by the first of October. Worse experience and treatment of our entire time in Ireland. If there was a negative rating, this bus would have it

A Great Day
Jul 2018 • Friends
At our tour guide’s suggestion, we bought a discounted ticket from him for Blarney Castle (12 euros, compared to 16-18 euros if you get the ticket at the castle) and headed straight to the castle around 10:00, and the line was already at an hour’s wait. However, we didn’t mind this, because the line goes through the castle, and it was neat to take in the castle’s feel. The passageways and stairs definitely narrow and become steeper as you get closer to the top, but the view and experience were well worth it! We spent some time walking through the gardens before heading back to the hopper for 12:00. We felt that we could have spent far more time exploring the castle’s grounds, so we asked if there was a later bus we could catch. The tour guide, Brian, told us he’d be back at 2:00, so we opted to stay until then. We were glad to have had that extra time there, and even with that, we still didn’t have enough time to go to the Woollen Mills store. We definitely could have spent the whole day there! The hopper then took us to Cobh, which was a beautiful harbour town that we had 2 hours of free time in. We decided to go to St. Colman’s Cathedral and took a walk up to the coloured houses, and spent the rest of our time exploring the town. We weren’t as interested in doing the Titanic Experience there, but that would have been an option, too. We then returned to Cork around 6:00. Had we only spent the 2 hours in Blarney, we would have been able to add an optional stop at either Jameson or Fota Wildlife Park, but we were more than satisfied with how the day went! It's a great option for those without a car wishing to explore the area surrounding Cork.

Cork City Bus Tour
As this was our first visit & only a 2hr 30min stop we decided to take bus tour. We were lucky to have a driver with a great sense of humour. She proceeded to test her brakes on steep Strawberry Hill, thankfully they worked well! The trip lasted for about 1hr 30 mins; tickets are €13 for Seniors & students,& an adult ticket is €15. The route weaves backwards & forwards over the many bridges of the river Lee. Many churches & important buildings are highlighted on the tour, too many to remember! The bus was driven skilfully round some of the tightest bends, down some of the narrowest streets as well as up & down some of the steepest roads I've seen! This is a "must do" trip!

Blarney Castle & Cobh from Cork - Wonderful Tour!!
Jun 2018 • Friends
Had the wonderful day visiting Blarney Castle in the morning and then Cobh in the afternoon! We were given free time in both spots which was perfect. Our wonderful driver gave us many suggestions on what to see! He was very knowledgable, accomodating, and entertaining. His name has escaped me but our tour left from Cork on June 29th.

Perfect way to see Cork, Cobh, and Blarney!
From the start, Tim in the office was very welcoming and informative when we were buying our tickets! Jamie our driver was awesome! Great information and very keen not to lose any of us :)
As they recommended to us, do Blarney first (0930 bus) and get right up to the stone! We had no wait and were able to enjoy the gardens unbothered by the masses who started arriving as we were getting back to the bus.
Then on to Cobh, probably could’ve spent more time there but it’s a tiny town and we decided to have lunch. The Quays had a great lunch on the water and the Heritage Center, Cobh Museum had a special exhibit on the US Navy in Cobh and awesome ancestry resources!
We could’ve done the FOTA or Jameson, but decided to head back to Cork City. It was a pleasure and great way to avoid the stress of driving, especially right before the arrival of Prince Charles!
Thank you!
