- nicolarR7986YA0 contributionsA wonderful way to see Dublin sights. We were perfectly informed and entertained during our journey around Dublin. Gareth kept our spirits high on a cold morning with several sing-alongs, whilst balancing serious historical facts with funny stories and cheeky banter. A brilliant guide and driver. Definitely highly recommended.Written 9 February 2025
- 701fanig0 contributionsAmazingOur guide Finn was amazing. It was so much fun learning about the legends of Dublin. They spooked us pretty good but it was worth and I'd do it againWritten 7 February 2025
- sofiamavros0 contributionsGareth is the guide you want for a 5 star experience! We were so lucky to have Gareth as our bus driver. He does a live guided tour rather than the voice recording. It was brilliant - I can’t recommend it enough. His knowledge of the city was deep and insightful. He was able to sprinkle a bit of humour and throw in some live singing to bring to life stories of the people and places that make up this charming Dublin. Thank you!Written 6 February 2025
- Emma H0 contributionsBrilliantExcellent service & 2 brilliant funny drivers. We all really enjoyed the bus tour around Dublin. Very highly recommendedWritten 4 February 2025
- sharonhL1993OU0 contributionsThe hop and off bus plus visit to Dublin Museum. The hop and off bus had great drivers , with a very informative commentary. They went above and beyond to make the experience Enjoyable and knowledgeable. I also had a ticket to the Dublin Museum. Had a very knowledgeable hour with our host George . I would recommend a visit to find out about Dublin over the centuries.Written 4 February 2025
- 778annmariei0 contributionsGreat city tourFantastic ... Great way to see the city. Our driver John was very knowledgeable, and made the journey a very enjoyable one with his cheeky banter and witty jokes.Written 4 February 2025
- Vivien R0 contributionsA great way to learn a little more about the cityAll of our guides were great. Ritchie was hilarious! Visited Dublin for the rugby but wanted to see more than the amazing pubs :-) We purchased our tickets through Groupon which gave us about a €10 discount each. Fantastic value. Buses were frequent, running about every 20 minutes and we always managed a spot on the top deck. Would recommend stopping at the Little Museum which is included in your bus ticket price (and is ordinarily €15 entry)Written 3 February 2025

- ncsubourgelath0 contributionsTip Top DriversRichie and Alex welcomed us to Dublin on a wet Irish day! With tip top service, stories and views it was wonderful to listen and ride and enjoy while working off a jet lag. From Alex's whisky chat to Richie's personal family stories and humor, it was lovely to connect with these gentleman riders. Richie even made sure our tour was guided knowing it was our first time in Ireland! We are excited to hop on tomorrow as well!Written 2 February 2025
- Global6343980 contributionsBest tour guide and best way to start tripRichie was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, funny and so very kind. This was the first event we did when arriving in Ireland and it was the perfect way to begin our trip. We learned so many facts but most importantly were given insight into the locations we wanted to visit. We loved every moment.Written 2 February 2025
- 679martind0 contributionsGreat service.A great experience! We hopped on and off twice, each time we had a different driver, both were friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We didn't get the first drivers name but the second was a lady called Carla/Carly She was great, a possible comedienne or singer. Treated us to a full rendition of 'Molly Malone' Highly entertaining. Both drivers had an incredible knowledge about the beautiful city of Dublin, we were very pleased. Could not recommend highly enough and discovered so many interesting facts about Dublin, better than the usual trip where you plug in earphones and listen to actors. We'll definitely use this service the next time we're in Dublin. Well done Carla/CarlyWritten 1 February 2025
- maxdY9901GW0 contributionsGhost Bus TourThis was a really fun tour! I would classify as more entertaining that spooky. Great to learn some of the ghostly history of Dublin. Only downside was seeing things out the window this time of the year was basically impossible. Otherwise the on site experience was amazing!Written 29 January 2025
- 526et0 contributionsSpooky fun for one!I had an amazing time on the Dublin GhostBus Tour! Franklin, the driver, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the scares up right from the start. The host, Reagan, was FANTASTIC! She really brought the stories to life with her great storytelling and spooky energy, ensuring plenty of scares and screams throughout the tour. She’s very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and her passion for Dublin’s haunted history really shone through. I was a bit nervous to go to such an interactive tour alone, but the whole experience was so much fun, a bit eerie, and definitely memorable! Huge thanks to Reagan and Franklin - Highly recommend for anyone looking for a spooky adventure in Dublin!!Written 28 January 2025
- Culture088262199650 contributionsBest Hop on Hop off in Dublin!!!!One of the best hop on hop off tours I have been on. The guide we got was incredible and told us so much more than you would usually get with the automated guide. The amount of deals you can get also with the tickets is also really great!!!! Couldn't recommend more for first time Dublin visitors.Written 26 January 2025

