Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a private walking tour of Biarritz with Paul, the guide. I got lucky as it’s low season and a group of 4 moved the tour to the afternoon. Paul is fantastic. Native of the area, he knows all the history of the place. He made the tour engaging and entertaining and he was willing to answer my 1000 questions. I now love the city of Biarritz even more. He also suggested a few restaurants. I ended up going twice to one of his recommendations (La Cabane à Huitres, simple, delicious and great value!). I highly recommend Paul as a tour guide! And his English is great!

This morning we had the pleasure of meeting our very knowledgeable tour guide Paul. We had a walking tour of the Old Port of Biarritz and surrounding areas. The history of Biarritz is very interesting. Paul has vast knowledge on the area, history and he delivers the tour in a very pleasant manner. We very much enjoyed our morning and would highly recommend.

Really great way to discover this beautiful port town with a local guide. Paul is the one guy you need! I did the Biarritz walking tour and the the full day excursion to visit the basque villages. I would recommend Paul to anyone!

Paul weaved his Basque heritage with a concise historical trip of Biarritz history...from a whaling village to a G-7 host city with interesting historical facts, family pride and enthusiasm. Don’t miss this. Eskerrik Asker Paul!
