- Resort012987891120 contributionsBest tour of Dingle!Amazing and must do tour! The tour was the most informative we had while in Ireland. Dingle Oeninsula was absolutely beautiful and the guide knew the right places to stop based on our interests. She was very kind and gracious, and a very safe driver on those narrow lanes. Would absolutely recommend!Written 7 December 2024
- annsparling0 contributionsWonderful trip! When we needed a transfer from Kinsale, Ireland to the Dingle peninsula we were lucky enough to find Ray and the Walkwithme tour company. Ray was a marvelous communicator, the car was roomy and comfortable and we were so happy to have a local person help us see the sights and hear the stories of the regions we were passing through. We are so grateful to Ray for his help and expertise. We recommend him completely. Thank you, Ray! Ann White Nashville, Tennessee USAWritten 4 November 2024
- 7Mick5360 contributionsOutstanding tour guideOutstanding tour. Mary, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the entire area. She encouraged us to stop along the way anytime we wanted to take pictures. We hit all of the highlights on Slea Head. She was also very helpful with tips for the rest of our itinerary along the Great Atlantic Way. We both highly recommend her and her company. Thank you!Written 16 September 2024
- Blessed07070 contributionsSpecial Memories!!If you're interested in a private tour of Ireland don't hesitate to book with Mary. In June my friend and I were blessed to spend 6 days with Mary exploring Ireland. She knew the best scenery routes; cool places to visit; was attentive in picking up on our interest; and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. We experienced and learned so much more than we would have on a big bus tour or traveling on our own. Mary helped make some very special memories!Written 21 July 2024
- Mike H0 contributionsDingle Penninsula Tour - the absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland and we have our guide Ray Walsh to thank for it!!The Dingle Penninsula tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland and the natural beauty of the country and rich history was enhanced greatly but the knowledge and infectious charm of our guide Ray Walsh. He tailored the experience to meet our needs which included side excursions the introduced my sons to the Irish sport of hurling and helped me track down our family homestead. Ray was as absolute gentleman and we have been regaling our family and friends with his wit and wisdom from the moment we arrived home. I cannot recommend him more highly!Written 8 July 2024
- Emilia P0 contributionsAmazing Day in Dingle with an Amazing GuideWe were lucky enough to have Mary be our guide for a fantastic tour of Dingle. From the moment I first reached out, communication was top notch. Mary and Ray respond quickly and answer all your questions. It was just my husband and I, so Mary helped customize the tour for us and arrived early, ready to go. She is wealth of knowledge, and sets a comfortable, yet energizing pace. Without a doubt, we saw and learned more than we could ever on our own. She is also just a lovely person, who makes you feel incredibly welcome, while taking pride in her beautiful country. When she heard my husband’s best friend was from Dublin, she even pointed out extra spots for pictures to share with him. We can’t wait to return and have Mary take us on the Ring of Kerry tour. There is no one my husband and I would rather spend the day with. Thank you so very much Mary. And I must end with their classic line….bye for now.Written 25 June 2024
- Relax059755153750 contributionsBest decision to treat ourselves with private tourMy cousin & I had the most amazing day with Mary on her West Cork Trip- incredible rural scenery, many lovely stops along the way, time to walk a bit, shop, best lunch at Jack's Restaurant- food and the wonderful feeling inside. It rained a bit which didn't matter at all. We highly recommend and would definitely contact her again. Rather than a star review, just to say, her historical knowledge, choice of stops and wonderful personality made us feel we had made a friend.Written 10 May 2024
- deborahhM6742JX0 contributionsAn Amazing TourI really couldn’t write a positive review that would do our experience justice! Mary was an exceptional guide. She is so knowledgeable and took care we had an amazing experience. She suggested some special stops based on our interests that we would have never found, and even made some suggestions for the coming days in Killarney that we are definitely following up on. We had an unforgettable day! I can’t recommend Walk With Me more!Written 10 May 2024
