Exceptional Travel Experience with Catherine in France Catherine is a true professional, making it an absolute pleasure to work and travel with her. Before our fabulous trip to France, I reached out to Catherine due to her numerous excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and she certainly lived up to the hype. Our experience was exceptional. Catherine organized our days in Paris, Champagne, and Bordeaux seamlessly. Every detail, from transfers and hotel reservations to restaurant recommendations and tour guides, was meticulously handled. Catherine herself guided us through Bordeaux, Médoc, and Saint-Émilion, sharing her extensive knowledge and warm personality, making us feel like we were spending time with family in France. She curated visits to both small and well-known châteaux, and the wines at each were exceptional. Lunchtimes were a delightful treat of French cuisine, all thanks to her expert guidance. In the evenings, her recommendations of Michelin-starred restaurants in Saint-Émilion were not to be missed. Catherine’s dedication and expertise made our trip unforgettable. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking to experience the best of France.

This was anticipated to be the highlight and even the main purpose of our visit to Bordeaux and Catherine our guide made it absolutely so. She picked us up at our hotel in her lovely Range Rover, stopped off for a special local treat from the bakery en route and gave us lots of information about the history of the area and the appellations as we went. We visited 3 wineries each quite different from the others but all very interesting and worthwhile. The first one was especially lovely with a tasting of 5 wines inside the chateau. At the second and third , we saw the harvest in full flow as well as tasting more delicious wine. Between the first and second we had a lovely lunch in a restaurant just outside St Emilion which was delightful. Just a brilliant day, superbly organised and executed by Catherine. We would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a private tour experience.

Catherine is an amazing tour guide through the Bordeaux wine region. The luxury car for the tour is very comfortable and Catherine had some local snacks and information about the wine and classification for us to consume on the way. After finding out how interested in viticulture we were Catherine organised for us to meet with the technical director at chateau Fonplegade and we were able to spend extra time in the vineyards. Each chateau we visited was unique with different wine styles but all exceptional quality. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant called 'The Garden' which was nestled in some beautiful french countryside and the service and food was excellent. On the way home we visited Saint Emilion and the town is amazingly beautiful. This was an absolute highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend anyone doing this tour.

Catherine was wonderful and accommodating! We enjoyed the tour she arranged for us very much! We got to try a few vineyards and experiences were all great! No complains and totally worth the price!

Hugo and Catherine are an amazing duo! The 6 of us were on a cruise so we had limited time in Bordeaux left bank region. They planned one winery in the late morning, lunch, and two wineries in the afternoon before taking us back to the ship. Their selections were fantastic! I highly recommend them if you want a private Bordeaux wine tasting experience, thank you!!!!

Catherine and Margaux were both extremely accommodating before and during the event. They made sure the itinerary aligned with our timelines and made plenty of suggestions to help make our experience great! Margaux really helped in explaining the area and making sure we had all our questions answered all in a very personable manner. It truly felt like we were just with a local friend and not a tour guide. It was a great time and we would highly recommend!

Our group of 13 (8 adults and 5 kids) took two tours during a weeklong visit to Bordeaux. One day to Saint Emilion and one to Medoc. Our guide, Margaux, was absolutely fantastic. Our group needed a lot of accommodations for the meals because our group included young kids and vegans. Margaux made sure everyone had delicious food to eat and the lunches on the tour days were some of the best meals we had in France. She also made sure that the kids had a place to hang out while the adults were learning about and tasting the wine. Margaux also accommodated our requests throughout both days including particular châteaux we wanted to see and adapting the tours so that we weren’t getting repeat information at each location. Margaux and our driver, Rashid, were patient with our large group and made both days a lot of fun. I would absolutely recommend tours with this company!

Very professional, informative tour with wine tasting and lunch at a wonderful restaurant surrounded by the vineyards. Clean new and well air conditioned van driver very professional and careful as a driver but also an amazing and enthusiastic guide!

