We decided to use a tour bus service rather than the metro to get around Paris for the day so that we could see the sites and ease of use. We found the drivers to be friendly and happy to help, and we never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a bus to arrive. The route took us to all the tourist sites we wanted to see and was handy as it stopped close to the Champs-Élysées metro station which is where we traveled in/out of Paris. Bus stops are clearly marked and manned, the app is also really useful for getting you to the right area. Kids loved the audio commentary. Would certainly recommend Tootbus and would use them again.

We stayed in Paris only 1 night on a layover from Ireland. Our concierge at our hotel understood that we had less than 24 hours to enjoy the sights, we had to fly out the next morning at 11am. He offered to help us book a Toot tour bus at 3;30pm that aftertnoon, which turned into a nightmare. The Toot tour bus he booked us with was not in the location that was printed on our ticket from the website. We ran around for an hour trying to find the bus. When we finally found it at 4:45pm the tour ended at 5pm. (We had not been told this or we never would have booked a ticket!!) We did not even get to go on the bus. We paid $135 for nothing.

If you want to get some information about Paris definitely don't take this bus. The excursion is really poor. They try to tell silly not funny jokes, but telling nothing about the history, architecture, famous people. I have switched between 3 languages, and in all it's AI speaking with wrong pronunciation, especially the names. Poor. The boat trip. We couldn't come on board with the QR code, which was OK for the bus, though bought and payed together. We had to find a representative of the tootbus and he has managed to send us per Email 4 QR codes for the boat separately. On the boat the microphone of the lady didn't really work. Not to recommend. Sorry.

Very efficient, easy to book, regular service, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, recommended of you have young children and only a short period of time

I came to the city of love and I fell in love with the bus driver Yves. Hés really cute and smile all the time even when we was annoying with our questions. He’s really welcoming and friendly with his « French accent «  thanks for the best tour ever that we can imagine, can’t wait in summer time for another tour with you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Joined the tour outside the Louvre, was charged €134 for 2 adults and 2 teens, we joined about 11.30am, the guide told us the bus would run until 7pm, so we thought we’d have lots of time. There are 10 stops on the tour. The commentary wasn’t great; it could’ve been really informative but it’s styled in a jokey way, with the narrator trying to crack lame jokes and banter that falls really flat, when they could instead be telling you more about the sites (which is what you pay all the money for!) We were pretty lucky in that on the 2 occasions we went to catch the bus, one turned up pretty quickly, the bus itself was clean and fairly modern, so no problems there. We caught the last bus from the Eiffel Tower around 5pm, we were told by the driver that the last stop was galleries Lafayette, at which point we’d need to get off, I think that as 5.20 ish (at the latest) so not 7pm like the ticket seller told us. Unfortunately, we were flying the next day so couldn’t make use of the 24 hour pass the ticket gives you. So all in all, it was ok, and got us round most of the sites, think we only missed 2. I just feel like about €100 ish would’ve been a fairer price.

Driver listening to a football match broadcast, no windows on the upper floor, although there were mounts, lower floor without heating. The weather was very cool. Overall impression - gold, dirty and I heard the football broadcast on the upper floor. Too expensive for such a service

This cost us £74 for 2 seniors. The commentary was so un informative. Never once said “the building on Your left / right… “ just said this building….” Never said this is stop 1, 2 etc. commentary spoke more about their personal lives than any history etc. we’ve done many of these type of tours across the world … but thankfully never with this company. Got to be the worse ever. A very expensive lesson learned!

Absolutely awful we were told hop 9n abd off at any stop on the route charged alot of money charged us family plus an adult we didn't get to stop at stops they told us we coukd hop off so ended up at notre dam from eiffel tower bus stopped 15 minutes for a driver changeover no where near a sightseeing spot tgen to come back to eiffel tower waited 2 hrs not 1 toot bus came the que kept building everyone complaining tried to call your number but kept saying not available I messaged you on the website to ask when are the buses comming 2 small children waiting in the cold who are now sick we ended getting a taxi back and no one at your eiffel tower stop where I bought the tickets and buses every 10 minutes what a lie 2 hrs and still no bus

I've been to Paris many times but took the kids first time so booked the tour. It's well worth it and they give you relevant information on the audio guides. It's not a history lesson it's a tour bus. I've no idea why people are complaining about it. It was enough to keep the kids interested without overwhelming them. They're usually rolling their eyes at me when I "lecture" them on too much history lol The audio guide also includes multiple walking tours which I thought was fantastic. Also for people complaining about the audio jot working it clearly says to report it using the qr code and you can just download their app and use your own headphones so it shouldn't be such an issue. They tell you to get out your cameras when you get near a photo worthy spot and the driver made sure he turned the bus round multiple times so there was plenty opportunity to make videos and take pics of each special site. It also wasn't as repetitive as previous tours I've taken, we only went round Place de la Concorde twice and they had different info to keep you entertained each time. It was really busy we went over the Xmas hols but there were frequent buses and we easily found space on the top deck each time although I was grateful for the ones that were covered on top because it was absolutely freezing! It's a fantastic way to get around Paris which is a big city and they covered all the museums and main sites. Stops were at very convenient places except for the notre dame one. We didn't get off there though. I will def buy from them again when needed.

It was a beautiful start to Christmas Eve. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world at Christmas and this is a great way to take in all of the annual illuminations. It’s really the only way.

I paid 35 Euros for 2 hours drive on the half open bus around Paris. I had wonderful time. You also get earphones playing nice Christmas music. It was brilliant from start to end. After you get free Coffee and cake voucher to used any time at a high street store. Thank you to all the staff.

This trip was terrible because we booked a bus with no roof and ended up with one with a roof so we could hardly see anything. We were prepared for rain in foul weather gear but it had stopped. The only photos I was able to get were by hanging out the bus window! The staff were non existent and only around to hand out coupons for Printemps while having the nerve to tell us to rate them 5 stars!

From joining the queue to taking our seats on the bus, it was total anarchy, the staff just didn’t know which role they had, some scanning tickets then passing it on and giving out leaflets, then earphones then missing people out and demanding they go to the back of the queue. Total shambles to say the least. Having said that, once sat in our seats, our family group throughly enjoyed the tour, the lights, sounds of the Christmas evening really shone through and turned a difficult start, into a magical experience that I’m sure will last in our memories for a long time, the Paris attractions at Christmas time are beautiful, and there is no better way of experiencing this than on a very cold yet wonderful open top double decker bus, but be mindful to wrap up in your warmest clothes as it’s very very cold on the evening tour.
