- Notthemo00Amazing tour with the most amazing guide. We had an amazing time touring the Normandy Beaches with the Calvados tasting. Our guide, Aaron was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites as well as many facets of other times and viewpoints throughout history. His passion for his work shines through his presentation. Aaron was also a very conscientious guide as I had family with me who did not move as fast as the others. He was patient and timed his presentations so everyone was able to learn and enjoy the discussions. His humor and style of presentation kept all of us engaged throughout the day. I would happily book another tour with Blue Fox Travels and look forward to additional adventures with them.
- Connector3172529775900Great timeNissa was fabulous! Very entertaining, plus knowledgeable. She answered all our questions with explicit answers and more. She was compassionate about the subject, the military men, plusliterally boys, and the with the people on the tour. Highly recommended.
- Dream23111500Superb tour - one of our highlights! This trip was incredible! Our guide was lovely and took our group of 4 on a cold and overcast day. (It was actually ideal as there were not as many other visitors.) The bike ride was easy going and definitely the best way to see the grounds. We loved the markets in Versailles and wished we could have bought more of the delicious fresh produce. One of our favourite experiences during our Paris stay - highly recommend!
- chrisbO8415DP00Exceptional history tourExceptional. It can be done from Paris in a day and it does not feel like such a long day because the van is very comfortable. The guide was excellent and I really enjoyed hearing some history and anecdotal stories that were new to me while being at the sites and imagining what those brave people went through on D Day.
- Meg R00Amazing!!!Thibault was FANTASTIC!!! the tour was long, but definitely worth it. We learned so much and it was a great way to experience the city. Probably the coolest thing we did in France!
- Becky R00Excellent your! Would do it again!Fantastic tour! Our tour guide was wonderful. She was friendly, talkative, knowledgeable and informative. She loves history and her enthusiasm was apparent. She gave us lots of info about the sites and their history along with other interesting tidbits about the general area. Would definitely recommend this tour for a Normandy experience.
- Connie A00HIGHLY RECOMMENDOur tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a ton about French history all well having a GREAT time! The tour guide was clear in his directions and kept us on time for all activities. 10/10 highly recommend the tour; the company and our guide
- skaschulte201800Highly RecommendedThis was a very good tour! The transportation was comfortable and clean. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very accomodating! I would highly recommend going to Mont Saint-Michel in November. We didn't have any crowds. It was a bit cold, but worth it to have the room to explore without many other people around.
- taniajcoward00What a great way to see Versailles - on bikes!!Our guide Cecilia was wonderful. We had a great day- enjoying the local markets in the morning then cycling around Versailles and stopping in to see Marie-Antoinette's and Louis' summer houses as well as 'The Palace' at the end of the day. We had a fabulous lunch with the group, enjoying the great food and everyone's company. So much so we've recommended this tour and Cecilia to some friends who will also be in Paris after a couple of weeks after our trip.
- karenrY3050PF00Wonderful tour! This was a really fun tour. Our guide, Thibault, was awesome - he’s very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He made the stories of the history of Versailles so interesting. We got to cover a lot of ground on the bikes. It was a cold day, but luckily no rain, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day in Versailles. Highly recommend this tour!
- Kenneth W00Nick was amazing as the guide and the tour was awesome ! Keeno says hello Nick!Nick was awesome as a tour guide ! He really knew his stuff ! We had plenty of time at the beach and at the bunkers . It was amazing to see the bomb craters and ship shell craters . The views were amazing . The whole experience makes you emotional from knowing how so many young men gave it all to save others . Nick took us to the museum and it was amazing . The cider tasting was amazing . Keeno says hello Nick ! He is still at it! (Inside joke ) We were there in June and I’ve been meaning to review this trip . We are from Memphis and we plan to go back and do this trip again . I hope we get Nick again . Ken and Leah Maybe we will bring Keeno Nick !!
- C4837CZcarriew00Met all expectationsWe had a great tour with Gus. He was informative and personable, but he also had a knack for when to give us time to explore on our own. It makes for a long day, but I can't recommend this enough.
- cindyhX4489EA00Normandy tourOlly was a great tour guide. We had a great tour and learned so much. The transportation, cider, and food were great. The cemetery was so humbling we were able to hear taps and see the flags being lowered. I would highly recommend this tour.
- catherynjcooper00D-Day Tour in 1 day - loved it!So much history in one day - we loved it! Our tour guide, Aaron, was a vet and history buff. He did an amazing job of explaining the history of the beaches and D-Day. We really enjoyed the small group setting and each of the designated stops. Highly recommend if you're trying to see the D-Day Beaches in a day!
- HoustonSV00Fun tour with a great guide! Our guide was wonderful! We enjoyed our bike tour despite the inclement weather. Would love to come back when the weather is nice!

