Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do it. Really, I mean it, no better way to get to know a city you do not know, interesting informations of times past and present, very good and precise guide through the streets and around the corners. I recommend it highly

We’ve done similar self guided tours before and chose this one for our first trip to Cork.
Found them a really good way to see a city at your own pace - we took tea breaks and a spot of lunch too. You just carry on at the last stop.
Found it really informative, the stops well spaced out and directions helpful and spot on.
Price is very competitive for a trip in a city.

Easy to use and follow. Headphones preferable but not essential. Gives a good account of the history of this magical city

Picturesque and friendly. We saw most of the sights in one week, no problem. You could still do it justice in 3-4 days. Blarney Castle was a highlight. Lots of pubs and eateries. Some very good food including fish, beef and lamb. Beamish local beer a favorite over Guinness, from Dublin. Love the live local music in many pubs. Laidback city. Bus system tricky to understand, locals are good to help.

Superb guidance and very engaging commentary. I couldn't quite work out the automatic way in which the app was to recognise where I was and pick up the narration, but I think that was me rather than it!
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is our first experience with VoiceMap and it exceeded our expectations. The guide Mairin "gave us" an outstanding tour of the city, asking us to stop at specific points, giving us the history of the place and adding some anecdotes... Since they get your exact location via the phone, the explanations were very well synchronized with our location and us moving around...
With the exception of not being able to "ask questions" (still you can replay a part if you miss something!), this was far superior than an in person guided tour... You do it at your own pace, you can stop for coffee whenever you like and you do not miss anything about the tour.
We will do it again!

Very interesting tour, even though we had already walked around Cork ourselves. Lots of background information about Cork and its history.
