Trip to Normandy a Highlight of a week in Paris
My day trip to Normandy was a highlight of my week in Paris. This was my 5th time to Paris, and was looking to experience a day outside the city. Was on the fence whether to take the small group or larger bus tour, but was very happy with my decision to hire the small group. Ended up making friends with the other travelers and our awesome guide, Will. Will educated us with insightful history and information prior to making a stop. The trip does not include guided tours within each stop, which I may have enjoyed too, but overall a great friendly experience!

      Don’t miss Normandy!
The sites and experiences were unmatched. As Americans, this was a personal journey for us to pay respects to our fallen heros of yesteryear. Our guide, Nisa, was fabulous. She was so welcoming and treated us like friends from the beginning. Her English is great and she gave us so many little details that enriched the experience. We highly recommend this tour. Ask to be in Nisa’s group!

Amazing Experience with an amazing guide and great company.
Our tour guide, Brunie was absolutely amazing. She is an expert in her field, kind, funny, patient, and made sure my spouse and I were treated like VIP’s. I cannot say enough about her not only as a tour guide, but as a person. Blue Fox is fortunate to have her on their team. The tour from beginning to end was top notch. After having a different company cancel this same tour on us last year, we were pleasantly surprised at how incredible this experience was. Recommend 10/10.

      Enjoyable trip - never regret
Our guide Andrew was amaing, very knowledge and pleasant. Went out of his way to ensure everyone was aware of all aspects of the Juno history plus more. He Even enjoyed all the non-Juno questions/trivia questions by one of our group members - tOn the return trip, as it was getting late, and being a group of all ladies, he didn't feel comfortable bringing us back to the pick up point, so he brought us to a much safer location and closer to our hotels - that was very appreciated by all - as most host wouldn't - highly recommend this event. Our only wish we had more time to explore all that was in the area - but that will be for another time. Good job Blue Fox.

      Chablis and Irancy
The first tasting was at Jean-Marc Brocard, and the winery was cute, and the staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. We had the opportunity to sample a great selection of whites. However, visiting in the winter felt a bit underwhelming. The vineyards were bare, and there was hardly anyone around, which made the atmosphere feel a little lifeless. The highlight of the tour was definitely the second tasting room, which was set inside a cave dating back to the 12th century. It was an incredible experience to sip wine in such a historic and atmospheric setting. The dim lighting, cool stone walls, and rich history made it feel like we had stepped back in time. It was truly a unique and memorable part of the tour. Our tour guide, Olivier, was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the wines and the region. He shared fascinating insights about the winemaking process and the history of the estate. Later in the tour, he even recommended a fantastic restaurant Le Soufflot in the village of Irancy, which was a great way to continue our experience with local food and wine. If you’re looking for a lively and immersive experience, I’d suggest planning your visit for a time when the vineyards are in full bloom and there’s more activity.

      Time well spent.
The visit to Normandy and the D-Day invasion sites was sobering and inspirational. Even extreme wind, rain, and cold temperatures could not dull the emotional impact of the geography and of what happened there so many decades ago. Our ride was comfortable. Our guide was knowledgable and gregarious. We felt that our needs, both practical and those reflected in our desire to learn, were met. We would recommend this experience, and this company, without reservation.

      Normandy trip so worthwhile!
What a great excursion! Revisiting the beaches of d day, museum and cemetery and seeing the towns of Normandy were wonderful. Our guide, Philip, was of good cheer and a great combo of guide and offering time alone to take in the gravity of the sites. Cider tasting was a fun addition to the day. Highly recommend.

      Take this day trip immediately!
This tour was by far the highlight of my trip to Paris! A beautiful day visiting enchanting castles, learning about history, and tasting wines from the region - with the best guide imaginable. Sara was absolute perfection as our guide: her brilliance about the history of the region, each castle, and France in general shone brightly the entire day. I also made a new good friend in another group member. I could not be more emphatic in recommending this day trip. Please select this particular tour as opposed to one of the larger group trips from other companies, which visit fewer castles. The personalized attention and small group experience of this particular tour made it even more special.

      Informative and Memorable
Our day trip to the Somme Battlefields was informative and memorable. Our guide was extremely friendly and made the tour experiance very pleasant. Lots of interesting sights and historical places visited during the visit and our guide was able to provide context and details at each of the sites visited. Highlight of our visit to France.

This tour led by Joris was the highlight of my first trip to Paris. the history, trivia, and the laughter of our tour was just perfect. Paris is such a bike friendly city, I always felt safe and Joris was always directing our group of 8 clearly on rules and directions. We went on 3 rd day of our trip which was perfect because we already went to see the highlights so we had a reference so I could really understand his explantations of the sites we were brought on. If I knew how wonderful this bike tour would be I would have booked another.

