About
Eliminate the need to rent a car on this full-day tour of the Dingle Peninsula, including stops at Inch Beach and Slea Head. The roads through this scenic area are narrow and winding and the scenery is stunning, so you'll be glad to have a driver focusing on the road. Highlights include the historically Irish-speaking Dingle Town, the stone huts at the Gallarus Oratory, and the famous surf spot at Inch Beach.

Highlights
Skip the stress of navigating narrow, winding roads with round-trip transport
Learn about this Irish-speaking enclave from a guide's commentary
Comfortable tour bus with large windows gives panoramic views as you travel
Departure from central location in Killarney
What to expect
Meet your coach in central Killarney for pickup. Settle in to a comfortable seat and get your camera ready for the dozens of photo ops of the dramatic scenery headed your way. With a professional driver navigating, you are free to focus on the views during this windy drive on narrow roads around the Dingle Peninsula.  Pass Inch Beach, a wind-swept peninsula popular with surfers and kite-flyers, on the way to charming Dingle Town, where you have some free time to wander on your own. This primarily Irish-speaking hamlet has plenty of great places for lunch (own expense) and a lovely harbor for a walk.  Back on the bus, head for Slea Head, the most westerly point in Europe; and the outlying Blasket Islands. On the return trip to Killarney, make a stop at the Gallarus Oratory, considered the best-preserved early Christian church in Ireland.

Dingle is Great, Ray Makes it Fantastic
Oct 2019
In October 2019 we took a full day tour of the Dingle Peninsula with Ray as our guide. The scenery is beautiful and of course there are water views everywhere. The reason this review is being written is that our driver Ray is what made it all work. He's a long-time local who understands so much about the area and it's history and people and shares it in a way that makes it informative and entertaining. If you like to grow your understanding of the people you are visiting and what;s important to them and why, then do your best to book a trip with Ray as you'll come away with relevant and interesting information.

Great way to see the Dingle Peninsula
Sep 2019
Spent the day on this tour -- Maurice was our driver. He was very entertaining, had lots of information about the area, made plenty of stops for photo ops. This was a great way to see the Dingle Peninsula -- without having to drive (which we wouldn't have wanted to do -- very narrow roads, sometimes only wide enough for the tour bus!)

This Deros Tour was Amazing!!!
Oct 2019 • Friends
I am so freaking grateful to trip advisor for recommending this Deros tour which was indeed THE BEST!! Maurice our driver was so full of facts and humor and kept our interest all day long, he made a bunch of stops so we could really experience the beauty outside, instead of just on the bus, and pointed out incredible things all day that we never could have known or noticed from trying to rent a car and do it ourselves. Having a knowledgeable Irish tour guided tour via bus was the best decision ever and I am so glad that I was too scared to drive on the opposite side of the road because I could not have done the dingle peninsula in a better way! Thank you times a million!!!

Dingle
Ray was a wealth of information and history. Lots of stops for photo opportunities and dad jokes aplenty. If you're lucky enough to get him as a tour driver, you're lucky enough.

Most Beautiful Landscapes I've ever seen
Oct 2019 • Couples
This was hands down one of the most beautiful drives I've ever experienced. Seriously, if you go to Ireland and you don't check this out you're missing out. We were also very happy to see that we had the same guide we had had for a tour the previous day, Ray! He was very friendly, humorous, and he was filled with knowledge on the history and folklore of the areas we visited. He also has nerves of steal to be able to drive those winding Irish cliffside roads in a coach bus!

Ray is a excellent driver/guide and doing a tour is the way to go. We really appreciate you taken the time to post up this review. Thanks a million and we hope we see you again in Ireland in the not too distant future.

Ray is the best guide!
Oct 2019 • Couples
We loved every bit of this tour! Ray was the perfect guide. He told stories of the area that we would not have gotten anywhere else. He stopped very often, so you could get the perfect pictures along the whole tour. He even made a special stop near a beautiful beach while the weather was good and it was incredible! We highly recommend the tour and i hope you get Ray for a guide.

Only way to do the Dingle Peninsula
Sep 2019
Easy to find on Main street for departure. We had 16 people on the tour so it was very comfortable on the bus. Our driver and guide was Morris who was both informative and funny. We stopped at Inch Beach for about 25 minutes. There are bathrooms and a café there. Then we drove Slea Head and Dingle. We stopped along the road multiple times to take pictures. We finally ended in the town of Dingle where we had an hour to grab a bite to eat and shop before heading back to Killarney. With the narrow roads and not knowing where the pull-offs would be there it would be very difficult for you to appreciate Dingle peninsula if you were driving it yourself.