- TKSGJuly0 contributionsFabulous experience all around! What a delightful experience! Ray was an excellent historian and tour guide. We traveled from Killarney to the Cliffs of Moher and through The Burren on our way to Galway. Ray desribed sites and history all along the way and answered our many questions as first timers in the Republic. Highly recommend his tours to all!Written 16 July 2023
- jjison0 contributionsWonderful day with Ray.My daughter, grandson and I spent the day with Ray on a private Dingle Peninsula tour. What an amazing day. Ray knew the area and the history which made the experience special. We saw all the sites that we anticipated and my daughter and grandson had time to enjoy the aquarium in Dingle. Ray's flexibility was very welcome. Besides the special time at the aquarium the stop to feed lambs was special. The vehicle was comfortable and clean and the Slea Head drive was absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend this company enough. Thanks for a great day.Written 7 July 2023
- waldron10280 contributionsThe Best!If I could leave ten stars, I would. Hiring Mary and Ray for four days of touring was the single best decision we made in planning our bucket list trip to Ireland! We spent three days with Mary and one with Ray, and each day was spectacular. Not only did we see things we never would have found on our own, but their knowledge of history, customs and culture added so much to the things we saw. They were professional, but so warm and friendly, helpful, reliable and fun, and we also appreciated their advice on pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc. I cannot recommend Walk With Me Tours enough - they took our trip to the next level! Thank you so much Ray and Mary!Written 5 July 2023
- hollibc0 contributions2 Days Around KillarneyOur family of 4 spent two days with Ray exploring the Irish countryside. We absolutely loved being with him. He's professional, funny, friendly (every town we went to seemed to be filled with people Ray knows), knowledgeable, and just a true joy to be with. We not only saw amazing scenery, we learned a LOT about Irish history and culture at the same time. Ray customized every minute of our time with him to make sure we got exactly what we wanted -- don't hesitate to ask him how to make the most off your time in this amazing country! (Just beware if you ask him to put together a hike for you -- he will make sure you get your exercise on those hills!!) If you're looking for someone to show you the best of this part of Ireland (and maybe even get a hurling lesson . . . .), you cannot go wrong. :)Written 16 June 2023
- 288priscillaa0 contributionsDingle Penninsula and Cliffs of Moher areasMary was the best! In addition to the tour highlights, she showed us places we never would have found on our own. She was knowledgeable about Ireland's history, culture, customs and fun facts. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day tour!Written 4 June 2023
- KellyinPA0 contributionsGreat day tour of the Burren National Park and Cliffs of Moher!Mary Walsh did an excellent job from start to finish in a full day! She picked up our group of three at our hotel and took us to the Burren National Park from Killarney by way of Adare, Limerick, and Ennis. One of three stops in the Burren featured Poulnabrone, a Neolithic tomb portal built around 6000 years ago. Outstanding pear tart and coffee at the Burren Perfumery, then on to the Cliffs of Moher. Nice lunch at Vaughan’s Pub near the cliffs, then back to Killarney. Mary expertly pointed out all the highlights on the way while masterfully handling her comfortable Mercedes sedan. I recommend this experience to anyone!Written 18 May 2023
- C184KUhannahw0 contributionsBest day of our whole trip to IrelandI would give 10 out of 5 stars if possible! We did the Valentia, Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring tour. We had only one day in Killarney and this was absolutely the best way to spend it. Ray provided us with a recommended itinerary, taking us to the most spectacular sights and also to places off the beaten path. He was also very responsive to requests for certain stops and even added extra time into the end of our tour to visit Killarney National Park. He was so knowledgeable, generous and warm, sharing both historical facts and personal knowledge about the area. We only wish we had time for more days of touring with Ray! This was by far the best day of our week in Ireland. Seeing the sights is one thing, but having Ray to give them context added immense value to our trip. Choosing a private tour with Ray was the best money we could have spent our whole trip.Written 10 May 2023