Bike tour was great! It was a perfect way to for us to see an overview of Paris the first day we arrived. Our group was larger than normal as only one guide ended up being available that day, but the guide that was there handled the larger group well even managing to get us around as many streets were closed because of Olympic prep. Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience to cycle along the streets of Paris immersed in the unique and diverse culture of the city. Lucien, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and charismatic - every question and request was met! We were gently whisked through main sites of Paris with ample time to ask questions and be provided with rich explanations on Paris’s history. Due to the works taking place in preparation for the Olympics, some cycle paths were shut but Lucien was calm and collected ensuring the quality of the tour was just as good if not even better!! This did mean we were cycling amongst traffic but it was an interesting opportunity to experience the French way of driving. Lucien guided us safely through this and we arrived unharmed at the other end, with plenty stamina to spare as the tour was very easy going.

I would not recommend this tour to someone else!
Is should be 4:30h but was only 3h. In this 3 hours we organized the bikes with around 20-30 min plus had a coffee break in an not so special environment in the middle of 30 min. So in total 40€ for a poor 2 hours Tour.

On the way we were in a rush, I really only saw the buildings and details from far away plus the showing pictures were only presented for max 2-3 sec per person with a small group of 9. In this group were 5 Americans who don't really know the names and principles of monarchy which were only presented with pressured big jokes and really less information about them else. Even the French revolution, the special Hausmann buildings, the structure of Paris and so on were really slightly presented in one sentence and not explained in examples. For me who knew about it and the special history around Paris was absolutly disappointed!!

In the tour our guide Santiago (from Colombia) gaves us many wrong informations, as Mona Lisa is from Monet (Da Vinci!!) or the Musée d'Orsay fast changed from train station to a museum after the exhibition 1889 (I was there, it stayed for around 100 years and was two times restructured) and not because of the richer citizen living nearby there wanting a museum. Just two examples of plenty little mistakes I recognized. Do I have to check all infos now to be sure if I say something to someone is correct??

And so one, even after every small presentation a fast "do you want Fotos from me taken for you? No? Ok, let's go to the other place" without even giving the time to really seeing the details.

All in one a waste of time, I liked it travelling with the comfy bike through Paris but renting a bike for 3 hours is definetly less expensive then 40€

Great way to see the highlights of Paris! Our guide Joris (Joe) was outstanding! He was engaging, fun, knowledgeable and resourceful - with the Olympics preparations, roads were being closed and traffic diverted with no notice. Joe was always able to find an alternate way that was interesting and safe. We toured with our two teens and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! We ran into our tour guide again the next day at Versailles and had really wished we had signed up for his tour out there!

Would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Paris for the first time or want a refresher of the sights. The bikes were easy to use and you got a helmet and rain jacket. It gave an opportunity to see the main sights and learn some history too. Arturo our guide was great, and despite the busy roads I felt totally at ease and he was constantly looking out for us! There were only 8 of us on the tour which was a good number.

Just a few tweaks would make it 5 out of 5:
    1) We were told to arrive 15 minutes early and that our guide would be waiting for us with a blue bike, but no one was there for quite a while and we had to call the office to confirm (they didn’t answer though).
    2) There wasn’t a huge amount of time to take photos; at the Louvre especially it would have been nice to stop in the square right outside the glass pyramid.
    3) We have maybe been a little spoilt in other cities as have had tours where the guides have had microphones, sometimes linked into your bike helmets. Some of the locations we stopped at were quite noisy due to traffic or other tours, so it was sometimes hard to hear.

It felt rushed and frenetic. Tour guide was late as was another guest so then rushed. Group was too large for the business of the city and felt unsafe and the group spread way out, managing lights and traffic. The excitement of the tour was not knowing if we would keep the person ahead in sight and so may get lost and have to figure our way back through traffic. Guide was preoccupied and minimal stories which is what you take a tour for.

Hello A7344AJlisam, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with our tour. Please remember, that traffic around Paris is currently very intense, due to roadblocks associated with the Olympic Games. We don't doubt that the streets of Paris are more crowded than in the off-season. We guarantee, that our guides do their best to provide our clients with the most pleasant experience during their stay in Paris. Kind regards, - Alice

Great tour, it was fun and it helped us to get our bearings in the city. The guide gave great explanation of all the places we went to and made sure the kids were engaged. We normally do a hop on hop off bus when we arrive in a new city but this tour was a far better option as it was faster and more dynamic. Highly recommended!!

This bike tour around the main Paris highlights with our guide Arnaud was a joy - and one of our favourite experiences in our trip to Paris. "Arnie" was highly personable and self-deprecating throughout with a great sense of humour. As a Parisian he was highly knowledgeable about the city and local culture and our whole family had a fabulous time.
