About the operator
- damianeickhoff00Amazing and interesting tourWent trough some unique streets and the story telling of Ronja was amazing! Would recommend to do this tour if you happen to be in London.
- 10blakej00A Great Night for Ghost Stories. The walk was a lot of fun, Francis made a helpful and friendly guide, and a natural and engaging storyteller. He gave the stories a very classic campfire feel, which my wife and I immensely appreciated.
- Paul M00AverageWill say we were really looking forward to this but was disappointed. The guide Francis knew his stuff and told great stories. We then got on the “Thames river cruise” and it was an Uber that we were on for 10 mins. By time we had queued up for a drink it was time to get off. Definitely not worth £50.
- 334viswanathanm00Brilliant tour! Phenomenal tour guide! The entire tour is phenomenal. A whole new experience and a brilliant lesson in history. Ivan is truly one of the best guides and his explanation was top class! Impressed and amazed
- alicewD7773ET00Walking tour amazingHannah was amazing my daughter loved it thank you for making the experiences fun my 9 year old loved it
- Venture6648207293300A tout that makes East London come aliveHannah was a fantastic tour guide, enthusiastic and knowledgeable with great gory details balanced with historical facts. I also noticed she was also very thoughtful and accommodating for one of the tour members who was in a wheelchair, so she moved a Limebike that was in the way and made sure to choose step-free routes.
- Camper36525200My Gryffindor !Simply amazing, full of magical stories , bits of peculiarities from each part of the city we went in relation to the movies !! Felt like walking down in that world :) He was also ver passionate , we took the tour in Spanish :) I would recount this to everyone !
- 740daphneh00Hanna was a great tour guide! It was very interesting. Hanna had an ipad with her what really brought you in the story, with all the detail in the pictures. She was enthusiastic about the story and the research she did! We had a great and a little creepy night, thanks!
- hannahfM5314XU00Brilliant tour5* tour from Jakob!! Would go again and reccomend to anyone! Really knowledgable and a great story teller
- christianneo31900Excellent route to walk throughI took the Spanish tour and it was amazing! I felt in many classical movies and the streets we went through really some were hidden secrets that is hard to find if you go in your own.
- Ed Z00Ghost tour London 2023Luke was a very good guide, directing our group of over 20 people throughout London and regaling the group of the various ghost stories and history of several London locales.
- munger1900Worth every penny and moreLuke did such a fantastic job! He was knowledgeable, fun, and engaging with our blabbering 8 year old daughter when she went on and on about Harry Potter
- delacem201300Fascinating and funWe had a wonderful time! Luke was a perfect guide and so patient with our over eager 8-year-old. Very interesting and the time flew by. Don't be intimidated by the length or time. It was an easy pace and a great way to end our trip. Thanks again, Luke!
- D1228MJevelync00Harry PotterLuke was fantastic 🙂 I definitely recommend the Harry Potter walking tour for any fans out there.
- JustCurle00Was a great tour!Very good and entertaining 2 hours. And our guide Francis was fantastic, very knowleable and a great host. Can highly recommend this. /Christina and Justin

The tour was entertaining but not what we expected. We didn't actually go into any cheese shops... Just stood in the street while the tour guide passed around tupperwares of cheese or went and got a plate of cheese from a shop.
Only one place actually provided wine and we were stood in an alley that smelled of urine to drink it. Not the best ambience! Also, the tour guide was reciting a script the whole time. She was fun but didn't actually know anything about cheese beyond what she had been told to say.
However, all the cheese we tried was great! Not sure it was worth £30 though...

Hi Olivia,
We are glad that you were able to enjoy various cheeses during our tour. We are sorry to hear that the smell of the location wasn't exactly pleasing and the tour itself didn't exceed your expectations.

I saw this experience and thought it would be a perfect way to mark my retirement with my cheese loving colleagues and friends- it should have been better than it was. Our guide, Billy was perfectly charming, and we enjoyed his company, but sampling small pieces of cheese from his selection of Tupperware, whilst standing out in the ( freezing) streets of city centre Manchester made it memorable for the wrong reasons. On reflection, I could have spent £150 on a cheese- loaded lunch in a warm restaurant! All round this event was disappointing and poor value for money. Sorry Billy - you were lovely!

