A Perfect Experience Either With or Without Children
My husband, 10 year old granddaughter and I spent a week in Paris and this was one of our favorite activities. Our guide was Guillaume (Gigi - pronounced with hard "g's) and he was so charming and cute. My granddaughter may have had a crush on him - haha! We visited the Grand and Petit Trianons as well as the little farm. At the end of the bike tour, you can then enter Versaille and see as much or little of it as you want.

Highlight of our girls weekend in Paris
This was the highlight of our girls weekend in Paris! Cecilia is an AMAZING guide, she was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. The cycling part was easy, even though we hadn't ridden bikes since we were kids ;-) the boat trip is wonderful - you get to see all the main sites and you'll get great photos. Cecilia, thank you for your wonderful service and for making the tour such a fantastic experience for us all. We also appreciate all the photos you took of us!

      Fun Day in Versailles
It was a nice day in Versailles. We happened to be there the one day there was a fire in the roof of the Palace. So, things were delayed and getting in the Palace took forever and was very rushed. That was not the fault of the tour operator, it was just something that happened. Our guide was sweet and informative. We did the same tour with this company prior to COVID, and it was a little different. When we did the tour a few years ago, our guide went into each of the buildings with us and provided a guided tour. This time, that did not happen, and it would have been nice if it did.

      Great day. Excellent guide
A must see for any Canadian visiting Paris. I wouldn’t normally leave a review but Brun was fantastic. She had a great attitude and personality. Not only was she knowledgeable, she provided value well beyond what the tour cost. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your tour guide, then you have a lot to look forward to. If you don’t have her as your guide, then ask for her lol. Thx Brun Marshall

      Excellent excursion
Excellent tour!! Our tour guide "Brune" was fantastic and had a lot of great historical facts as well as fun facts to entertain us. She was professional, friendly and fun! The van was comfortable. Meeting spot was easy to find despite seemingly strange to meet on a street corner in front of a cafe. It works! Was able to grab a coffee for the road from the cafe! The Loire Valley was a highlight of our time in Paris. The chateaus were beautiful! Well worth the long day trip. I highly recommend this company and excursion.

      Great experience
This was an outstanding tour. Very well organized. The bikes were comfortable. We were taken to a charming market to purchase picnic style lunch items. The bikes had bags to carry items. We biked all over the Versailles property & stopped to visit key locations. It was gorgeous area to bike. We stopped for a picnic along the Grand Canal. We really enjoyed the scenery in the areas we biked. Our guide Teo was fantastic. He provided interesting information about the basic history & was helpful.

      Perfect way to tour Versaillies
Highly recommend this tour- Arnold was knowledgeable and friendly. We never felt rushed and he made sure we saw the critical sites. He even handled an unexpected flat tire with humor and efficiency! Can't imagine trying to see so much without having the bike.

      Very good experience
It was a fun day that started after we arrived at the Versailles market. The guide gave us lots of historical information. At the end of the day, the guide left us alone to navigate the VERY crowded rooms of the Palace of Versailles. By this time, we were very exhausted. We would have preferred to see the Palace earlier in the day. Overall, it was a positive experience.

If you only have one day to spare in Normandy than this tour is for you. It is a long day from Paris to Normandy but the tour guide and experience was well worth it. The tour is a highlight of what happened in Normandy during WWII. There just is not enough time to see the 5 beaches and all that Normandy has to offer, so that is why this tour was perfect (if you can stay in Normandy for 3-4 days than do things on your own or do other tours). Our tour guide Olivia was amazing and knowledgable of WWII history. We enjoyed the small group of 8 which made the experience more meaningful. We went in January and it was cold with no tourists which allowed for some amazing photos but the museum we were scheduled to see was closed as well as many of the restaurants. Best time to go is in April or after high season in the late fall.

Had a fabulous time on our tour and so glad we chose the option to take a car from Paris. Finding the location to meet was simple and there were other tours meeting at the same location. By taking a van from Paris to Normandy we had even more time with our tour guide and were able to get to know the other people in our group. Our guide was flexible to adjust the days events as the forecast was projecting rain (which didn't come until we were heading back to Paris following the cider tasting) The timing of our visit was also great because we were so close to the anniversary celebration so there were flyovers and people in WWII military costumes. It enhanced the experience without dealing with throngs of tourist. The Overlord Museum was not overly crowded so you could go at your own pace. The cider tasting was a nice stop. We got to enjoy the tasting and see a beautiful home that was 400+ years old in the French countryside. I would definitely suggest bring a sweatshirt or sweater. You can always leave it in the van at each stop but you would have it should you need it. They also had large golf umbrellas in case of rain. I had brought stuff not realizing how prepared the tour operators were.

    I highly suggest this tour!

