Paid to skip the line as we only had a limited time on Dublin, but not really necessary for us as it turned out and not sure it was worth it?
we were expecting the guide to give the tour but at the distillery, he literally got us the tickets as we waited outside then handed us onto the tour guide from the distillery. it was a good tour with 3 small tastings included- only one was whiskey- for comparison.
Then he walked us to the Guinness storehouse and stopped along the way with some lively information. Again he got us in, and then it was a really whistle stop 20 mins up the 7 floors to the top where he handed us the free drinks vouchers and then left us to our own devices. He was a lovely bloke but it wasn't what we thought we were getting. Perhaps we read it wrong.
You could have spent all day in the Guinness storehouse - it was huge and tons of information all over.
If you are not going at high season, I would question whether you need to do this. On a very busy day it could save you hours.

Hi Alison, thank you for your review however it appears that you were not on our tour. We offer fully guided tours with incredible narration and stops as well as included drinks and samplings. We agree that you could spend all day in the Guinness Storehouse, that's why our tour shows visitors the very best highlights so that you are not wandering around missing out on what every visitor should see. We also bring all our guests to the Gravity Bar for a free pint of Guinness which is truly magical as our tours guests have a Pint poured exclusively for them and get to enjoy it while being treated to the best views of Dublin city.

This was a nice tour!! Our tour guide Brian was very personable and knowledgable about the city of Dublin. I am glad that this tour combined both Guinness and Jameson because I would not have paid for both separately. I thought the Jameson tour was absolutely worth it. It was very interactive, our guide was great, and the tasting element was special and intimate. The Guinness side of things was not really anything special. Yes, you get a pint of Guinness and do a miniature tasting, but it is pretty basic and did not wow us. I will also say that in Jameson, because it is a smaller building, they give you your own tour guide for that whereas Guinness is a huge building so we suck with Brian, our tour guide from LetzGo for that. I appreciate the convenience of having the LetsGo tour guide and thought they did a wonderful job, but if I were to go to Dublin again or recommend it to a friend, I would just go straight to the Jameson building and book a tour there. If someone was insistent on doing BOTH Guinness and Jameson, I would 100% recommend this tour because it provided some structure to the Guinness, when in all honesty the Guinness has no real structure and without a tour, you would just be wandering around aimlessly.

Hi Allyson, thank you for your highly rated review and for recommending our best-selling Guinness & Whiskey tour. We are delighted that you enjoyed Brian's expertise and storytelling and ability to show you a great time as well as the best highlights of two of Ireland's top venues. With so much to see and do in both venues having an expert guide show you top highlights of these top 2 cultural Irish attractions as well as the hidden treasures in addition to experiencing incredible sample interactions and included drinks while among new friends is something that our tour guests truly appreciate. Brian is a great guide who is passionate about giving each of his tours the very best tour experience as well as providing a structure to the five-story Guinness Storehouse that can be a very overwhelming location to truly discover. For this reason, we have been winning awards for the past 8 years. Allyson, Thank you for recommending us to future visitors to Dublin. Best Regards,

Our tour guide had no shortage of stories and tidbits about the city to keep us entertained as we walked to and from venues. He was a fantastic guide.

The tour inside Jameson was very interactive and well done and the Guiness Storehouse is just damn impressive!

The guide has no role as he is not allowed in at both the placea. Further he misled us into believing that we are 15 minutes early(for what?) and took us to a pub the Brazenhead. He made us all buy drinks. I am sure he receives commissions. This is highly illegal and unprofessional. We should get the fee refunded.

Neil did a great job and provided lots of insight, he made the tour enjoyable and entertaining. The line itself wasn’t an issue on the day I went but having someone walk around with you and giving you information was well worth the money. Visiting a local pub was another plus for our small group to just sit and chat for a bit before moving on to Guinness.

The Jameson tour delightful. What I loved the most was Guinnes. A particular note on the tour guide called Neil was really enthusiastic and helpfull. He even took the whole group to the oldest pub in Dublin called the Brazen Head for an extra beer.

This tour was AMAZING.

Such an awesome experience learning about the history of both Jameson and Guinness!

Antonio was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, and fun! A nice walk between the distillery and the storehouse where Antonio was able to impart a ton of knowledge about Dublin (which is fascinating by the way).

Both tours come with plenty of tastings and drinks at the end.

Totally recommend this tour! 10/10!!

Loved this place. Loved learning about the brewery and how it started to the current modern day brewers. Seeing the original St James Gate brewery and browsing around took us around 1.5 hours. Finished off with a couple of pints of Irelands finest.

At the end the bar selling guiness with your printed face is a nice touch.

Def recommend this place to anyone visiting Ireland.