Fantastic tour, my wife & I decided to do something a little different in our home town & happened upon this, glad we took a chance on it.
Mel was a really energetic tour guide who encouraged everyone to come out of their shell & was really knowledgeable about the cheeses she introduced to us.
Despite not knowing anyone else on the tour we really gelled & had fun.
Found a couple of new places to frequent as well.

An awesome afternoon of cheese and fun facts about cheese around the beautiful city of Manchester. Our guide Mel was charming and entertaining. She engaged the whole group and her quiz was fun and encouraged the group to get involved. It was a cold and wet day when we went so wrap up warm. Some of the cheese tasting is indoors and some outside. All the cheese was delicious and Mel recommended wine which was also yummy.

We arrived at the start not knowing exactly what to expect and found the whole Cheese Crawl to be thoroughly enjoyable, as well as informative and tasty.
To start off with we had to give ourselves team names. (Our team was The Head Quesos).
We participated in an informal quiz as we went around. Points were awarded for cheese-pun songs, etc.
Mel and Max, our hosts, were brilliant!
We walked across a sunny Manchester (the weather was glorious) stopping to sample different cheeses (even having a glass if Argentinian Malbec) and hearing snippets of information about the cheeses.
I highly recommend the Cheese Craw. It is a must for all Turophiles! 🧀🧀🧀

Absolutely dire and a total rip off, 7 tiny pieces of cheese, half an Eccles cake, half a glass of undrinkable wine. A 2 hour tour which consisted of a 30 min tour and 1.5 hours standing around in the street. All this for £25!

My friend and I really enjoyed this light-hearted 'cheese crawl', even in the rain. We tasted a range of cheeses, discovered the best places to buy cheese in the city centre, drank wine, enjoyed the cheesey humour, and made friends with the other cheese addicts who came along. Our host Mel was brie-lliant.

Jack was a fantastic host and we really enjoyed the range of cheeses, games and fun along the way! Such a fab and different way to spend an afternoon in Manchester. Cheese portions were generous and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend the Cheese Crawl as a gift or just a fun activity/ different way to see the city!

This is embarrassing, £30 to walk round Manchester for an hour, stopping outside a few places then given cheese out of a rucksack. Only the butchers brought out some cheese and a small glass of wine. No jokes, no quizzes. Ended up outside northern soul and given a cheese toasty to eat next to some bins. We wasnt even allowed to go inside the venue to eat them. So bad.

There’s cheese and wine, what’s not to like?
Mel (or BabyBelMel) is an informative guide escorting you around places in the city centre you may have previously missed. Providing information about cheese with plenty of opportunity to test different types over a relaxed and enjoyable couple of hours, at a pace set by the group.
Thoroughly recommended way to spend an afternoon with like minded people

Hi. It says not wheelchair accessible - why is this? is it up steps? My friend is not wheelchair bound but can't walk or stand for a long time.

There is a leisurely walk involved, probably 3/4 to a mile in total. One of the venues has steps and there are inclines on a number of occasions.
If I use the reserve now pay later function, as I'm waiting for friends to confirm they can come. If it turns out they cant come, am I able to reduce the booking size?

It says in the description that there will be wine.. is it possible to change that to any drink without any alcohol in (for Muslims)?

Wine is offered, but you can choose non-alcoholic beverages instead. On our tour there were some that didn’t want wine and they got juice or sodas.

Hi,
This looks amazing! I have a question - will the cheeses and biscuits be prepared/served separately to accommodate for gluten intolerant guests?
Thanks,
Tania

Hi - this was discussed actually on the tour I went on. You'd really have to make contact with the organiser if you have specific dietary requirements. The tour I was on had no gluten-intolerant guests, but Max did ask this before we commenced, just in case. So it's worth checking with the organiser before booking. Hope this helps :)