Two of us toured the Ring of Kerry with Mary of WalkWithMe Tours. The Ring of Kerry deserves its reputation as a major scenic attraction, and Mary was a superb guide, spraying gems of information about flora, bogs, community, life in Ireland and travel strategies for our return to Dublin airport. We were in a comfortable Mercedes sedan and were grateful to have someone at the wheel so we could concentrate on the glorious scenery. We visited some "famine houses", neolithic beehive stone huts, a chocolate shop, an excellent art gallery, magnificent scenery. including immense cliffs, rainbows and portions of the Killarney National Park. We enthusiastically recommend this guide

Ray was by far one of the best tour guides we have ever had. We added a fourth person to our Ring of Kerry tour so Mary passed us on to Ray who drove our family around in a comfortable mini van. His knowledge of history and his anecdotes about people were wonderful. The day was filled with prehistoric tetrapods, medieval forts, learning about peat, castle ruins, and incredible Irish natural beauty. We were sad to leave Killarney but thanks to Ray, we look forward to returning to learn more.

We had a superb day touring the Ring of Kerry with Mary. She knows the area, its history and its special niches, and she adapted the stops to our interests. We explored historical ruins, an artist colony, and short trails to stunning vistas. We didn’t spend time shopping or eating, per our request. Whew.
Logistically: Mary picked us up and returned us to our hotel in Tralee in a comfortable Mercedes, and gave us a full nine hours of her time. Easy. She also provided tons of information to help us navigate the national park and the Dingle peninsula on our two remaining in the area.

Had a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry tailored to our family's interests. Mary understood the age of our child and took into account: a good time for breaks, snacks, lunch, and getting some energy out at the beach. Our child really warmed up to her kind personality.
This was the best value and way to see the Ring of Kerry. The pace was not rushed. We got to see roads/sites that were not seen by the buses. And, it was nice to relax and not worry about driving the roads (narrow spots, curves, horses, bicyclists, etc).
We would enthusiastically recommend Mary!

We had a marvelous time exploring Killarney with Ray. He picked us up at Shannon airport (with a sign) and we immediately felt comfortable and excited for our journey. We saw the Gap of Dunloe and Killarney national park, did a Ring of Kerry tour (including great spots off of the typical path), and went to Galway stopping at some great places along the way. Ray was incredibly accommodating and always willing to lend a helping hand. The van was large and comfortable. Ray knew so much information and shared a lot of it with us (he was able to answer every question no matter how obscure) and provided great recommendations. There is no better way to see this area than to do so with Ray and Mary!

My girlfriend and I booked a day trip around the Ring of Kerry/Skellig Michael with Mary. The day was most enjoyable for us. Mary is a fountain of knowledge so even as an Irish person I learnt so much about the interesting history and culture of county Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is an amazingly scenic drive and I would recommend it to anyone looking to experience Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

We took multiple excursions with Ray and Mary Walsh, and we can't say enough good things about them!! Both are charming, knowledgeable, and have a wonderful sense of humour!
Our three tours (the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, and Valentia Island tours) were carefully crafted to suit our interests, and highlight the incredible natural beauty of southwest Ireland. If you have ever done a big bus tour and resented the "you now have 15 minutes to see the attraction, take pictures, visit the gift shop, use the bathrooms, and get back on the bus" approach, you will find Walk With Me to be delightfully refreshing - relaxed and unhurried, we were able to take our time and appreciate the history and beauty of this incredible region. Ray and Mary were delightful hosts, and I would recommend them whole-heartedly!!
Ray and Mary - big hugs from Canada!! =)

Ray was absolutely incredible! He was so knowledgeable. We had such a great time talking with him along our tour of the Ring of Kerry one day and the Slea Head the next day. I wish I would have booked him for our entire trip! This is the BEST way to see Ireland, especially Ring of Kerry and Slea Head. We didn't have to worry about driving and Ray took care of everything (including where we should eat lunch)! He had great suggestions for the rest of our trip. I cannot recommend him enough!

