Overview
Explore the interior of Basilica du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre with a private guide on this 1.5-hour tour. You'll learn about the history of this Parisian landmark and climb up to the dome for a panoramic view of the city.
What to Expect
Your tour starts by meeting your private guide at the Basilica du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, where you'll climb up the 300 steps to the dome for a view of Paris that includes the Eiffel Tower and La Défense, the financial district.

Learn about the history of the basilica, which was built between 1874 and 1914 on Paris' highest natural location—the top of Montmartre hill. See the Christ in Majesty mosaic, one of the largest in the world, and admire the Roman Byzantine–style architecture. When you leave with your guide, you'll visit Place du Tertre, a popular Montmartre square, from where you can stroll around on your own and continue your exploration of Paris.