If you're looking for a wine tour with a true wine expert and long-time part of the industry, look no further. The afternoon we spent with Benoit was incredible, and I learned more about French wine and St Emilion than I thought could be possible. He went out of his way to explain things, and made sure we weren't being overwhelmed or bothered by his passion for wine. Once he found out what we liked, he actually went out of his way to take us to one of his favorite Chateau's and had the owner (his friend) meet us for a private tasting. It was incredible and one of the highlights to my trip. That said, be advised that the itinerary listed is NOT what they set up for you. I would encourage the company to update that, as I signed up really wanting to go to Canon and Beauregard. Instead we went to Chateau Franc Mayne, Chateau La Dominique, and Chateau Ambe Tour Pourret. It was great to see the variety of these different chateaus, but they weren't what I had hoped to see while visiting Bordeaux. That said, being able to see St Emilion and have Benoit (who had made wine for 20+ years for one of the Chateaus) explain everything was definitely worth it. The last visit to Chateau le Chatelet was something I don't think we could have ever experienced otherwise either.

After contacting Aquitaine Limousine, I immediately had a response from Charlotte with a proposal for a private tour for our group. This was our first trip to the Bordeaux region, so having guidance took all of the stress out of planning. Our guide Benoit greeted us promptly at our designated time with a special surprise of “canelés”, a local treat. In addition to a really neat story of the history behind this delicious dessert. Not only did Benoit take us around safely for the day, he was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable, having been in the wine business himself for 25 years. He kindly assisted us to each tours and a lovely lunch that was also arranged for us by Charlotte. Benoit was a pleasure to talk with and we were happy to enlist in his helpful translation during lunch and along the way. He made sure to have the van waiting and cooled upon the ending of each tour and had cold waters waiting every single time. And we couldn't have been more grateful due to the weather reaching 104 degrees that day! The entire day was fantastic, it actually exceeded all of our expectations! I would highly recommend working with Aquitaine Limousine and we hope to return for another trip some day soon! A huge thanks to Charlotte for arranging three fantastic and very different tours and tastings, and to Benoit for taking such wonderful care of us! 10 out of 10!!!!!!!

On a recent trip to the Bordeaux region, I booked Aquitaine Limousine for 2 full-day trips and 1 half day trip, as well as train station transfers from Bordeaux to Martillac. We had an excellent experience with Catherine, who handled logistics, as well as with Hugo, our chauffeur and guide for our 3 days. Before our trip, Catherine was super responsive to all emails and not only gave us advise on our itineraries, but also advised us as to what activities we should book in advance which helped ensure that we did not miss out on anything. She also helped us with making restaurant reservations as many restaurants in Bordeaux only take bookings over the phone. We were very surprised that she came to greet us when we arrived at the train station as well as to see us off, and even brought us gifts from the region, including an incredible praline brioche from Bordeaux's oldest bakery. It was so thoughtful and unexpected and she really went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. Our chauffeur, Hugo, was also a great pleasure. With him we did a half day visit to Sauternes to visit Chateau d'Yquem, a full day visit to the Arcachon Basin, and another full day visit all the way to Sarlat and the Dordogne region. He was on time each morning and his car was immaculate and very comfortable, and equipped with phone chargers and water. He not only provided a smooth and relaxing ride, but guided us through each region with interesting information, history, etc. His English is perfect and he has a very welcoming and approachable presence. We can't say enough good things about Hugo. We had a great experience with Aquitaine Limousine and would definitely highly recommend them and book again. While hiring a private driver is not inexpensive, I did reach out to several companies and Aquitaine Limousine was competitive in terms of rates. Their service, however, was above and beyond, and I felt well worth the price. Thank you!

As a PA, I booked this service last minute for my client, the booking was smooth and simple, the guy that took the booking spoke fantastic English and then they called back to confirm further details and give me Hugo (the drivers) mobile number etc. My client said that it was an extremely smooth service from start to finish, pick up was on time and efficient and Hugo was more than pleasant. We would DEFINITELY use this service again . I was planning to use "get transfer" before finding this company but they have some awful reviews, I will only be using this service in future.