My husband and I had the fortune of having a week long tour with Mary and Ray for our 10th Anniversary trip to Ireland; we had Mary the first 2 days and Ray for the remaining 5 days, and they both made sure we had the trip of a lifetime!
We spent two fantastic days with Mary--the 1st seeing the Dingle Peninsula and the 2nd exploring the Ring of Kerry. Mary was so friendly and a true wealth of information about Ireland, its people, its customs, etc. She took us multiple places that were 'off the beaten path,' and/or that we wouldn't have known to stop at if we were on our own--a little church ruin here, a little circle of standing stones there, a spot along the Ring of Kerry where you could hold a baby lamb, etc etc. She was great at pointing out and stopping at spots that were great photo opportunities, and always offered to take our picture for us. One moment that stuck out was that when we went to a sheep dog demonstration, she made sure to go a little ahead of us so she could save us a prime spot to watch everything; another was that when I managed to get some stains on my shirt, she had a spare sweater ready to go that she lent me for the day. She had great recommendations for restaurants, food, etc to stop at, and she did an excellent job of guiding us/providing us information when we needed it, while also giving us opportunities to explore and spend time on our own when needed. She also knew the ins and outs of driving on Ireland's twisty and narrow roads so that we didn't have to worry about it! Finally, Mary took a genuine interest in our lives, and told us a bit about hers, too, so we were never at a loss for interesting discussions; she was extremely easy to talk to, and probably one of the nicest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. I can’t say enough good things about her!
After our tour with Mary, Ray showed us 5 more amazing days in Ireland. He took us to see Cobh, the Jameson distillery in Middleton, and Kinsale; up to Cong (where we stayed at the amazing Ashford hotel for 2 nights), with a stop at Cliffs of Moher on the way; to see the Connemara region, including a stop at Kylemore Abbey; to Clonmacnoise en route to Dublin; and then gave us tours of Dublin as well as Glendalough and Avoca in Co Wicklow. For every city/stop/attraction we went to, he made sure to give us an overview/orientation to where we were, including what was required to enter, where to eat, what things to make sure we did while we were there, etc. He always made sure we knew exactly where he’d pick us up when we were done, and was always punctual, and did a great job keeping track of time/how long we could spend at each place. He’d even drop us off and pick us up at night from dinner and/or shows we saw that weren’t part of our tour with him. He knew so much about Ireland and the life there —- I don’t think there is a single question we had that he didn’t know the answer to!— and was fun to talk to about many other topics, too. He also played us several different kinds of Irish music as he drive us around the countryside, which really added to the experience, IMO. Ray was also good to point out some great photo ops to us, and made sure to take us to what was really worth seeing vs places that were just popular due to tourist hype. Finally, he was also a huge help when I was planning this trip a year ago — he gave me so much advice via email that helped me plan a great trip.
So if you want a private tour of Ireland customized to your preferences, with lots of interesting convos along the way, you can’t go wrong with Mary and Ray! (Especially if you don’t want to mess with driving on the opposite side of the winding and narrow roads!) They will definitely provide an experience that you will never forget!

I booked an all-day drive with Mary around the Ring of Kerry, with a morning stop for a boat ride to Skellig Michael (weather was too rough for landing, but we circled Little Skellig and Skellig Michael). Mary is a lovely, warm and knowledgeable person who took good care of me. We stopped at the old slate quarry, Muck Ross Mansion and Estates, the Lady's View, Torc Waterfall and other highlights. I would only have wished for another day to stop at even more places. It was a great way to partake of the Ring experience -- better than being on a big bus with lots of tourists, in that we were mobile and could zip around and avoid crowds, and I was not burdened with having to attend to driving (the roads are small and you have to watch for oncoming cars). If I ever go back to the area, I wouldn't hesitate to book with the Walshes again. Killarney is beautiful and well worth the effort of getting out that way.
As to the Skellig Michael boat ride, be advised it can be rough, and there is no knowing prior to arrival. On the day I went, the seas were 3-4 feet; any rougher and I imagine they would have canceled. I thoroughly enjoyed the rough ride, but some of my fellow passengers did not; if you're prone to seasickness, take your remedy in advance. The boats are small and open and there's no place to let fly except over the rail. It might be a good idea not to eat prior, or to avoid eating just before going out. If the seas are rough, you may get thoroughly drenched, so accept the boatman's offer of the fisherman's slicker. I was thrilled to see Little Skellig (I am an avid birdwatcher) and Skellig Michael, although bummed that we could not land that day. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful experience.
Hi Ellun,
Thank you for your great Review and I am glad you enjoyed your trip around The Skelligs, The Skellig Ring and The Ring of Kerry. Unfortunately the sea did not cooperate with the landing on the day to Skellig Michael as the swell was too high, however hopefully another day you will be more fortunate when you decide to come again and next time the Puffins will be there. I really enjoyed our day together and I am glad you could visit all the sights and attractions at your leisure. I wish you all the best for the future and hopefully one day you will return again.
Best Regards
Mary.

Hi Ray and Mary. We have 10 people in our group. Are you able to accommodate a party of this size? We would love to spend a day at the Ring of Kerry with you. We are visiting in mid April. Let us know!
