Bypass the often long entry lines and gaze at iconic paintings such as Monet’s Water Lilies or Toulouse Lautrec’s Starry Night over the Rhone. See masterpieces by Manet, Renoir, Cézanne and Rodin, learn about the painters’ colorful lives, and how the works you are looking at today radically transformed the course of Art.  As their world changed around them, these artists’ progressive approach to life and art, their new techniques, expressive brushstrokes and vivid colors caused a scandal. Recognized around the world today, these dazzling works of art are not to be missed. This small group tour allows for an intimate and relaxed visit, and your guide will bring to life not only the artworks, but the fascinating lives of the artists, many of whom lived and worked in Paris. After the tour, you are free to remain in the museum at your leisure, to continue exploring for as long as you wish.

      good tour
A must see. Worth every penny to book a tour. Even in October the grounds were beautiful. The palace is gorgeous. Enjoyed the tour because it provided such history and insight.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful . I definitely recommend this tour to speed through the long lines to enter the museum. Well worth the cost!

      Excellent tour
Sylvanye was wonderful and had a lot of funny stories about the royal family. If you have chance, take the tour and you’d be glad you did.

A ruined day on our dream trip to Paris
The worst experience we have ever had. The weather was in the low 30's and we were stuck outside for over an hour past the start time waiting for the groups to be let in. The tour guide continually said just a couple more groups ahead of us and they just came piling past us. We were freezing to a point we couldn't feel our feet or hands and finally told the guide we were going to have to cancel and go back to Paris after spending over a $100 for roundtrip transportation. The guide said there wouldn't be a problem cancelling but were then denied any refund. We had so looked forward to the tour but the service was not provided as promised and it was a miserable day. DO NOT BOOK with this company.

Too busy, but a lovely guide.
We went on a crazy busy day (Christmas holidays). Not the most relaxed way to view art works, but credit to our guide Stephanie. She navigated the vast crowds and kept us informed and entertained. Had we attempted to view the museum without Stephanie, we would most definitely have wandered around completely lost. Thank you.

      Very good tour guide
Karen, the tour guide, was very good before and during the visit. Just a shame we took the tour when Le Louvre was extremely busy on 28/12 PM.

      Great tour and guide
Johnny is a great guide. There is so much information and he explains it well. It was like being in a history/art history course. I’m very glad we were able to have him as our guide. The meet up location and guide who met us for the train ride to. Versailles was excellent. He was very accommodating and friendly; always smiling and friendly. It was a great start to a really good day!

Incredible tour with the best guide!
What an incredible experience. A very big thank you to Mika who was a great guide. She spoke amazing English and had so much knowledge. The tour was perfect for both adults and children from 10 years old with lots of interesting information and interaction. I highly recommend and will for sure contact Mika for another tour in the future!

      A stressful day
I really wanted to love this tour. Mainly because I loved Versailles. Visiting there, I absolutely recommend. Unfortunately, the tour with Memories France was not what I hoped it would be. Admittedly, I will say that some of the issues my husband and I had with the tour were not things that the tour company could control, but when taken into full consideration with the entire day, it just really made for a really stressful experience. It didn't help that there were issues with transportation at the start of the day. Something happened with the original train we were supposed to take and the second one our guide chose ended up being delayed, causing us to get to Versailles an hour or so later than we were supposed to, which led to us having to wait even longer to get in because we'd missed our entry time slot and had to wait for them to fit us in at another time. I will say, the tour company offered us a discount if we booked another tour to make up for the inconvenience, but at that point our entire trip was already planned out and there was no opportunity to fit in another tour to take advantage of the discount being offered. The guide was okay, but struggled with English more than I expected on a tour that was advertised as being in English, so it was difficult to understand what she was saying somethings. I'll give her credit, though, because she did have a lot of knowledge about Versailles and would have likely been an excellent guide if she'd been a little easier to understand. Additionally, being late caused us to be rushed through the tour inside the palace and a little rushed through the gardens. By the time we were able to stop for lunch, it was so late in the day without having anything to eat or drink, I was starting to get sick but at the time we paused, all the available restaurants were either filled to max and not letting people in or they were closed. Our only option was to get a few snacks at one of the vendor trucks which really wasn't much of a meal. At that point, I was so exhausted and so frustrated and so stressed by how crazy the day had been, I just kind of found a place to sit and cry for a bit until it was time to meet back up with the group to continue the tour. I can honestly say, that's the first time I've ever been on a tour while on vacation that had me literally stressed to tears. So while I can say the Palace of Versailles is definitely worth a visit and I'm glad I went - I can't say I'm glad that I booked this tour.

A must see tour with lots of amazing art works!
This tour is a MUST! Such a great way to see Paris! We covered so many artists over a large area and I learned so much about the works of art as well as the artists. Don’t worry about the walk…it’s mostly flat and moves at a leisurely pace. Plenty of good photo ops and I can’t stress how much great knowledge was shared about the artists and techniques!! I was lucky enough to have a one on one tour and enjoyed every minute of it! I would definitely recommend this tour and I’d go again!

Traveling solo I got lost and the manager called me and located me so I was very happy and rejoined the tour group.

Fine tour, and great to skip the line at Sainte-Chapelle!
We liked how the tour combined three beautiful places that were close to each other. Our tour guide was very friendly and nice. But he did not have much information beyond what we could read about on our own. However — Skipping the line to Sainte-Chapelle was fantastic, because the line was over an hour long. And the stained glass windows are truly stunning.

A great way to see this incredible museum!
Mika was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, and spoke clearly. She was calm and navigated a very crowded museum quite smoothly. My children also loved Mika’s presentation. It was great to skip the line to enter. The meeting spot was clear. We stayed at the museum for a couple of hours after the tour as well. Highly recommend!

He brought life to the artist’s works. The paintings and sculptures are his canvas as he paints a portrait and brings to life all of the beautiful history. He himself is an artist. Thank you so much Ferret, from North Carolina!