We are so glad we decided to go with this tour of Normandy Beaches! Our guide Nisa was fabulous, and her knowledge of WWII history and passion for sharing the stories brought this entire day to another level. We also appreciated having a smaller number of people on our tour because it was quicker to move between locations and were able to explore more areas and small coastal villages.
Visiting the beaches of Normandy is once in a lifetime experience and it was so worth the cost and the time. Definitely do it!

It was a lifetime experience to visit Normandy. The trip starts early at 7, Pick up spot is conveniently located few yards from the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile train station next to Arc de Triomphe. Our guide Olivia was an expert driver too. She is very efficient in communication and highly knowledgeable in history. The trip takes us back to the second world war and every bit of it is enjoyable. Worth the money spent. The rental car option may not be very conducive for non-EU as the navigation is not so easy

What a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Before I arrived in France, did some homework by reading "The Longest Day." Highly recommend that to others who want an added dimension of insight into the event of that day.
Our tour guide Matt was simply phenomenal. On our ride out and back he took the time to get to know us, shared his knowledge of the areas we were passing through, and gave us some Normandy background. He encouraged our questions and was so kind.
Once there, his understanding certainly added something special to our visit to Omaha Beach.
In totally we spent a ton of time visiting appreciating, and commemorating this hallowed ground the beaches, the cemetery, the museum, where so much blood was shed in the name of freedom.
We arrived back in Paris quite late, around 9 pm or so. Every second of this trip was worth it and Matt was simply phenomenal. Book this trip now.

This tour and especially our guide, Guillaume, was the best tour experience I have ever had. Even though it was a 2 hour drive to and from Normandy, not a second was wasted. Guillaume fill the time with his vast knowledge of the area, the people, the war experiences and the culture. He was glad to answer all of our questions. He walked us through the historical sites generally interested in giving us a history that we could never forget. We are two seniors who benefitted from his kindness and care while we enjoyed our conversations. He went out of his way to help us with rest stops, drop off stops and personal needs. I can’t thank him enough for all that he did so that our tour was the greatest. I would recommend this or any of the tours that Blue Fox Travel & Bike Tours has to offer. Congratulations on an exceptional business model.

Blue fox provided a smooth experience from online booking to day-of-trip check in to returning to the meeting spot. I booked the trip for our young history guru. Our tour guide was patient and pleasant and tried to provide as much information as possible. He was also very thoughtful in caring for the elderly members in the other party who could not climb rough surfaces. I think a small group tour totally worth the extra money we paid for, as boarding and gathering took a blink, and I believe we spent less time on the ride and waiting for people at rest stops and lunch. A small van also allowed our guide to drive closer to us after each stop instead of having us walking all the way back to parking.

We visited Gold and Omaha beach and spent sufficient time at each stop exploring. The museum was great with unique life-like displays that resembled the history. The memorial and cemetery were beautiful and powerful. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch seems to be a popular spot for French people also, and the menu had a good selection at very reasonable prices (definitely cheaper than in Paris). The rest stops in the morning and on the way back were perfectly clean and nice.

I highly recommend booking through Blue Fox.

Solid trip for folks staying in Paris with just a day to spare for Normandy. I wanted to do more, but there just isn’t the time. We hit all the spots but had to be efficient because you can lose the day. This trip will assure that I return for a couple days.

The guide, Brune, was great. She drove the 9 person van (we only had a group of 5 enhancing our space) safely and with no issues. Vehicle was clean and large. She had French ab ent but very easy to understand. Enjoyed several hours of conversation on the round trip.

I would recommend in the future skipping the cider tasting and spending more time at the American Cemetary and/or overlord museum. Also would prefer to do bag lunch and more time at sites as well. Regardless, and excellent tour.

The entire day was wonderful. Our group of eight set out with Gabriel who clearly loves history and enjoys imparting this enthusiasm to others. We were immersed in the details of June 6, 1944, and had a comprehensive visit of Omaha Beach, Ponte du Hoc, the Overlord Museum and the American Cemetery. All in our group had a family member who served in WWII so this was extremely meaningful. Gabriel arranged a table at a great local restaurant and we finished the tour with a cider tasting. Best day of our 8 day visit to Paris! Would highly recommend.

The tour was exactly as advertised, which is rare in my experience for this type of activity. Our guide, Maxim, was enthusiastic, friendly, and really knowledgeable about D-Day and the various sites we visited. He timed/planned our stops to perfection and we ate lunch at a wonderful little farmhouse restaurant with amazing food and lovely proprietors. During lunch, we were able to talk to Maxim about all kinds of things, which was great because we got a sense of what life is like in Paris.

The D-Day sites themselves are incredible. I’ve wanted to visit Normandy my whole life and it didn’t disappoint. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this tour for someone who wants to get into the weeds of the military tactics and history of D-Day—there really isn’t time for that—but the guides will certainly give you a good overview of what happened and should be able to answer most questions about the operation.