This tour is honestly not worth the amount of money or time required. First we were dropped off in Reims with an hour and a half to see the church and get food, this was far too much time and could have been better spend skipping entirely to have breakfast in Paris before departing.
The best part of the tour by far was the one small family Champagne house we stopped by. The tour of the facility was charming and the tasting felt personal.
In Epernay, we we’re dropped off with a full three hours before our scheduled tour at Moët, this was far too much time as there is not much to do in Epernay after you grab lunch, so we ended up killing some time walking around and still sat outside Moët for about 45-60 minutes waiting.
Once in Moët we we’re put into a tour group of 30-40 people. I understand that this is a probably a Moët policy, but it totally negates the point of paying extra for a small group tour. The tour was impressive but you get the clear impression that you’re mostly paying for all the overhead there. The champagne at Moët wasn’t very interesting as all Moët by rule tastes the same. The day would have been much better served at 2-3 other small family houses instead.
Our group ended up all naturally getting back to the van about 30 minutes before our scheduled departure time because there was nothing else to do.
I would recommend saving your money and just take the train. Or spend the money on champagne at home and have your own tasting. Either would have been a better use of time any money.

Bonjour S4146WUmichaelw,
I am afraid that your memories of the tour are not accurate.
We do have trackers on our vans, let me go over the precise itinerary that you followed on that day.
You left at 7.30am from Paris, note that many people do not have breakfast that early and do need a break for a snack eventually.
You got to Reims at 8.51am. The guide spoke for 15 minutes and you then had 45 minutes of free time to explore the cathedral and grab a coffee and croissant if needed.
The van left Reims at 9.53am.
You arrived at Delenois Champagne at 10.07am and followed your tastings until 12.05pm
You then drove to Haut Villiers to see the tomb of Dom Perignon at 12.15pm and departed at 12.45pm.
You arrived in Epernay at 12.59pm.
You were given precisely 1h45 of free time to get lunch and visit the beautiful town of Epernay, known as the capital of Champagne and one of the most beautiful villages in France.
You got to Moet at 2.45pm for a tour at 3pm. We cannot change the tour time and Moet imposes its own timings. Since you chose a superior tour, you were given 2 extra glass tastings in Moet.
The groups in Moet are composed of 20 people (not 30). We do not control how many people Moet has in their groups.
Moet is a very well-known house and you booked this tour especially because we were going there. Whever you are impressed by their Champagne or not is not our doing, as you surely had tasted it before and had decided to join this specific tour yourself.
The tour was given precisely as advertized, I am surprised at your comment since you even decided to change your reservation from a tour to Normandy to a tour to Champagne, you should have known what to expect, and not blamed us of 'wasting your day!'
All my best

I wanted to break up our trip to Paris and experience more outside of the city - but not too far that travel took up a majority of the day. This was the PERFECT tour and hit all of our check marks for an out of city experience. Our tour guide, Adrienne, was nothing shy of phenomenal... his knowledge of French history was incredible and you could tell how passionate he was about his work. It was definitely a long day, so be prepared for that, but it was absolutely worth it. The cathedral, wineries, and overall experience was something I could not even have imagined being as beautiful and spectacular as they were. We enjoyed each portion of the tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience one of the most beautiful gems of France!

We LOVED our Champagne day trip and it exceeded our expectations. Brun, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing and made the entire trip so fun. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get out of the city for a day, learn about the history of champagne and to meet some new friends. Thank you — this truly was the highlight of our trip!

We were a family of three adult couples from Australia and did this tour on 26th December. We were joined by another couple from the US.
My husband and I had done a similar tour with a different company five years ago and were bitterly disappointed with that your. This was a refreshing change.
This tour delivered everything promised and more. We were a small tour group of eight (unlike our last tour where our van joined up with other vans at the various locations) and our guide provided terrific narration throughout the day (unlike our last tour where the driver/guide barely spoke to us).
Olivier was our driver/guide and he was brilliant - engaging, friendly and provided great historical and winemaking commentary.
We stopped at Nicolas Feuillatte and Moët and Chandon. The tour at Nicolas Feuillatte was excellent - very informative and a great to see a modern operation in contrast to the more traditional operation at Moët and Chandon.
The stops at the Dom Perignon burial site, the Notre Dame in Reims, a great restaurant for lunch and a couple of scenic view points were terrific too.

