The best teachers in a hidden Paradise beach Always happy, always smiling that guys love what they do. If you learn how to surf here you can surf everywhere. I’m here the second year and it's not the last one for sure.

We took two days of surf courses and we had a blast. The trainers really work hard to assist you and I’d be suprised if you didn’t manage to stand up at the end of the course. The beach where they are located is really nice and not as crowded as the ‘cote de basques’ nearby. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Axel is the best surf instructor and among the best persons i’ve ever met. He is so good and patient... and he is not just a standard instructor. He loves surf and he loves Biarritz and therefore if you surf with him, it is like surfing with a passionate old friend. He opens to you the doors of his Biarritz and his family. If you want to surf in Biarritz and Aquitaine, Axel is the right person!!! Thanks Axel for being so helpful and supportive and for your warmth, while I was alone struggling to become a decent surfer (at 40!).

It's the second year I go to Biarritz on holiday. Axel was the first one to put me on a surf board and get me to actually surf. This time was even better than the last one. Super good vibe, really good advices and always a lot of fun ! Suitable for all level and age !

Always nice surfing in Biarritz, Marbella beach is one of the best place there. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful nature. I did my first steps in surfing with Private Surf School few years ago and really happy to return to this place every year. Special thanks to Axel Lerga for this!

We got acquained with Axel Lerga in 2014. He seemed to have the best approach to individual lessons in surfing. He picked us up in the hotel and delivered to the best surf spots at the coast. Even in hot season he found almosg private waves for us. This year we spent lovely 10 days surfing with Axel. He is the best surf tutor we have ever seen. Professional, very attentive to details, with a sense of humor. We really see a progress in our level of surfing and plan to keep training with Axel next year.

I discovered what surfing was all about in Biarritz. I first took lessons with a classic surf school but all they did was to watch from the beach and give few advice. This really changed when I met with Axel from the Private Surf School. He really takes his lessons seriously, and comes with us in the water to help us out, guide us through reading the waves, knowing where to do your takeoff and all that. No doubt this is the best surf school in Biarritz.

Axel is a great teacher. Pro, easy going, generous with a positive spirit. Highly recommended for any level. The place is beautiful, the lessons are great and personalised, the vibe is good: so just go for it!
