And if you’re lucky enough to have Shane as your guide, you’re in for an extra-special treat! Shane has a way of making everyone feel like you're a long time pal, he's best at cracking jokes, and sharing fascinating little tidbits about the history of the area and keeping things related to the tour. This is our second time doing the tour and Shane once again, did not disappoint. On our next visit back to Ireland, we plan to book the 9-hour tour and will request Shane again!! Thank you, Shane for another great memory!!

This tour was my absolute favorite thing to do in the Dublin Mountains. Shane has put lots of care and research into choosing wonderful pubs for our enjoyment. Everyone had a wonderful sense of humor and made us feel like well- respected members of the community. The song- along at the end of the night was a big plus.

Amazing time with amazing views, and Shane has everyone feeling like family by the end of the tour. The pubs he takes you to are the exact small Irish pubs you would imagine when thinking of Ireland. Must do!! I was honestly sad to say goodbye to the Amazing Shane at the end of the night and all our tour mates! I got teary eyed! We made fast friends, loved all the pubs, dinner was delish and the music at the end was a perfect way to end the amazing day!! Thanks for the wonderful experience Shane!

What an absolutely wonderful day/evening! My husband and I booked this tour to get out of Dublin a bit and get to see a few of the rural pubs in the area. We were not disappointed! Every single person we met along the way was so warm and friendly (as is the way in Ireland) and we loved the group we took the tour with (9 in total). We all chatted amongst ourselves and with Shane (it's his business and he runs the tours) and by the end of the evening it was hugs all around and a final beer for a few of us at a Dublin pub. I highly recommend this tour - worth every penny and then some!!

We travelled as a group of six and had a fantastic time. Shane our driver/guide was brilliant, kept us all entertained during the trip and we enjoyed the sing along to some great Irish songs. The six pubs we visited all had their own unique character and it was great to mix with the locals. On our tour we were a mixture of UK (our group), American and Canadian and we all got on great. We would highly recommend this excellent tour.

Shane was a wonderful tour guide. He took our tour group to so many fantastic pubs in the countryside & shared such wonderful stories & really took us to some memorable pubs & was highly effective and efficient in making sure our tour group had a lovely and delicious dining experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting the lovely countryside around Dublin & experiencing the fantastic beers that Irish has to offer!

Absolutely wonderful!! I can’t say enough good things about this tour. We were a little afraid that nine hours would seem like a long time but we would have happily continued at the end. Shane is among the best tour guides we’ve ever had and we do a lot of tours. Don’t miss this one!

As an American vacationing in Dublin, and staying in the city center, people have told me that there is no way to have an "authentic" pub experience because the area is too touristy. I will recommend the 9 hour Rural Pub Tour to everyone I meet heading to Dublin. You'll mingle with fellow tour goers, local pub patrons and your guide, Shane, who is an absolute pro. I know 9 hours sounds like a lot for a pub tour, but it is actually perfectly timed. Six stops, one longer for dinner, one with live music and there is a lot of driving scenic roads in between. I can't imagine doing half the stops. Every pub is a different experience. My husband and I took the tour about a year and a half ago and we were just back in Dublin for our honeymoon and this was on our "must do" list. Both times we got on the tour fresh off of our flight from the US and it was a great way to kick off our trip. We went into our vacation pumped full of knowledge of local beverages. We are already planning a third round and we will come back again and again.

Was one of the best experiences. Shane was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable; the pubs were all charming, friendly and most of all Fun!

Awesome pub tour! Sean took great care of us and we were able to see beautiful parts of the Wicklow mountains. You do not have to drunk at every stop if you don’t want to, but I was able to have a different beer at each stop and all were winners! Highly recommend!!

This was the best part of our trip to Dublin. Shane was an amazing host and went above and beyond in every part of the trip. The pubs were in small villages and each one had its own special charm. The locals in each pub were so welcoming and added a lot. This would be a great trip for couples, families or corporate outings.