Can’t recommend this trip enough. Easily one of my favorite days on the vacation. This is awesome both as a Champagne lover and as someone who was bummed Notre Dame in Paris was closed for renovations. The Cathedral in Reims is part of the tour and it is actually more impressive than the one in Paris.
Out tour guide Anissa was absolutely amazing, you could tell she really cared about the tour and her knowledge was crazy. I highly recommend!!!

Our champagne tour was excellent. Our guide, Antoine, was exceedingly knowledgeable and friendly. The group itself felt like a great size, with 8 of us there in total. Both stops were very different experiences but equally enjoyable. As a tour like this is heavily dependent on the guide, I would like to give Antoine a huge thank you and highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in experiencing the Champagne region.

This was an excellent way to visit Reims & two family wineries specializing in Champagne. It starts early, (bring some water and a croissant or two). Our guide, Oliver who was so awesome, engaging and knowledgeable, picked us up in a brand new van. It just need a microphone system. On the way to Reims, we learned all about the area, champagne making, the wineries and of course the monks that started the whole craft of bubbles. Oliver was a wealth of information about the cathedral at Reims and then took us to a lovely family owned winery,Pierre Domani that makes 80K bottles of the delicious, high quality annually. The winery actually did pack our 2 purchased bottles for for us, in a box we stowed in our suitcase. Pierre Domani was a treat to visit. Then off to Epernay for lunch, my suggestion, pack your own picnic lunch and skip the lousy places to eat in Epernay. Then off to a very large winery Nicholas Feuillatte, which does import to the US. They made 20K bottle of champagne PER HOUR. The tour was interesting but noisy, and we all preferred the first stop. Then back to Paris, arriving about 6:30. Excellent tour, a chance to see the countryside and learn. Oliver was excellent.

Bonjour Janah381,
Thank you for taking the time to review our Champagne tour.
We thank you for saying such nice things about our tour and are pleased to hear that our guide, Olivier, did such a good job. Olivier is a very skilled guide who will often put his own spin on things.
The good thing about this tour in particular is that you get to see the difference in how production is made between the two champagne houses.
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your tour!
Thanks again for choosing us and take care till we see each other again.

5 out of 5. Very professional, entertaining, fun, personalized. The instructions on where to meet and the itinerary was precise. Our guide, H.P., was very friendly, fun, accommodating, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable; just the tour guide anyone would want and need. The Michel Fagot tour was just the ambience, delicacy, and scenery youre looking for. It was elegant, intimate, and dramatic as you would expect. Only recommendation is to bring your own cheese and bread to further enjoy your wine tasting. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Will was an amazing guide who is so knowledgeable and friendly, it made the tour so much more enjoyable. Right from the get-go when it was 7:30am and raining, he wasn't dampened by it but interacted with us in the van and made sure we had a stop on the highway to get our coffee. He also had a lot of interesting and funny stories to share so be sure to ask if you get on the tour with Will. Well, tasting wise, the champagne was amazing! We bought home 3 bottles in total to share with friends and family. Definitely recommended if you have morning to evening in Paris.

This tour was very disappointing. I was very interested in learning the different technique for producing champagne vs the red/white wine. The first place we stopped at was the better of the two since the owner/manager gave us his story…but it was in French and the tour guide had to try and translate as best he could. That was difficult to follow. The guide was soft spoken and his heavy accent was at time difficult to understand. The second tour at Nicolas Feuillatte could have been amazing but the lady giving the tour was very hard to understand and the back ground noise added to the problem. I understood less than 75% of what she said. This tour was definitely not worth the price paid. It could have been so much better if the people presenting and the tour guide were able to communicate more clearly. I would not recommend this for anyone.

The ticket states that proof of vaccination is required. 1) is this still valid? 2) Does vaccination require the participant to be valid with boosters? 3) Was anyone able to join the tour without being vaccinated (maybe proof of negative test)?

What time does the tour get back to Paris? Would we be able to go to an 8 pm dinner reservation near Champs-Elysee?
