Splintter in my eye but warmth in my heart
Oct 2021 • Family
Jess was an amazing tour guide and she was very kind and cheerful. Just minutes before the tour started I got a really bad splintter to my eye and she was very caring and helpful, and did everything to aid my situation. Thank you so much, Jess!
And Anthony was a good driver, too.

Wonderful trip and sightseeing
Oct 2021 • Friends
Jess has been a very nice and charming guide.
She was very careful to not make the trip boring and her preparation about Irish history was very accurate, as the way of exposition.
A good irony has been the cherry on the top.
Anthony has been a fast and safe driver.

Nice typical music on board!

Worth it if you want to escape the city a bit
Oct 2021
Overall, the tour was nice, and we were really really lucky with the weather, and since this is mostly a nature trip, it made the whole experience great. I like the energy of our guide, Jess, but there were some issues with the bus audio system, so we could barely hear her for the duration of our trip.
Glendalough and Wicklow mountains have some awesome landscapes, it's well worth a trip there if you're in Dublin for a few days. also the sheep dog demonstration was really interesting, the shepherd has a great sense of humour and he also brought out puppies. Kilkenny felt a bit too far way for what it offered though, not great, not terrible. Again, the sunshine helped and we got some nice views from the castle's park.
We went in 2 tours with the Finn McCools company, and in this one the organisation was not really that punctual. Some couple was late 30 minutes and we had to wait for them on the bus, since everybody was ready to go. I'm not saying that at some point the tour guide should have decided to leave them in Kilkenny, but at the same time, I'm not not saying it.

Overall worth it, and the price is very reasonable for what you get.

THE Tour Company You Should Seek Out
Oct 2021 • Couples
We took three tours with three different companies from Dublin, and Finn McCools was hands down the best. Jess was a spectacular guide and a breathe of fresh air compared to some of the crusty and/or creepy guides that you often get with things like this. Michael was a very good driver and never once made me concerned. As far as the tour itself, the sites are beautiful, the sheep dog show is a must see experience (we got lucky that there were puppies!), and Kilkenny is a fantastic town to spend a couple hours.

A must for tours
Oct 2021 • Couples
My husband and I and spending some time in Dublin for our honeymoon and booked this tour for one of our days. The tour was very nice and interesting. I like that we had free time to roam where we wanted and grab some food an drink at a couple of the places we stopped. The stop with the sheep dogs was so interesting and we got to see puppies. Jess was very pleasant and informative. A very good tour all around.

A Lovely Day Outside of Dublin
Oct 2021 • Friends
This was a thoughtful, affordable, and informative tour. Jess was great and it was neat to see such amazing places less than 2 hours outside the city center!

This is a great to do if you want to enjoy stunning countryside, AMAZING sheepdogs, and get a little hike in.
