Following early morning pickup from central Paris, board an air-conditioned coach and get comfortable for the ride to the Loire Valley. On the journey, get to know your guide and small group of 25 other passengers.
Stop first at Château de Chambord, built in 1519 and used as a hunting lodge by King Francis I. Take a tour of the castle at your own rhythm to see its ornate French Renaissance architecture and dramatic staircases. Keen an eye out for the wild boar and deer that call the verdant castle grounds home.
At Château de Nitray, sit down for a gourmet lunch at Nitray Vineyards. Enjoy a meal made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and enjoy unlimited wine with your meal. Listen as your guide talks you through the tasting notes for each wine, then end your visit with a post-prandial stroll through the vineyards.
Continue to Château de Chenonceau, for a brief guided tour. Pass original stone carvings dating from the castle's construction in the 16th century, luxe tapestries and pause in the cozy chapel. Then enjoy free time to walk through the immaculate gardens before boarding the coach for the return trip to Paris.
Your full-day Loire Valley adventure ends with drop-off back at your original departure point.

Bottles can be bought at both locations we went to drink later but otherwise we had enough wine from just the tastings that I was definitely feeling it myself! With lunch, you get the tasting plus a couple glasses of the wine they serve and a dessert wine. We also tried a few at the last location but it was the last thing we did for the day.