I took my 9 year old niece on this tour and it was absolutely brilliant! Our tour guide was Damien and he was just stellar! A born entertainer and the kids just loved him, as did the adults, he had us all hanging on his every word.
The tour is really good fun for the adults too and you do learn quite a bit in a really fun way. There are macabre stories, tons of participation from the guests and we spent the whole rest of the day doing the Ghostbusters dance. (I actually caught myself still doing it next morning with my fingers on the commute to work!) It’s very engaging.
I would recommend this for both tourists and for Dubliners themselves, it’s really good fun. My niece is quite timid but she was seat-dancing right along beside me and full of energy and enthusiasm throughout. It’s a great way to learn a bit of history with the kids and have some fun and laughs. The content is appropriate too.
We’re Dubliners and my niece has already asked if I will take her on the tour again later this year so it was a huge success for a first time Auntie!

Would def recommend - for Dubliners and non Dubliners alike. The bus looks pretty cool on the inside
Damian the guide told spooky stories on history and literature supported by plenty of props. He was kind to all the kids on the bus, and included everyone - Francis the driver got in on the action too. Thanks a mil, both!

A wonderful afternoon spent with the family on the Ghostbus Kids Tour in Dublin yesterday. Frances, our driver was so friendly and she made us all feel very welcome on boarding the bus. Our tour guide “Scary Jimmy” was absolutely fantastic! Told plenty of spooky stories & interesting facts throughout the tour - all of which were pitched perfectly for the kids and kept them captivated, engaged and just the right level of scared!!!! Threw in a good few “in jokes” and some adult humour to keep the parents amused too. Jimmy made sure that every child participated and was interacting - through a fun quiz (two teams - werewolves v vampires), the use of props (the torture devices were a hit!) and during the Ghostbusters themed ghost hunt through Merrion Square. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the Ghostbus Kids Tour and gave it a big thumbs up! Highly recommended.

Wasn't really sure how the kids would react to this tour as the buzz of Halloween has passed and we're now on the Christmas countdown but any worries I had quickly disapperared as soon as we stepped on the bus. Scary Jimmy must be the friendliest and also the funniest Ghost in Dublin! The kids loved him and managed to keep them entertained throughout the whole tour not.once did we get is it over yet! Driver Francis was great with the kids too so.pleasant as we got on The bus itself is like a haunted house so got the kids excited as soon as they seen it:) Definitely recommend this tour with the kids and amytime of the year they will have a blast:)

Soooo good. Great mix of creepy stories + facts about Dublin, interwoven with a highly competitive front vs back of bus creepy quiz. Loads of chances for the kids to volunteer and ask questions. And one or two little jump scares to keep us all on our toes. All the action kept the kids really engaged and the time flew by. Loved it. Massive thanks to Damien!!

This is a fantastic activity for kids. My ten year old loved it. Lots of spooky stories but definitely kid friendly and appropriate. Our guide, Damian, was brilliant, so entertaining and upbeat. Our driver, Frances, was really lovely, very welcoming and so kind to the kids on the bus. I heard her mention to one group to let her know if they got scared and she would look after them. Really enjoyable, I would definitely recommend.

Great activity for the kids. Damian was a great host and I'd like to say a personal thank you to Francis the bus driver for his kindness and patience towards my daughter who was a little afraid to get on the bus in the beginning. I would highly recommend this tour to any families visiting Dublin.
