      We learned a lot!
Our guide, Romain, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the paintings and the painting styles. He answered all of our questions, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour! We were so glad that we had the guide during our tour because otherwise we wouldn’t have learned and enjoyed the museum as much. There were only 6 of us on the tour, and Romain quickly learned our names! We would highly recommend this tour and guide!

      Musée d’Orsay with Hugo.
My guide was Hugo. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was authentically enthusiastic. What’s amazing is that he is parisien and speaks English as a second language perfectly and was able to not only explain the Gate of Hell by Rodin but also hold me captive and move me to tears. I highly recommend going to the musée d’Orsay with Hugo.

Great First Experience at Musee d'Orsay
Hugo made my first time at Musee d'Orsay an incredible experience! He is so passionate about what he does and his enthusiasm is certainly contagious. His wealth of knowledge about the art world helped me to see things in a new light. I would not have enjoyed Musee d'Orsay as much without our guide Hugo. Thank you very much Hugo!

      Best tour guide ever
Our tour guide, Miriam, was fantastic. She asked us what we would most like to see and tailored our tour to our desires. She had in depth knowledge of the art, the buildings and the history of the louvre. She suggested we see some interesting pieces and all of her suggestions were spot on. She knew all the tricks, such as hidden away bathrooms with no lines and which elevators and route to take. She was easy to understand and worked diligently the whole time

      Must-Do Tour
This tour was fantastic and truly 5-star. We have been on many guided museum tours and never have we experienced a tour guide as knowledgeable and engaging as Paloma. The in-depth knowledge she possesses about not only the artworks but the history of the times and cultures that created the works was impressive. We asked many questions (some seemingly random and off-the-wall) about the time periods or works, and she was able to provide immediate, comprehensive answers. We were really astonished by her depth of knowledge and ability to convey the interesting aspects on the story behind the artworks.

The BEST way to see the Louvre
The Louvre is amazing but massive. You will save so much time by having a guide navigate you to highlights of the Louvre. Our guide was Marc and he was fabulous -- knowledgeable, well spoken. We learned a lot. On our own, it took us forever to even find the exit. Go with a guide! Thank you Marc.

      Private tours are the best!
Our guide, Augustina, was so informative and accomodating. It starting raining and she took us to a little retailer where we got umbrellas and raincoats. Walking up the hill to the basilica, we would walk for a while and then stop and she would talk to us and give us a lot of history of the area. The whole tour was lovely!

Very helpful navigation of a crowded attraction
Our guide Dasha was really exuberant and knowledgeable. It was a great tour but very crowded within the museum itself. She did her best to navigate the crowds. I definitely wouldn't try to do it alone on the first visit.

This was a wonderful experience altogether. As someone who greatly enjoys visiting museums, specifically art museums, it was so wonderful to see the highlights of such a large collection with such interesting stories and historical knowledge from our guide, Roman. He was excellent. So entertaining and knowledgeable of all exhibits. Roman was always attentive if we had a question or wanted to focus on a specific historic period in the Louvre. Access-wise, the private security entrance was incredibly useful and helped us beat the large crowd forming early in the morning. All in all, I recommend this activity for its privacy and ease of access, exciting history from a local guide, and overall tailored experience.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Nancy. She was very well versed in both the style of art around us and the history of each piece. We definitely learned a lot with even some surprising revelations along the way. We would definitely recommend Babylon Tours and Nancy to anyone looking to learn more about the Louvre and everything inside it.

Our family of 6, including our 4 children ranging 11 - 20 years old, loved this tour. Our tour guide Florence shared the history of not only the art work we saw but also the history of the Louvre itself. The tour was the perfect length (about 2 1/2 hours). We were so grateful not to have tried to tackle this massive museum on our own.

We did our private tour with Ivana and could not have been happier with our experience. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, we would. She was so knowledgeable about the artwork we saw and the historical context surrounding each piece and the Louvre more generally. Having been in Paris for almost two weeks before this tour, we still learned new information and had new perspectives during our time at the museum. This tour is absolutely worth the price - you get an impeccable guide and get to hit all the “must see” works with extra free time at the end of your tour to explore on your own. We loved Ivana and so hope to have her on another tour in the future.

I just wanted to skip the line and get few interesting facts, what we got was so much more.
Our guide Duna, was amazing! Very knowledgeable. Her descriptions made pieces come to life.

We did see Mona Lisa, the line to it is pretty long but moved fast. Be prepared with your camera they only let you snap one photo and tell you to move on.

The museum is HUGE you have to be very selective about what to see. I would recommend going to Napoleon’s apartments. They were amazing.

Guide can give you a tickets once tour is over so you can roam on your own. You can connect to the Louvre WiFi it is free and research more about pieces that peak your interest.

From start to finish Babylon Tour was awesome. Our guide Alex met us on time and it was easy to find him at the meet up spot. Alex was a wealth of knowledge and provided an engaging overview of the Louvre and many of its’ great works. We have an 11 year old and 15 year old and Alex kept them involved and interested throughout the entire tour. Having a private tour took the experience of the Louvre to a whole new level and I don’t think we will see another museum with out a guide in the future.

Honestly, we were a bit skeptical at first not knowing what to expect. The Private Louvre tour is a bit pricey, and it's a foreign country so you don't know what you're in for at the time of booking. And honestly, you never know if these reviews are real are not... Nancy texted us about an hour before letting us know where she'll be. Literally, from the moment we met up with her all of our skepticism and fear went away. Her level of knowledge, enthusiasm, fun, vibrant personality made this tour worth every penny. I was able to ask for a bit of a diversion of the routine (as I have an interest with ancient Egypt) and Nancy was able to accommodate. The Louvre and its many pieces are incredibly overwhelming and she was able to level us and make sure the tour was guided and specific while being able to detour and go on the fly. When we come back to Paris next year (2024) - I hope it's ok we request you for another Louvre tour (so much more to see!!!) and other historic parts of Paris as well! I don't just recommend a Louvre tour.... my wife and I recommend Nancy to make the tour a success.

We had a great tour with Olesya. She met us promptly on time and got us through the line fairly quickly. Although we came on a rather rainy-day offseason, the skip the line was worth it as there still was a good long line to enter. Olesya, crafted the tour around our asks and was very attentive with all of our questions which i am sure could have drove her nuts at times as we were all very interested in art and the museum. She answered all our questions in stride. The tour is a lot of quick walking and recommend staying after tour to spend some time on your own as the Louvre is just too large to see it all in a few hours. Olesya had small transmitters with earpiece so we could hear her over the crowd which allowed each of us to stray a bit and still hear all the history from her as we moved through the galleries. All in all, an excellent tour and a great day with a great guide.

Our tour guide, Barbara, was spectacular. Erudite, personable, considerate and incredibly knowledgeable. There were 6 of us on the tour and she was able to tailor the tour to our interests at the drop of a dime. Two adults on the tour were very knowledgeable in their own right and the dialogue between them and Barbara elevated the tour without alienating the three younger teens on the tour. Seeing the Louvre on one’s own is often overwhelming and this museum is so immense that taking a tour is an excellent way to get the most bang for one’s buck. We would highly recommend this tour. Please recognize that the Louvre is VERY crowded and it is sometimes difficult to hear your tour guide over the noise of other people. That being said, if your are interested in items off the beaten path, you will find yourself in rooms with hardly any crowds.
